>> You can play every game online on Xbox Live without possibility of getting banned, considering that you make sure you stealth patch the game through abgx.
>> You can download all updates + DLC and use them normally.
>> Signing up for Xbox Live for the first time will give you 1 month of free unlimited online play. You don't even need to enter a credit card.

How to play games

Playing from backup disc:
  1. Insert the backup disc in the Xbox 360.
  2. After the Xbox 360 is done reading the game, simply launch it from the dashboard (Play Game). Or if Auto Play is enabled the game will start automatically.
How to burn/install games

Burning downloaded games to disc:

  1. Download the Xbox 360 game you want via torrents, newsgroup, etc.
Imporant: Make sure the game is either Region Free or NTSC-U (USA region). Flashed Xbox 360s cannot read out of region games like Japanese and European.
  2. Uncomress the files. If the game is ripped and compiled correctly, you should have both an iso and dvd file.
  3. You now need to stealth patch the game. This allows you to play the backup game undetected by Microsoft so you won't get banned.

    • Download abgx.
    • Run abgx, select the game's iso file and then click Launch to stealth patch the game.
    • Once it's done you can exit abgx.
  4. You are now ready to burn the game to disc. The media you need to use is Verbatim brand DVD+RL (Made in Singapore).
  5. Download and launch ImgBurn.
  6. Select write to disc from iso file, then select the dvd file (NOT the iso file).
  7. Select 2.4x write speed and uncheck Verify.
  8. Burn your game, and after it's done you should be able to play it on your Xbox 360.
Installing games to internal HDD:
  1. Insert the game disc you want installed into your Xbox 360.
  2. When the game pops up on the dashboard, where it saids Play Game, press Y to bring up game utilities menu. You may need to disable Auto Play to do this.
  3. Select Install Game to install the game fully to your internal HDD.
Note: You will still need the game disc in the console in order to start the game. You cannot play the game without its game disc inserted. The game disc must be the game that is to be played, not just any game disc will work.[/b]
How to rip games from original discs

Materials required:
  1. Samsung sh-d163b DVD drive flashed with Kreon firmware.
This drive is required for the PC to read the Xbox 360 game in order to rip it. You can easily find these drives on eBay for around $35.
Steps:
  1. Install the DVD drive to your PC with SATA or IDE connection (depending on the model you bought).
  2. Download and install Xbox Backup Creator (Google for latest version).
  3. Launch Xbox Backup Creator.
  4. Select your ripping drive (i.e. sh-d163b).
  5. Insert the Xbox 360 game you want to rip into the sh-d163b DVD drive.
  6. Press Start, select the directory and enter a name.
  7. Once it's finished you should get a dvd file in return.
  8. Stealth patch the file with abgx.
  9. Simply launch ImgBurn and burn the dvd file as you normally would with a downloaded game.

Question:

Ok I just got a Kreon DVD-ROM on eBay for $35 ship, he say it already been flash to read XBox 360 Games.

1.) But now I need to know if the DVD+R Double Layer need to be certein brand. It have to be Vibratim?

2.) Does it have to be Singapore made? Why the hell it need to be made in Singapore?

3.) 8X is fine?

4.) Lastly, DO I REALLY HAVE TO PATCH? What if I never plug in Ethernet Cable and NEVER use Online Features? How can it detect me and Bann my XBox?

Well, I just want to go out and grab a Vibratim 8x DVD+R DL at a local Best Buy or Frys so it is faster. On eBay they run not cheap at all 30 Pack DVD+R Vibratim 8x Singapore for $49.99.

Yeah it has to be Verbatim, becuase Verbatim is the only high quality DVD+R DL being made nowadays. The 360 won't read low quality cheap discs.

Some Verbatims are made in India, which will be low quality. There have been reports of Verbatims being made in India not working and leaving coasters. Singapore Verbatims are the best quality, so it's safe to go with them all the time.

3.) 8X is fine?
The max speed you can burn 360 games is at 4X. 2.4X is recommended however. Any higher than 4X the 360 will get problems reading the disc.

Yes they can detect you even if you're offline cause they store the games you play in the console's database. It's always better idea to patch even if you don't use online. Some games require you to patch anyways, or else they won't load on the 360. Patching is super easy though, you just run abgx, put the iso file into it then let it patch. Takes only 5-10 minutes at the most. After it's done patching you can burn it and play it.

Ok on a different subject. I asked the seller of the 360 to reimburse me with a new faceplate since the one got was cracked. He said I had to return the faceplate to him first, wtf?!

So I leave this decision to you. Do you want to return the faceplate back to him and get a new one? You'll have to be stuck with an ugly 360 without faceplate until he gets the broken faceplate back and sends out a new one. I don't think Khen will like it.

I was just thinking of buying a new one off eBay, return the broken one, then sell the one he sends me. Kind of fiend though and with fees and shit will lose money in the end.

Dude what an ASS, it his fault with poor packaging that the Faceplate broke. Shipping it back cost more then the Face lift itself.

You should tell him that, and take a picture and send it to him. He lucky you don't send the whole XBox 360 back for money back because it isn't that new to start with.

How can you tell if the Vibratim is made in Singapore? Some doesn't even say where it is made. And for the 8x, I do not mean to burn it at 8x. I mean can get the DVD Media 8X format.

Let me get this straight...

You want him to fly to Singapore to buy a Vibratim DVD+R DL. This is the only way to make sure it is Singapore made.

Go to Korean to get Korean DVD Player that can read XBox 360 since it is already discontinue.

Hired a Ninja to stealth the game so it can be invisible and not be seen when playing game on XBox 360.

Use a Korean DVD Player to read the XBox 360, but use another DVD+R DL Player to burn the image. But the image have to be read and burn first on the computer, then the image .iso file need to be create on the PC, then let the DVD+R DL Player to burn the disc, but have to patch it with Ninja stealth first, then burn it at 2x and burn it on DVD+R DL Media that is only made in Singapore.

lol

Well it only costs around $2 to send it via USPS First Class Mail, but still a pain in the ass cause you have to physically go to the post office to send it since they don't let you print first class postage online. I think I'll just buy a new one on eGay and throw this one away. $8 is not that big of a deal. If I argue with him and he gets all mad he might not send the games, which he hasn't yet. I don't know, I might do as you say and take a picture and state shipping it back costs as much as buying a new faceplate and see what he says. I am definitely not going to send it back without at least getting a new faceplate first though, since it takes too long and 360 is ugly and not very usable without it.

You can look at the packaging wrap to see where it is made, it should say "Made in Singapore" or "Made in India" in tiny print somewhere there. That is the only way to tell right now whether it is Singapore and India. And yeah 8x is fine, I burn all my games with 8x Verbatim Made in Singapore and they all work flawlessly.

Ok let play nice and get the games first. Since loosing the games is more costly then a stupid faceplate. But if he don't send the games make sure you give him a hard time after that because you loosing a deal here since the used XBox was rather expensive without those games.

Did he say when he gonna send those XBox 360 Games or is he gonna lied now and not send it?

I bought a new replacement faceplate for the 360 on eGay, so it should be here soon. Afterwards I'll return the broken faceplate to him and ask him when and if he sent the games yet.

One more thing, make sure you make a copy of whatever games you want to play/use. I haven't played most of the game so I might need the games back. And sharing is kind of annoying in having to take games back and forth.

Is it DVD9 dual layered? Regular DVD won't work.

I wouldn't recommend it anyways even if it did. Cheap quality media can damage the laser and make it more likely to fail in the future.

Man, this is getting frustrating and getting more complicated each time. Just wasted tons of money and it still won't rip game properly? Have you ever try ripping an XBox 360 Games?

So the Samsung SH-D163B DVD Player come. XBox Backup Creator always failed on 3% saying "Security Sector Failed: Retrying over and over again until say "Read Failed" then stop.

Are you using an original game disc not a copy? I doubt it will work for copied games since patching modifies or removes the security sectors within the disc.

I never bothered trying to rip games from disc since I have nowhere to attach the drive to, I just stick to downloading games.

It could be a number of things, the game disc being bad, the drive being bad or the software. Instead of Xbox 360 Backup Creator you can Schtrom360Xtract V4.1. http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox1data/sep/EkVVlyplVZtizPQobJ.php

I've also read these so they are worth a try:
Quote:

For any one that is trying to backup one of your games and you are getting the invalid security error try getting the securty sector before reading by goin to the drive tool and selecting security sector. if that fails try cleaning ur disc and repeating the process.
Quote:

Hey same thing happens to me all you have to do is exit XBC turn off then on ur drive (if it's external) if not restart ur computer. And try again if it says invalid secrurity sector again click retry a few times and if it still dosent work repeat these steps. Some if my games I had to retry 10 plus times! But all have eventually worked.

I suggest you try a few different games first to single out whether or not it's the drive that's bad.

No this is original XBox 360 Games rent right from Blockbuster. It keep saying Bad security sector none stop. I look at the DVD and it clean. Try again a couple of time, it still say Bad secutity sector a couple times again but this time it finish with 7GB Image File.

I try abgx and it say Verification failed at the end. Now does this mean that the file is not patch or something wrong? Should I even try burn it and put in my XBox? Will it Brick my XBox? Kinda f.&ck up if put in copy game without patch or wrongly patch broke a $300 XBox is very stupid. If it like that, think I just re-sale the XBox.

How you know if abgx patch it or not??
