ManU are trying to sign Dante from Bayern? Why would they think he'd want to go there?

At his pre-Fulham news conference on Friday, the Sky Sports reporter took his chance to ask
Arsene Wenger the burning question.

"Are you," he inquired, "any closer to doing a deal for Julian Draxler?"

"No," Wenger said.

The Sky Sports man wasn't to be put off, however. "There was a suggestion," he probed, eyebrows all-a-wiggle no doubt, "that he'd had a look around here at London Colney [Arsenal's training ground]."

Wenger paused.

"That must have been an unidentified flying object. People think they see them everywhere."

In print however, even if the UFO stuff is classic Wenger, we don't get the full story, because the Arsenal manager's smile said so much more than his words. A flat-out denial, the "no," was delivered with a grin, and regular Wenger watchers will know how dryly funny the Frenchman can be.
Wenger is a legend.
Exactly a 'legend' that goes 8 years winning fuck all. I think he would finally win something this year though
Easy there Kam. Just say that Wenger is a legend. Trophies are irrelevant.

According to the Guardian, ManU is about to make a record offer for Juan Mata. Chelsea will demand Rooney in return but expect United to say no.

Yup trophies are always relevant eh. Maybe we should ask Ben Johnson and Lance Armstrong.

Wenger is a legend in my books. So is Sagna . Ff he stays on and retires as a gunner. Even if he doesn't retire as a gunner. If he always has good things to say about the club like Henry and Cesc. He will always be a legend and gooner in my heart and other gunners true and true because he knows who the "enemy" is .

What did Sagna win for us in his whole career , if we don't get anything this season ? Nothing.

So if Sagna does not win a trophy with us and for us , makes him less of a legend ?

If I were united I'll give them Rooney the reason being
1)United need Mata than Chelsea need Rooney
2)Rooney or no Rooney at least for the next couple of years until Moyes is fired, Chelsea will be better than United
3)Rooney isn't happy at united so why not let him go now that they can get more money for him
But the smarter move would be to offer them RVP(apparently he too is unhappy) instead of Rooney.

Seems like Chelsea are willing to sell Mata to ManU. I'm reading that on of the conditions of the move is that Mata has to come directly to Jose and tells him he wants to go. Don't know if that's true but it's funny as hell that Jose would make him do that.

What I have come to accept in this transfer window is even Manchester United have been unable to make a signing. The only notable signing so far has been Chelsea signing of Matic and it isn't necessarily a massive transfer even though Chelsea paid a lot of money for him. It is hard to know if a player signed from Benfica would make an impact in the PL yet alone hit the ground running this season and help Chelsea this season.

Again, your little head is doing the thinking for your big head. Your 24/7 stiff for Le Boss has you missing more than one point here. First, Kamy didn't author those remarks; he merely posted them. And Xixou's reply was totally in reference to Wenger's classic demeanor and not his record (though as I pointed out previously here, his shambolic record will see a bust of him erected in front of The Emirates).

Pizzy's pissy, immature response was so expected, it was given no notice, but like a fly on shit, in comes 0893.

Legendary!
