So what's up with the shop? Did City Lights come and fix the pole yet? Do we have to pay for the pole? Did you witness the accident? I heard from dad that is was really bloody and was a big mess. |

Some idiot drove a Truck at 50 mile per hours and crash into our Pole. Due to the big impact, the Car split in half and his body part all fall apart everywhere and immediately taken to the Hospital. We were trying to get his information, like does he have Insurance to pay for it, but he was knock out. Think he may be dead by now though. What freaking crazy is that the City Light don't cover it because it was in our land. We have to find an electrician to fix it. However, after calling one, they say it cost $16,000 to fix it. I look at their Estimate and it was very ridiculous! Not only because the price, but they have hidden charge in there. In the Estimate it say some very lame way up jacking up the price that don't make any sense that make me so piss! Stuff like... Emergency Come - $229.99 25% Markup Cost <--- Uh WTF!? $2,899.99Taxes - $ 899.99 something like that. Why the hell taxes on flat rate labor. Fuse Charge take out, Fuse Charge take in, etc, etc. Now we trying to get our Insurance to pay for it, hope they cover it. It been several day working without electricity already. |

That's gross man, did his body really all fall apart? He shouldn't even be needed to taken to the hospital as he would've died instantly. And $16,000 to fix a pole is absurd. What kind of pole is it anyways? |

Well, just kidding about his body part fall everywhere since I wasn't there. I exaggerated it a little. What really happen as I hear it from Dad, he was there is that it was a very big impact. The Car did split a little and he was seriously injured. There were blood everywhere from the accident. It was just a big electric pole that run electricity. Nothing special except it was quite big and made of thick metal. It bend more then half way in, so as you can tell it was a really big impact. If he wasn't driving a Truck, he would have died instantly. |

Those are insanely high and stupid charges. I heard it was $70 per hour for the electrician? $70? What are they, a frekkin lawyer? How are you suppose to work without electricity? |
