Diaby still has a knee injury?

Anyway The real question I have is did we get to this point by design or by accident. How many deals did we attempt to pull off this summer and how many have fallen though. Looking at our squad, there has to be more than Gustavo, Higuain and Suarez as our transfer activity for the entire summer.if that is all we did all summer then that level of incompetence is simply mind boggling. If we did more than this then then you have to also ask questions about our ability to get things done. The idea that we have been unable to complete one transfer in almost 3 months, whether it is finding the right players or making the deals happen is unbelievable.
Diaby tore his ACL, didn't he?

This summer is a microcosm of the last few years. Whenever we've been a player or two away...we've stood pat. Same in January. This regime is out of touch with how the market really works. I think Wenger has too much trust in his squad depth to cover for injuries, too.

Arteta's injury couldn't have come at a worse time, but in a way, the timing couldn't have been better.

Expensive striker lust aside, what Ivan and his scouts should have been focused on this summer was bolstering the quality and depth at the DM position. I started calling for this as soon as Arteta started to fade during the second half of last season. My contention was then and still is that not only should a quality DM be brought in to spell Arteta, but to compete with him as well.

Had Arteta been healthy today, likely the Gunners at least get a draw if not a one or two goal win. But Villa for me is a poor measuring stick, and a win against them might have reduced the urgency to bolster the squad. So hopefully, his being out today ushers in some new signings, including his eventual replacement.

And beyond that, everybody knows we're in crisis mode. If Wenger didn't want to pay through the nose before, he's in for a rude awakening...

It was only going to be a matter of time before this happened.

Now, we are to face the CL qualifications, without the main leader, organizer, and calming influence of the team. If by the end of this transfer window if we are facing CL exit or have not signed any major signings, Arsenal fans should rise up against the current custodians of the club.

Boycott from the games, Boycott from watching Arsenal. And bring real power to the Arsenal Football Club and the fans who love the club.
Maybe you could boycott this forum as well, it would be at least one glimmer of light .

When you are trying to gather a groundswell against a group causing decay to something you hold dear, your suggestion is worthy of the imbecile you are.

Emasculated by Maggie, and bolting off as a ten pound pommie is your way to deal with matters. Thanks for your "advice", but from a bolter and faker like you, I decline.

Tell me Billy, just how is you not turning on your TV going to affect how Arsenal do their business? BTW, cost me a whole lot more than 10 quid to get here, but it was well worth it
