I think this seeding change is a 'game changer' for Arsene's proud record CL record of reaching the knockout stages.
Now we will always have 1 or in worst cases 2 Giant teams, in the group stages. In previous season's 1 or 2 losses, could mean we could always claw back by winning the 'gimme' games against sh!te opposition.
Now we have Bayern awaiting us and there is no margin for error.
The pressure is upped a few notches in the group stage itself and we are seeing the mental breakdown. Not really. This group is about as easy on paper as any we've gotten over the past few seasons.

If Wenger had any sense of what's best for the club, he'd put in his resignation for the end of the season. That would give the club plenty of time to find a replacement (while beating the manager rush that will happen in the spring) as well as give the players the motivation to 'win one for the gaffer'. What if we win the league because we don't have any European fixtures in the spring?

Don't get me wrong - no excuse for player selection and absolutely too loyal to his players - but how can the manager be blamed for the second goal? Ospina is a world class keeper. That is just freaky.
But the let downs after goals...no leadership...
Ospina a world class keeper?? L-O-FCKIN-L And first of all Wenger is the one that selects Ospina hence he'll take the blame for any fuck up, he know fully well that Ospina is capable of this brainfarts Secondly no one is blaming Wenger for the second goal they are blaming him for the DEFEAT. You really need to stick to drawing cartoons or is it 'Arts' you call it? And, as has been pointed out by others, you need to get a girlfriend.

Not really. This group is about as easy on paper as any we've gotten over the past few seasons. Agreed, and the losses have been to the two weaklings. We might charitably have written off the first as a stumble out of the starting blocks but after yesterday we look like one of the favorites for 3rd in our group.

Thank goodness the Gunners won't have to face a side that they're heavily favored to beat in their next two CL matches.
