Though a birth in the next Confederations Cup is at stake, I don't think that either US Soccer or even Klinsmann is looking at this match as critical. If the US really needed a win, like during WC qualifying, the match would be played in Columbus. Instead, it's all about the dough, so the fact that US supporters will be outnumbered probably more than 10-1 on their own turf is no bother at all. I think that this will be an opportunity for Jurgen to give one last chance to his core of older stars, see what each of them has, and then move on towards preparing for Russia. I think Mexico are playing better football than the US at this moment, so I have little hope for the Yanks winning. And Landycakes is a bitter little man who needs to close his yapper. Ain't no way Klinsmann gets fired if he loses this match. |

Those comments is why Donovan gets that Landycakes moniker. STFU guy. Clean put ur pussy and get over it. He's probably rooting for a loss so Klinsmann looks bad. Wait...am I actually taking Klinsmann's side on something? |

What's so funny? Football is at best the fourth most popular team sport in my country, and even with last night's loss, we have been better than Mexico, for whom football is everything, for the last 15 years or so. Now that's funny. |

Time for Jurgen to walk the plank. He plays favorites. He did not play his best players. There is no way anyone can tell me that Guzan is better than Howard. There is no way you can tell me that Donovan did not deserve to be on the World Cup team. |
