Who are our options to sign now for 70 million ?

Bender, M'Yann Villa for DM
Michu ,Rooney for the forward line. I say try for Benteke again even.
Williams, Richards for CB. Richards is quite versatile a defender too.

We talking about Micah Richards? I don't know. The shine is off him now. As a backup, I guess he could fill some need as he can play in a couple different spots across the back but he is capable of some real bonehead plays.

Hitman Jay isn't attacking you your conspiracy theory is just almost impossible to comprehend. As the Spanish would say no comprehendo!
¿Qué?

No 'h' in "comprendo".
Thanks rwmlite for the correction I was trying to show off my spannish after spending few days there.

Sky Sports is reporting that we made a bid for Yohann Cabaye. I like this move IF we can actually pull it off.

I thought the same thing when I saw we offered 10 mil for him. Newcastle apparently want double that. Good old Transfer Market lists him at 16.5 mil.

I get the whole I go low, you go high method of negotiations but do we really have time to squabble over player prices right now? Offer 16-17 mil and see what happens.

As 0893 would say, AW is definitely out of touch (with the transfer business)!

It seems that we can do transfers if we want to. But we are used to low ballng and raiding clubs in trouble like Malaga to secure Santi and Malaga, or haggling on price especially the player is in the final 2 years of his contract. That it seems we forget how to negotiate the big deals with clubs who are not insolvent or in trouble.

Cabaye seems to have the ability if not the durability to be worth much more, but this business of making "derisory" offers for players has become an exercise in self-parody.

Speaking of "derisory" offers, ManU bid 28 mil for both Felliani and Baines and got rejected immediately. While insulted at the offer, what Everton failed to mention is that the players weren't for sale. So naturally, WHERE THE FUCK ARE WE AT WITH THIS????

Surely we can offer 35-40 mil for those two and see what happens. I swear if ManU swing a deal for those two for anything less than 35 mil, I will go ballistic.
