Is there a specific item you want, but can't find on your own? Want an NPC that wronged you to be dealt with? Is that monster over there too tough for you on your own? These are basic concepts for Missions, the backbone of the adventurer's economy. Any character is able to set up a mission, although there's no guarantee that someone will actually take you up on it. In order to set up a Mission, you must create a Mission Topic in the Mission section of The Vertex. Afterwards, you only need to wait until someone asks you about it! There is no specific form to fill out for missions. Just make sure that you name the mission, and use the name as the title of the thread. As for taking missions... that's a little more complex. In order for your character to take on a mission, you must not only post in that Mission thread stating that you wish to take on the mission it details, but you must also RP in the Vertex Station about meeting the mission's owner, and having your CHARACTER learn about what the mission entails. This can be a time to learn more about the mission for both you and your character, and give every character involved a bit of knowledge about each other before the fighting starts happening. Characters in a Guild can issue missions solely for their Guild, and entire guilds and teams can take on missions as well. |
