Standard offering at most Indian restaurants here in the US. As it will be difficult to buy for me and CL Dream here, I will assume that when I ever make it to India, you'll buy me a fresh one. |

Correction. We are still top of the group due to tiebreaker. http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2014/standings/index.html Hope having Theo and Flamini will make a difference in 15 days. |

Nice as it will be to have good players returning, we can beat Dortmund with exactly the team we fielded today. We dictated play for considerable stretches of the game despite subpar performances from Ramsey and Wilshire - I'd really like to see the former given the day off against Palace - and could easily have been the winners. It may stretch a point to say the final score did not reflect the match (Dortmund had their moments, too), but no more than would be the case if you concluded from today that we don't belong among the top teams. I like our chances in Germany, and I expect us to qualify for the knock out rounds as usual. |

My opinion of the team even before this game has always been we are not dominating teams enough, the 'champagne' thing might sound as a joke of an argument. The bottom line is, so far this season we've just been efficient and that's due to ozil and co without really creating a lot of clear cut chances. I saw the Norwich game yes 4 beautiful goals, but I expect an Arsenal team to completely annihilate Norwich. This is just not restricted to the norwich game, we had the swansea, sunderland, stoke and fulham game where we didn't create a lot of clear cut chances, we created a few and that was enough. Against a top opposition it won't be enough |

Arsenal would need to win 30 times against mediocre teams to win the premier league so this result doesnt really tell you anything you dont already know. Arsenal can play a lot better than they showed today and in fact I would argue that we lost the game at the point when we had most control. We basically allowed Dortmund press us and dominate possession and then carelessly allowed them score when they were running on fumes. I wouldnt necessarily consider the performance in this game as a reflection of how we would consider against the big teams in the premier league. The premier league is a different type of game and I would argue that we played with a bit of hand brake knowing that a draw would have been an adequate result. The only way this result can become a problem is if it affects the confidence of the team. I think it might actually be a wake up call for Arsenal. I would like to see how Arsenal perform in the next ten game of the premier league to have a genuine assessment of the team (that would be about the mid point of the season) but I still think Arsenal would have enough to qualify out of this CL group. |

The difference between the two teams was the midfield. When Dortmund lost possession they showed urgency by being back in numbers. We just dawdled when we lost possession. |

I feel like we would almost look at the mistake of this game which were pretty obvious and play a lot better. We have lost worse games than this and came back and won the next leg convincingly (Bayern and Milan). The good thing is it is not the knock out phase and we still have a lot of chances to qualify. Tactically though we miss Walcott, we cant allow a team press so high and not be able to punish the gaps they are leaving behind. Flamini has also now become one of the most indispensable players in the team. We saw a bit of it against Norwich in the weekend, we struggle to win the ball back when we dont have him in the team. |

We definitely deserved at least 1 point from this match. BVB did well in the first 30 minutes but after that Arsenal gradually gained momentum back and was hitting top gear around the 70-80 minute mark until we got punished by a goal. BVB was efficient in that they didn't have many chances at all but managed to score 2 goals. Arsenal probably had 3-4 times more good chances compared to BVB and 2 of those chances went real close with a random defender blocking a shot and santi's shot bouncing off the top right corner bar. After the 30 minute mark I didn't feel we played inferior to BVB although I must admit our attacking third only showed brilliance in short bursts. Ozil for some reason was constantly stuck on the far right hand side of the field, limiting the influence he could have in the game. I don't know if that was on purpose tactically but I thought that was really strange. This is the first game where I didn't see him at all for long periods of time. He should have been in the midfield more, dictating passes because all others except Rosicky and later Santi weren't passing confidently. The press will say what they want, but I don't feel defeated after watching the game. The more efficient side (as well as showing more desire) won the game tonight and hopefully we can switch up a gear or 2 when we meet them again in a few weeks time. |
