I'm going to be in the Philadelphia area this weekend and may be in the City itself for the Arsenal game. Can you recommend a good place to watch it?

I stayed at the downtown Philly Marriott for a convention this past summer right by the Reading Terminal Market. Across the street from there a huge sports bar was pretty soccer friendly, they had all the Copa America matches on while I was there. I think you should have no problem finding a bar to carry it though since it will be at 12:30 p.m. Eastern and NBC is carrying it. Also here's the livesoccertv pub link for all the soccer friendly pubs:

Much appreciated!

I grew up in that part of the world but moved right after college and so am very far removed (in time and distance) from what might be available these days.

I don't have the van anymore. LOL

Fado's is the biggest place. Bit heavy on the wallet but it's a real good time. There's a place called O'Neal's that was good too. Both are in Center City.

U want a real Philly cheese steak then don't go to the tourist traps that are Geno's and Pat's. Go to John's Roast Pork on Snyder Ave or Tony Luke's on Oregon Ave. Both in South Philly. Killer sandwiches at both places.

Thanks. I lived there for 13 years but the only time I went to Pat's was years later as a business guest of someone who thought he was showing our group the best of the City. Can't believe that passes for a real cheesesteak given the competition!
