I think we are caught between being a pressing team and sitting back to soak up pressure. At the start of the second half we allowed them come at us and looked fairly comfortable. When they eventually scored, it came from a situation when our players were far up the pitch and then we really needed to gamble and press to prevent the break from developing. Overall I dont think we put in a good shift defensively and part of the blame goes to Wenger. We look venerable defensively at the left back position as Dortmund full back bombed forward with no one picking him up but was not able to deliver a decent ball. That is something that had to be rectified, because their fullback Kevin Grosskreutz had at least 5 crosses where he was left unmarked but just didnt deliver a good ball. Imagine if that was a world class fullback like Alves at his prime afforded that amount of time and space. I also question why Sagna was also too far forward on the goal, we cant have both full backs bombing forward at the same time. |

We really deserved to get at least a point out of this match. Dortmund weren't all that great today to me. I can see us going there and winning. For all their pressing and passing, they turned that into very little real chances on goal. They got one off an overconfident Ramsey turnover and the other off a slick counter when we were all over them. No doom and gloom here. We weren't even close to being outclassed and created more danger moments than Dortmund did. Just didn't get the result. |

This was a game where I feel once we scored to tie the game, after 70 minutes we should have [arked the bus and played for a draw. We were getting dominated out there. We missed Flamini. |

A draw would have guaranteed that we would escape from the group. Now we will have to get a result at BD to make sure. |

I thought that the first tie-breaker was goal difference. Pray tell, why is Dortmund one better than the Gooners in this area yet behind them in the table? |

Marseille are not helping. To beat them are just on par with Naples and BVB. Everyone will have a base of 9 points. By losing at home to BVB, we need to beat BVB or Napoli to get to at least 12 points to qualify. That was a HUGE point to drop today. |

We are on top alphabetically. Take away the Marseille results the mini tiebreakers have us all three tied. Arsenal beat Napoli 2 to 1. Napoli beat BVB 2 to 1. BVB beat us 2 to 1. It's head to head first before Goal difference. |

What game were you watching? We were so on top and were getting closer and closer to a goal when Dortmund scored. Wenger said we should've been more cautious and made sure we didn't lose. And I agree. But at no point were we being dominated. Well until the first goal we were pretty crap but Dortmund hadn't created a lot of chances either. Our defending needs to improve now. You can't expect to keep winning games when you keep concede stupid goals. It cost us against WBA, and now again in this game. In FM13 terms, we need to schedule defence training for the coming week or two. |

I just don't believe that Marseille will lose all 3 of their games at home. Hopefully they can get something off Dortmund. We can still get 4 points from the remaining games and that should be enough for qualification. |
