Park Value

Anyone know how often your park value is updated? I keep one of every dragon on display in my park. 40 of them were level 10 and I had one each at levels 13, 12 and 11. All the rest are level 15. I decided to level all of them to 15. Out of curiosity I wanted to track what it did to my park value. Before leveling the 43 dragons up to 15 my value was $9,894,208,246. Since leveling them up my value in Game Center has not changed. It shows my value was "Earned: October 9, 2013".

It cost me 12 million or so in food to do all the leveling up. Still have 32 million or so in food left so I guess I will start working to level them to 17. I almost did this a few weeks ago. Sure glad I didn't since now it earns magic. Not to mention growing the food is getting my park to level 50.

It only gets updated once your value is higher than the previous one.

Hmm... Would have thought leveling up 43 dragons would have changed my park value.

One thing I didn't think of though, since the last time my park value updated I've spent over $1 billion on food. So I guess that would offset leveling up the dragons to some degree.

I think my park value actually went down. I guess it's due to all the coin I've spent on food.

Yeah I thought I read something like coins being worth more than treats if you buy them the expensive way.

Leveling to 17 definitely made a difference. I'm sitting at 14.8 million with a lot of dragons left to level up.

Converting coins to treats lowers your park value, feeding the treats back to a dragon raises your park value again, about 5% more than the value of the coins you used to buy food. So 1000 coins is worth nothing as food, but is worth 1050 coins when the food is fed to a dragon, which levels up (on average)

My park value has recently passed 20 billion :)

That doesn't seem right. I've spent about $3 billion on food but after feeding it to my dragons my park value is up over $5 billion.

OK, that's what the Wiki says for Park Value. I'll check next time I upgrade
