Posts: 556 Group: Drake Member #292 Joined: Jun 30, 2012	Hi! I love drawing, and the DragonVale designs are so fun for me to work with. I hope y'all don't mind if I share my little doodles—and maybe other crafts if I ever get around to posting them. I thought I'd open up with the more recent additions to the park: Ruby Pollen Malachite For the most part these are just sketches. I might ink and color them later if I feel like it. Do y'all have any requests?

Posts: 58 Group: Drake Member #84 Joined: Mar 3, 2012	Awesome drawings. I'd make some, but trust me they wouldn't look like dragons. More accurately they probably wouldn't look like anything. My absolute favorite is regular old cold. Hes sort of matches the image my mind's eye defaults to when it envisions dragons in general without any specific description. You should do him if you get a chance!

Posts: 556 Group: Drake Member #292 Joined: Jun 30, 2012	Thanks guys! Here's the Cold dragon. I really like them because they have mustaches, and such strong jaws too. It makes them fun to draw. Also, here's a Current I drew back while I was trying to breed a second one. Though i guess since it's uncolored it could double as a basic water dragon. I liked how its eyes turned out. I like to draw the dragon I'm breeding for, especially if it takes a while. It helps me get comfortable with the design.

The Gold Olympus... is the bane of my existence. This dragon was just... a nightmare in perspective. I don't know what it was about the horns but I had the hardest time getting them to look right. Of your drawings, I like the ruby and the cold the best. Your skill is amazing. Do you use your artistic talents for a living or just a hobby? Like Darkralter, I can't draw well at all, so I won't try to draw the DV dragons but instead enjoy yours.

I'm beginning to think BF needs to do a paper version of Dragonvale and hire you to do all the artwork for it. These are seriously cool dragons. You make dragons that look boring in DV look awesome! I would love to see these dragons in animation, though how that would be done I don't know. The effect would need to be 2D of course. Could you do a rust dragon for us? I like Rust. Love! Love! Love! I like how the Quicksilver resembles an alligator in the water. Watching it swim has a cool kind of creepiness. Imagine running into a "log" that was actually one of these guys [EDIT]: McRaggedy, have you ever played / seen Okami? That's my favorite paper-style game that I've played so far, I have it on my PS2. We should make an iOS game featuring lemmy's paper style dragons, and name it Ryugami Haha. Because it's Rust. So much of Rust's design is in the coloring. Ryugami just sounds so cute! Edited by lemmyLoop, Oct 12 2012, 06:05 PM.
