Great goal, but not a particularly courageous effort by the second defender coming in as he turned away from the shot.

Great goal...but it led to NY capturing the Supporters' Shield in lieu of Sporting KC. Now I have to hope that Houston can turn their recent history against NY around in the playoffs (making the very large assumption that they get past Montreal in the playin game).

Seriously though, much respect for KC, from the cool name for the team (The Wiz didn't quite make it for a couple of reasons) to the wild support for the USMNT.

Yeah. KC has turned into one of the select few soccer hotbeds in this country. It's pretty cool...even if SKC is my adopted second team.
