So on Monday, we will be hitting the halfway point for gemstone dragons! I'm hoping for a pretty awesome dragon, especially excited for what it's egg and design will look like. Any guesses on what the combo will be? Mud seems to be a popular choice in the other thread and I agree completely.

I agree that Panlong, along with Opal, should be top priority. However, you will need to get to level 14 to breed either one. |

That is a great link you gave me, Ill be sure to check that out every so often (don't want to spoil too much since discovering non-limited Dragons is simply really fun). So Opal and Panlong are suggested to get? Opal = Mud + Lava. Since i hit 14 last night, I bred a water dragon and made a Habitat and they just finished. So I am making my Mud Dragon right now! Fortunately I have 2 Lava's ready to go. Panlong, according to the Sandbox = ideally Fog plus Lava. That means I need to make a Fog Dragon first. Let's hope I can pull that off and have breed time left to have the fortune of getting an Opal and Panlong, let alone couple of Panlongs! Fun fun fun, much to do i have. EDIT: the plus side, if my breeding fails, I do not yet own Blazing, Rain and Rainbow (Fog i will have already by then and Bone I recently got woohoo) so there is alot to be gained from trying this! ^^ That's the great thing about those early levels. So many dragons to breed. Enjoy it. It goes faster than you can know. |

It does indeed. I finally decided to pay for a few gems to get the epic breeding island and a few more nursery spots and my first lava and mud dragon are being romantic in the hopes of giving me an Opal! 4 tries and all Lava dragons haha, this will take me a while :S Same with my attempts to get a Fog dragon, 2 tries and both Rain ![]() Hm, guess I can do Rain + Lava just as well for a Panlong *ponders* Edited by Funkybacon, Oct 17 2012, 03:10 AM.

yes, you can have more than one of every dragon except Kairos. However, gemstone dragons cannot breed, so you can't breed two together to get more. Thus, you have to weigh the pros and cons. If you get more gem dragons, you get more gems. However, you lose that breeding time to breed other dragons you need. |

Ghost and 3rd Panlong coming! Looks longingly at Gold, Silver, Moon, Olympus, Current and Plasma. We'll get there one day. I might have to put some of my 5 Rainbows in the HC. |

Congrats magpac. If you would like to try for some of those epic dragons, you could use combos that give you a chance at more than one dragon at a time. It will usually have longer fails, but it allows you to work on two, or more, goals at once. For instance, you could use mud & steel/mine to try for ghost. It would also give you a chance at silver. I'm using paper & chrome so that I can work on ghost, silver, gold, & seasonal at the same time. Despite the long fails, I think it is worth it. |

I have my Opal dragon now, 3 Bonedragons and this weekend the Panlong ! As far as lucky weekends go: my lady got her opal at the same time, 2 bonedragons and instead of a Panlong - a bronze olympus! |

Gave up on getting a 2nd Ghost until after the 1st, threw in a Lava+Mud in the EBC last night and voila, a 3rd Opal for a display egg. I thought that one was going to be a pain. |
