Not sure if this is a positive or a negative:

1. Walcott (6)
1. Auguero (6)
3. Giroud (5)
3. Alexis (5)

Interesting considering Giroud's few minutes of play.

As for TW vs Aguerro, could it simply be Aguerro gets more chances. Besides, we know at some point Theo will be subbed.

However, Alexis appears on par with Aguerro particularly this campaign thus far.

As long as we reasonably regress to the mean, this is great news.

Agreed. However, we have to continue to create. It seems that we lose that for a stretch each year.

Better to create plenty & miss plenty than create little & rely on luck & a great conversion rate like LVG's Utd

I've been arguing with everyone that Arsenal's results have not been telling us the whole story. We are creating a lot of chances, even in our losses, and not conceding a lot shots either. The United win wasn't a surprise for me because going by underlying stats, we have been very good (aside from the poor finishing and red cards) and the home advantage tipped the scale in our favor.

If we keep our players fit, I can see us making a really strong run in the league. With a bit (or a lot) of luck we could even qualify for the next round of CL. We need to keep putting our chances away and hopefully our keepers will stop literally dropping the ball back there.

United, on the other hand, will keep tinkering because they have not found the right formula yet, and some of their key players are out injured. They've been a team that, on the surface, has seemed more consistent, more solid than Arsenal, but the underlying stats tell you that while they've been defensively solid, they haven't created a lot going forward.

And that's a big problem for them because even Liverpool and Southampton are creating more. If those teams sort out their defensive problems they could cause problems in the top 4 race for United. But I'm sure United will improve, especially as the new signings settle in. I'm afraid they lack that Di Maria type player this year, though. Someone who can create something out of nothing. They'll have to rely on a "defence first" strategy this season, that seems to be their strength.

We have such incredible technical players in Santi, Ozil and Ramsey. All of them will create tons of chances.

Just imagine, Xidane if we had a lethal striker who is a world class finisher, who would finish 80% of the chances we create.
We would be running away with the league.

We are lucky we have Alexis and Theo is just beginning to step up.

By the way Aguero and Silva are out for months. Money City's form will suffer.
We have to capitalize and stay in the hunt. After February we have easy fixtures.

Its looking good this year as other teams will drop points and Chel$kie are nowhere.
We have to remain consistent.

Are we the best Attacking team in the EPL?
With Theo up front, and Alexis running at defenses and a not so slow Ramsey and Ozil, we are just lethal when teams play a high line and try to play football against us and come at us. Like Leicester and Man You

Our forward lineup will need to adapt when playing against deep defenses and against teams that like to sit back and play on the counter. That will be the challenge for us.

Agreed. Groin injuries are very susceptible to reinjury. I strained mine in mid August during a tempo run and reaggravated it two weeks ago even though I went to PT and followed protocol. I have to skip next weekend's half marathon because of it. They're tricky injuries.
