Nach WELT-Informationen ist der Wechsel von Luiz #Gustavo vom #fcb zum #VfLWolfsburg fix. Mehr gleich auf welt.de

__

Now, my German is a little rusty, but I believe the translation is:

German newspaper Die Welt are reporting that Luiz Gustavo's move to Arsenal from Bayern Munich is off and that the midfielder will sign for Wolfsburg instead. Have the Gunners missed out on another target?

Supposedly, he wants Champions League footy. Then why would he go to Wolfsburg instead? Higher salary?

Dont think it matters. We aint signing shit this summer.

So much for wanting to play in Europe. Those guys aren't even in the Europa League.

Two and a half weeks to go. Now what?

We are being cheap and cant guarantee first team football.

I have to admit a part of me wants Arsenal to have a horrible start to their season so that Wenger gets shown the door. Rumor has it that there is a real tug of war between Wenger and Gazidis, with the latter getting fed up with Wenger's stinginess. I would love for Gazidis to put his foot down and demand signings. You know if the season starts as badly as last year he will not last the season (I hope so anyway). I don't think us fans will put up with more shit.

terrible..we have been bidding for players whose club is either not interested in selling the player or the player is not interested to play for Arsenal. Only Arsenal can produce such drama in the transfer market.

Nothing is official

If we cant land Gustavo - we are in trouble.

I mean if he would have gone to Shalke or Dortmund i understand.
But why Wolfsburg? They are not even in Europe.

I dont understand his choice. Disappointing.

Kamy, you can't understand why Gustavo chooses Wolfsburg? I can't understand why Arsene does not want to pay more for him. Clearly we are not prepared to outbid Wolfsburg and lack determination to secure him. It shows that Arsenal is not really interested in Gustavo so why should he choose Arsenal.
