Ok, did you make sure you insert the disc AFTER you load the program and not before. So launch the program first, then insert the disc then back it up. Otherwise it won't work and won't read the security sectors. Also try turning off your computer and try again. Here is an abgx tutorial so you can try to set it up like so and see if it helps: http://www.ixtreme.net/360-backups/4710-abgx-tutorial.html I suggest setting up your abgx like on the tutorial and patch it TWICE. Afterwards you can see if there are no more errors or fails. Also, verification fail doesn't mean that the file is bad, but maybe the game is not the database yet (http://www.abgx.net/filename/?ch=6). If the game new it will take some time to be in the database. If this it the case, as long as you patch the file it should be okay. You can go ahead and burn it and see if it works. No disc is going to brick the 360, this is not like the PS3. What is the game? And what does the log say exactly? If you copy me the log I can try to find some more information about it. It BioShock 3, there some security error but it went through so I don't know if it was a good burn or not. I try agbx at level 3 security, still failed but this time it went through and patch it I think. I look up the list and the game is not on the list. Is that all the list? The Database is very tiny. Is there anyway to burn game to Hard Drive like an External Drive like PS3? Or I have to buy an official XBox 250GB? 250GB is so little too. The loading is a bit loud and the tickling noise of DVD is a bit annoying. |

BioShock 3? There is no such thing. Only BioShock and BioShock 2 + Expansions. BioShock + BioShock 2 is in the abgx database, I just gave you the wrong database I think. Here is the abgx database: http://abgx360.net/verified.php Since you said it was patched and fixed I believe it's safe to play. Make sure stealth and verification pass though before you play the game online or you can get flagged for ban. Oh, and whenever a game fails at something in abgx, just keep patching it over until all the errors gets fixed. That is the only way to get 100% perfect backup disc. Playing on external hard drive is only available for jtag Xbox 360. You have to use Microsoft internal hard drive to install games on flashed. Hard drive space is not a big deal since you have to have game disc. Just install all the games you are currently playing to eliminate the DVD noise. Then later when you're out of space you can always delete games you've finished or don't play anymore. Edited by Caim, May 20 2011, 01:27 AM.

Got the stupid faceplate today, will install it sometime tomorrow. So your 360 will look more new now. So gay having to return the broken back to him. Are you going to buy an internal hard drive? I think 120GB is enough, since you're only using it to store games you are currently playing and not all games to eliminate DVD noise. After you're done playing the game you can just delete it off hard drive to free up space for other games. No reason to try to install all games on the internal hard drive since you still need disc to start the game. |

Yes 120GB is good enough since the max is 250GB and it a waste since it have to be official. Only need it to tone down game that constantly loading. |

Okay what the hell is this. The 360 faceplate came and it was all dirty! I cleaned it all off then proceed to install it. But the power button is messed up somehow, it won't make a click noise like normal and hard to press. However, the power button has turned into some kind of touch based button instead of a click button.. cause even when you slightly make contact with the power button the 360 turns on and off. Now I don't know if this is normal or not, but my 360 didn't do this as well as the old faceplate. And this one is supposed to official Microsoft brand. So now I'm asking if you prefer this or not. Would you rather have the power button make a click noise and press it down a bit with pressure, or have a touch sensitive button that turns on/off with a slight touch of it. Let me know cause I'm planning to return this back to him. |

I never like Touch Sensitive button because it will auto shut off when you accidentally got your hand near it. It would be okay if it not that sensitive, like you have to hold it down for awhile and it turn on and off. But the way you said it look like it is not. You also said it dirty and crap. Maybe this face plate there is something wrong with it since XBox 360 Elite are not touch sensitive. How come you don't buy it Brand New? And speak of eBay, god it is getting so Gay now. Seam like everything I buy from eBay is junk that don't work like it should. The Kreon DVD Player I get from eBay now doesn't burn any game at all. I may get lucky with 1 game like Bioshock II, but then it would give me shit and nag all the time Sector security failed. Now I don't know if I should return it and get another DVD Player or the program is like this. I doubt it since I google and people seam to burn just fine, I couldn't burn any damn XBox 360 without it stopping at 3% and Security sector error, then Read Failed.

No it's not that touch sensitive, you have to press down a little bit for it to register, but there is no click sound or anything so it's messed up. I'll probably install it for you tomorrow and have you test it to see if you are okay with it or not, otherwise I'll just return it. I didn't buy brand new since there is no official brand new white faceplates, only customized patterned ones. Faceplates from third party can be very poor and the buttons won't push right. This one looks a little cool, but too bad it's blue so it won't match rest of console. If you like it I'll buy it instead of buying another plain white one: http://cgi.ebay.com/XBOX-360-OFFICIAL-Microsoft-Faceplate-HotRod-Hot-Rod-/290567889249?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item43a7322161 All other faceplates are butt ugly. About the DVD player I suggest your return and trying to get another. That guy probably sold it because it is broken. Take a look at this one, he has way better feedback and saids it works great: http://cgi.ebay.com/Kreon-SH-D163A-SATA-Drive-Reading-Xbox-360-Games-/250823416833?pt=PCC_Drives_Storage_Internal&hash=item3a663d9c01 Unfortunately it's hard to find these drives outside of eGay, so you're going to stick to eGay to get one. But it might be even something up with your computer. So if you tried all the steps I mentioned already (inserting disc AFTER the launching the program and not before; restarting your computer everytime), try putting in Khen's computer and see if it's any different. Also, did you try using Schtrom360Xtract instead of Xbox Backup Creator? Edited by Caim, May 21 2011, 09:43 PM.

I send him an email wanting to return for a Refund and look like he not responding yet. It look like a Failed DVD Player. He have low feedback and doesn't know much about burning XBox 360 so think he not even test it. May be a bad flash too. I try Scchtrom360Extract and it also failed at 3%. I'm going to try renting couple more game to see if it is indeed the DVD Player and also try on Khen computer. That too bad, I was gonna rip and back WET. |

Dude what is wrong with this XBox 360, I think the DVD Player in it is bad. Sometime it would not read game at all. At first I thought it got brick or dead until I restart constantly and Eject in and out over and over until it finally read a disc game. Sometime it is just blank, game also freeze none stop randomly now. Do you think this is a bad XBox 360? |

It could be a bad game or disc. If it does it again or to different discs let me know, I'll send it back to him to get it repaired or replaced.

I burn the game at 2x and game still freeze, it happen random. But I don't think it normal for it to spin and make clicking sound none stop like this. The first time when I turn it on I know there problem already. This have 90 Days Warranty right? If it happen on other game and too many game, I ask Khen if he want to return it to have the DVD Replace. Can we replace the DVD ourself and flash it, it is hard? Think the DVD Player is getting bad. Also, what happen if you use Unofficial XBox 360 Hard Drive. Don't plan on using online, it just so many people sell on eBay it hard to tell which one are official. And official one are mad overprice. |

If you still don't think the DVD drive noises are normal, then take a look at the video below. Then look at all the comments of people saying it's normal and their 360 makes the same noises. For more proof just search for more 360 DVD noises videos and you'll see that every one of them sounds the same. My 360 makes the same noises (it sounds much like yours) and it works 100% flawlessly, and I never had any disc reading or freezing problems when playing games I've burnt. yea my benq drives like that its normal stevoman132 2 years ago all benq drives sounds like that mines too ![]() Biestard1 2 years ago its normal BigSmooth77 2 years ago Don't worry that's normal. trust me Kratoss1 2 years ago Thats normal. Thats the Laser... Koenigspils 2 years ago The BenQ/Lite-On are considered the best and most reliable drives compared to other drives for the 360, they are also said to be the quietest. Really there is no other solution other than wasting $200+ more on trying to get a slim. And the reason why it's louder because it's flashed at 12x, meaning it will read much faster than normal. So even though you get a louder noise the games will load much faster than normal. PS3 only reads discs at 2x speed, super slow in comparison but less noise overall. I have a question though. Are the games that are freezing or refusing to load up your games that you've burned only? Does it happen to games that I've burnt? Try playing and testing games which I've burnt. I'm thinking it could simply be bad media, bad iso or incorrectly burnt. You don't want to waste money returning it when it works fine, and that you're just using bad media. Are you sure you bought the right Verbatim discs made in Singapore? You know I once bought a bad batch of Verbatims and they end up causing the game to not work and freeze. After I returned it and got a new spindle all the games work perfect. You can use unofficial third party hard drive if you want, just know that you may be banned from Xbox Live. Then your console will be worthless (if you're trying to sell it). Edited by Caim, May 23 2011, 09:14 PM.

Well I only so far test Alan Wake, new download Torrent game not from Pirate Bay. Burn at 2x and everyone comment say it work flawlessly on your XBox 360. I didn't try your other XBox 360 burn game for very long because it all SUCKS! J/k! But you do have too many Dynasty Style game. Well right now it working ok, the freeze is randomly. If it happen too much, Khen can decided if he want to return it before it too late. BTW you should try Alan Wake, it an awesome game. It also a new released XBox 360. I shouldn't have download it but it wasn't from Pirate Bay so I think it is ok. However, if we get caught again and get sued, I just tell them it you and you will go to Jail instead of me But probably last game I download from XBox 360, I always rent and burn game but the DVD Player I buy from this guy is fudge up. Sometime it work sometime it don't. I'm gonna try get my money back and buy another one, damn wasting money here again.

Did you make sure to run your isos you download through abgx and patch it? Even if you download iso from the internet you still have to patch all of them, otherwise they will get freezing such as black screen, not load, etc. This is especially true for newer released games. Also your Verbatims could be a problem, I actually checked and I burn all my games using 6x Verbatim and not 8x. I never tried 8x, not sure if it works or not. Like I said you need to test to see if the issue exists on perfect burns like my discs so you can rule out if it's media/iso related or not. I only have 3-4 Dynasty Warriors style games. :o Edited by Caim, May 24 2011, 04:27 AM.
