Bendtner seems even taller than Giroud. If we are chasing games and desperate for a goal. Why can't we go ugly and throw , Mert our BFG, Our Samurai Sword and our French Howitzer at them .

I suppose we aren't that desperate yet. We will get to see in the knock out stages and the cup games maybe ;)

We we can't win using our artists, we just flatten them. That's why Jose tend to do when he was playing us.

That's a bit like when Stuart Pearce moved David James up front to play as a target man.

The thing is, it's not a very effective style of football to lump it up to big men in the box. Teams like Stoke try it for 90 minutes without scoring most of the time.

I'd rather we were never so desperate as to abandon our effective passing game for hopeful long balls and crosses. But it depends on what the situation is in the game.
If we're in a situation where we can't even string 2 passes together or can't get the ball up the final third at all, having 2 (or 3) targetmen up front to bring the ball down would be a good option.
But in the end even if you take a more direct approach I'd rather we didn't resort to route 1 approach, simply because it doesn't work.
And I am glad that this season we haven't been crossing as much. Our game is more about short passes this season and it's great to see and more effective.
