I really cant believe you have wrote such rubbish Pizzy. I honestly used to think you had a good knowledge of football but this latest thread is beyond ridiculous
The Premier League entices more foreign stars than any other league in Europe & has less homegrown players than all the other leagues by a huge distance . The problem has absolutely nothing to do with the homegrown rule. In fact, just go back & look at the team sheets of all the recent winners & find one with less homegrown players than the English sides fielded this week .
You really need to let go of your ridiculous hatred of Sterling, which seems to be driving this lunacy of yours. Your post was as pointless & stupid as saying Arsenal would have had a better chance of beating Olympiakos if they had Messi & Ronaldo playing in place of Theo & the Ox
Judge them on the teams beating them, not on a who's who of World footballs football superstars who you rate higher than Sterling .In fact Sterling has been every bit as good, probably better than Aguerro this season, Aguerro, who I rate the only player I would have above Alexis in the Premier league has been dreadful in front of goal & has missed a ton of chances, many set up by Sterling. if you actually watched the games as a neutral instead of simply feeding your hate frenzy for Sterling you would see that .
You don't get what being Internationals has to do with it?
Ok , I will walk you through it you simpleton
Look at the 5 games the English teams have lost & tell me how many of those players from Zagreb, Olympiakos, PSV or Porto would get into the England team . England are a very good team, so if you are an England International you are no mug.
I don't know what channels you've been watching your football, but I tell you what start watching skysports, bbc, or bt sports and let me know if the pundits/commentators/ex footballers agree with you that Sterling has had an "excellent" start to the season LOL. And who's denying that Aguero has had a poor start to the season, the point which seems to be flying over your head is Aguero has PROVED he's better than this, Sterling hasn't, his performance so far this season is no different from the one last season at Liverpool got it????? or do I have to use stencils and crayons. FFS why do you always have to nitpick?? I wasn't just referring to Arsenal only. BTW even when Wenger (whom you rate highly) had the likes of Henry,Pires,Bergkamp,Vieira etc his performance was dreadful I was referring to English teams in general, yes it does apply to Arsenal as I think no stupid homegrown rule no Welbeck or Chambers, we'll be signing better value outside England It also does apply to Man city, who could have bought better players with the £49mil they blew on Sterling Chelsea simply couldn't buy because they've gone over the limit of foreign players, so they had to sort out loaning these players first before they could buy, and by the time they did so it was too late to buy a top class player, only one they could get was pedro. Another point which seems to be flying over your head is that compared to Germany and Spai England, France lack top top players hence fielding just one average English player can have a significant effect on the team. Hence the homegrown players fielded by Real, bayern, Psg and Barca are actually top top. I'm not surprised you ignored the other reasons I gave for English clubs struggles, like investing in more scouts, like smaller teams refusing to sell to bigger clubs because of the new influx of money, getting rid of the clueless directors of football and getting rid of the Capital one cupOf course you'll be more interested in a discussion involving your man crush
Did you even read what I wrote ? Re-read my reply & then read your post & explain to me how what you have wrote correlates with my post but here When you had Henry, Vieira Pires & Bergkamp you made the CL final I will ask you again, show me a team who has won the CL with LESS homegrown players that the English teams fielded this week As for James Wilson ?? WTF has he got to do with this, he hasn't played a minute of CL football I used Arsenal as a rebuttal to you using City, well not so much City, but your obsession, Sterling. I simply explained to you that any team would have a better chance if they signed the Worlds best players, surely you get that . Vieira didn't make the UCL final you dummy, when Arsene had the best core of players we were shit in Europe simple. Things seems to be flying over your head at the moment, I've said it that these other clubs can field more homegrown players because simply their homegrown players are BETTER than the overrated, overpaid average footballers that make up most of the national team...

Still not willing to address the other points I made about the causes of failure in the CL, which was the CORE of this thread, as usual chosen to nitpick which one he wants to talk about because of his agenda...

Look at the team sheet for the 2008 CL final. 10 English players started that final. Please explain that

Napoli, Lazio and Fiorentina all won their Europa League matches on Thursday night while Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur were held to draws.
Serie A is slowly chipping away at the EPL.
The Europa league EPL teams treat this competition like sh!te and it will cost us-Arsenal badly! What an irony...

But Pizzles darling, English teams have won the CL & made several finals with more homegrown players than were fielded this week. Whats your rationale for that ? Look at the team sheet for the 2008 CL final. 10 English players started that final. Please explain that
Moron are we talking about 2008 or now?? and due to your agenda it continues to fly over your head that the "homegrown" point I raised is not the only reason, you're looking more idiotic by every post...
Its very relevant though Pizz when your argument is that too many homegrown players are weakening English teams when stats clearly show the opposite to be the case . Only 7 years ago 2 English teams made it to the final with 10 English players starting the final . The reason I am concentrating on this point is because this is the part of your post I think ia absolute bollocks but again, when English teams were performing excellently in this comp no that long ago at all, they still competed in the Carling Cup
Bencause in your home town 2008 = 2015, KMT. But since 2008 the teams have more money than ever & have spent it on more foreign players than ever & the results in Europe are steadily declining, surely you can see this & therefore accept that its not the English players who are the problem here. I know you are a bit stubborn & not one to admit you got this wrong, but you really are pizzing up the wrong tree with the one . This was all brought about by your hatred for one very good young English player
