@NinaBracewell: And how deeply I regret selling to Kroenke. #AFC @NinaBracewell: Bring David Dein and give Usmanov representation on the board if we are to have success going forward. #AFC @NinaBracewell: What a shame the board recommended a Kroenke takeover and paid Rothchilds 3m fee. |

well at least she regrets it, but Usmanov could have used her 15.9% to get a seat at the board and have more influence. |

She took the money and ran anyway. So she can shut the fuck up. If you cared so much about Arsenal than you would've picked that over the money being thrown in your face. I defnitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. |

Agreed. Is there another side of the bed today? Edited by dsch15, Aug 19 2013, 10:21 AM.

I've had days like that. Especially after a long night of drinking. |

Nina Bracewell-Smith sided against David Dein when he tried to convince the board to operate a different financial model over a decade ago. That decision affected our operation in the transfer market. It also meant the stadium loan would be repaid aggressively and over a short period of time. It meant that the share-price, including the shares that were greatly expanded by her late husband rose dramatically in value and made of her a millionaire several times over. Now, Lady Nina was a direct beneficiary of the cost controls and austerity that the club effectively had to have between 2002 and now. I find her comments hypocritical as a result. One thing I cannot understand is what benefit she has from speaking now. Unless we are going to have one of those rags to riches autobiographies with a tapestry of interesting angles about a modest woman who bagged a millionaire much her senior, and entered the boardroom at Arsenal. |

LOL,.. but to her defense, isn't this prolly why "she took the money and ran?" She clearly might have recognized her past decisions affected the way the club was competing and so she parted. She was handing over the keys to someone she thought would do a better job than the mess she supported. So perhaps this lone response from her is quite interesting given the timing.. |
