Arsenal really mismanaged this game.
This one is on Wenger. We were poised to retain the top spot, now we dropped to third. We now have to travel to Germany and Southern Italy. We will probably only get 1 point out of those 2. We will probably tie Marseille. We would still qualify for Europa league though.
Not to overreact or anything
My thoughts exactly. If Klopp was a master tactician much better than Wenger how come his players had to throw themselves into last minute blocks tonight. Makes you wonder eh? We go on a winning run and they call for restraint. We lose one game, unluckily, and well... The rest is mind numbingly predictable. Good night. I don't think Wenger got the tactics wrong at all ... That is how you play Dortmund, let them press and tire and hit them later... Really it worked, the goals against came off a very bad Ramsey error, and a lightning bolt counter when Arsenal were clearly better. It's not as if Dortmund created chance after chance.
The only real qualm I have with the team tactics tonight is the use of Wilshere over Cazorla, I thought Santi was Arsenal's best player in only 35 or so minutes...

We will lose in Germany. Guaranteed. I'm sure you had the same sentiment after the Bayern game last year too, eh?

Good observation on Santi, but I wonder if he's ready for 90 minutes. He may have looked better because Dortmund were starting to tire. Still, he was an injection of class and I really thought he was going to create or score the winner. Oh well.

He was slow getting on to a flick by Giroud. I agree, our best player by far, but wasn't ready for a full 90 in that intensity.
Wenger>Klopp, in spite of the result.
