This is old news, but PS2 Emulator now with a lot of updates make the PS2 Emulator on the PC work almost like a real PS2 Emulator. What even better is that you can set the resolution to very high if your PC can handle it. You can also Freeze and Unload save game anytime. Also all PS2 Game .ISO will work.

http://pcsx2.net/ <-- Probably one of the best PS2 Emulator right now. All the games I try work almost flawlessly.

So far I download FFX, FFX-2 and Persona 4. Any good games recommendation?

True to that, one of the best game ever make for the PS2. It just a shame the game is so short and no sequel. This day it just RPG and sport. Only thing come close is Heavy Rain, but this Mystery Time Travel Solving is just so much cooler.

I don't really recall any good games for PS2. It's funny because I have downloaded over 150 PS2 games and burnt them all to DVDs, yet I only play like 10% of those.

Maybe Shadow of the Colossus? I haven't played it, but heard it was very good. It's like Legend of Zelda except more realistic.

One of the DVD cases I have downstairs contains over 150 PS2 games. I'm pretty sure you can just put the game DVD in and run it with PCSX2. No need to download anything!

And I have the PC version of Shadow of Destiny if you want it. The graphics are much sharper and cleaner on the PC version, and you can even plug in a USB controller like the PS3 or Xbox and it works with it. Definitely one of the best games of all time, and it doesn't even have any action at all! Too bad there was never a real sequel. The developer created a DS game with a time traveling storyline called Time Hollow, but it's completely 2D anime based. You may want to check that game out too.

You should get a TV though so you can play games on PS3 like Beyond Two Souls and The Last of Us. Especially Beyond Two Souls since it's like a new Heavy Rain game from the same developers.

I was planning to get a 27 Inch Monitor 2560 x 1400 Resolution with HDMI input instead, this way I can use it both as a Monitor and a TV for the PS3 game. I already bought a power USB Hub and a 2TB USB 3.0 to store a crazy amount of games in it.

Right now I'm still stuck with the 30 Inch Apple Monitor and don't know what to do. While I like the Monitor, it have no HDMI input to make Console Game work. It's on it way to dying though, there a few burn in spot on the right side already.

Maybe it will died next year and 27 Inch Monitor with High Resolution will go down in price. I'm going to play Shadow of Destiny on the PS2 again.

I recommend watching this guy's blind playthrough of Shadow of Destiny. It's quite funny of his reactions to a lot of things!

Also, this girl's playthrough of E.V.O - Search for Eden. One of the coolest SNES games of all time:

And I'm downloading Beyond Two Souls now. This game is going to very tight! B)

I prefer Kenshin better for Let play Shadow of Destiny. And E.V.O is a good game too. They try make a sequel Seaman and it was so dumb.

And Phen think Beyond Two Soul is really stupid, he play the Demo and no matter what decision you make you won't died and it result in all the same like there is only one path. The Last of Us is really good, but way too short.

Here what I have for PS2 so far.

1.) Final Fantasy X
2.) Final Fantasy X-2
3.) Final Fantasy XII
4.) Shadow of Destiny
5.) Persona 4
6.) Valkyrie Profile 2
7.) Kingdom Heart 2

Well, he did play the demo after all, so you can't really judge from that. Gamespot gave it a 9.0 rating and there's a lot more action involved than Heavy Rain.

If you like Heavy Rain games so much, why don't you try playing Jurassic Park: The Game? It's just like Heavy Rain but with a different plot and characters you can actually care about (except those that die in the game). Me and Jess played it and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread.

It's available for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3!

Fast forward to 7:00 to some action. The first part is just boring story talking.

Jurassic Park was really fun.
Also there's the Silent Hill series, the Room and 3 were really good too. I heard ICO and Shadow of Collossus is good but never played those.

Or:

1. Disgaea
2. Devil May Cry
3. Okami
4. Star Ocean 3
5. Resident Evil 4
6. Fatal Frame 1-3
7. Kingdom Hearts 2

I need to get new Ram soon because I really want to play FFX again.

Don't you already have 4GB of RAM? Why do you need more than 4GB to run FFX? Isn't that just a PS2 game emulated through a emulator?

Well you never know, did you try it out yet? 4GB is normal for a Mid Range computer. Ram isn't everything, need good Graphic Card is most important.

BTW, anyone getting PS4? I may, but there is hardly any games worthwhile on it except Watch Dog.

You're right, PS4 has no good games. Only games catered to the western fanbase, like first person shooters and open world, free roam games about crime. Plus, the graphics difference between PS3 and PS4 are minimal and not like PS2 and PS3. PS4 is still way underpowered compared to modern PCs with good GPUs.

The PS4 also has reports of high failure rates: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/how-serious-are-the-ps4-s-blue-light-of-death-and-broken-hardware-reports/1100-6416222/

Never buy anything on launch. Because the PS4 is sold out everywhere, everybody are asking ridiculous prices for them online, like $500-$600.

I'd rather buy a Wii U to play Monster Hunter.

Man you love Monster Hunter. I think they are gonna import Monster Hunter online to the PC soon. After that happen, I guess you play that game forever and don't have to waste money on Console Game anymore? :O

Yup, i already tried Dolphin and tried to play Zelda: Wind Waker and it was impossible. The graphics card is the one that you built into this computer and I think it's really good, but ram is only 4GB.
