![]() ASCENT: The Rise Pre-Show (Airs Exclusively on evowrestling.com) ![]() ![]() ![]() The opening pyro explodes into the arena as ‘This Is the Time (Ballast)’ by Nothing More starts to play in the arena. The opening video for Ascent; featuring a fast-paced montage of EVO Wrestling’s top talents plays as shots of the live event’s crowd are spliced in. The announce table is shown with April Showers and Martin Zhou are panned past as the camera focuses on the ring. The bell rings three times and EVO Wrestling’s ASCENT begins. ![]() ![]() ![]() vs ![]() ![]() ![]() The Gato, Blu and Casar Fuentes vs. Lazarus Veil, Jhett Black and Daisuke Sho Jhett Black and Blu were in the ring to start, but Daisuke Sho blind sided Blu and told Jhett Black that he had it. Blu slingshotted Daisuke into a The Gato elbow, who then flipped over the ropes and hit a splash onto him. Blu quickly tagged back in and took a few more shots at Daisuke before he tagged in Casar Fuentes. Fuentes took a kick to the ribs, which allowed Jhett Black to tag in. Casar Fuentes and Jhett Black measured each other for a bit, and Casar Fuentes cleared Jhett Black to the floor. The Gato and Blu shoved the other heels to the floor, and The Gato hit a dive to the outside. In the ring, Casar Fuentes got crotched on the top rope due a shove by Daisuke Sho. The Viscious made rapid tags and isolated Casar Fuentes in their corner. Jhett Black jawed with Blu and The Gato, which allowed Casar Fuentes to tag in The Gato. Daisuke Sho also tagged in, and The Gato dominated the offense. He splashed Jhett Black on the outside, and hit a nice suplex on Daisuke. The match started to break down as everybody ended up in the ring. Blu hit a spinebuster on Daisuke. Casar Fuentes hit a piledriver on Lazarus Veil, and Jhett Black hit Casar Fuentes with a powerslam. The Gato hit a few offensive moves on Jhett Black, but Lazarus Veil interfered with an attempt on the top rope, and Jhett Black hit him with a spear for the win as Daisuke came off the top rope onto The Gato for the win at 13:31. Winners: Lazarus Veil, Jhett Black and Daisuke Sho ![]() ![]() ![]() vs ![]() ![]() ![]() Flower Petals, Nikki Yoshida and Vu Song vs. Madison Veil, Samantha Black & Hiroki Sho Nikki Yoshida and Veil go at it after Flower drops from the apron. Nikki Yoshida works Veil over and gets a 2 count with a back roll. Song tags in and keeps control of Veil. Song nails a dropkick for another pin attempt. Song keeps control but misses a splash in the corner. Samantha Black tags in and works over Song. She hits the Rikishi splash and Song rolls to the floor. Samantha nails a dropkick through the ropes. Nikki Yoshida and Hiroki get involved at ringside. Flower is in control of Sho. Nikki Yoshida tags in and keeps Sho down. Song tags right in for more offense on Sho. Song with a 2 count. Flower tags back in and keeps Sho grounded. They counter each other and Veil drops Flower. Sho goes for a tag and has to kick Flower away. Veil and Nikki Yoshida get the tags. Veil unloads and kicks Flower back into the barrier. Veil splashes Nikki Yoshida and hits a neckbreaker. Veil drops a big elbow. Nikki Yoshida ducks a Fame-asser. More back and forth. Veil blocks a somoan drop. Veil counters with a big DDT for a 2 count as Flower makes the save. Sho kicks Flower out of the ring. Song comes in and gets sent right back out. Black runs the ropes and leap out on Nikki Yoshida and Song. The end comes when Sho nails the Hiroki Sho Spike (Canadian Destroyer) on Nikki Yoshida for the win at 12.44. ![]() SIRENS 2, Airing on Esquire TV, 8PM PCT ![]() ![]() ![]() The EVO announce team is introduced to cheers, boos and cheers, and soon after, the night’s action begins. The opening pyro explodes into the arena as Arch Enemy’s “Under Black Flags We March” starts to play in the arena. The opening video for Sirens; featuring a fast-paced montage of EVO Wrestling’s top female talents plays as shots of the live event’s crowd are spliced in. The announce table is shown with April Showers and Martin Zhou are panned past as the camera focuses on the ring. The bell rings three times and EVO Wrestling’s SIRENS begins. ![]() vs ![]() Jessica Moore vs Joy LeRue Jessica ends up taking control and keeping Joy grounded. Jessica applies the Boston Crab on Joy. Joy reaches the ropes and Jessica breaks it off in the nick of time but proceeds to start punching Joy. The referee has to grab Jessica off of Joy. Jessica starts to argue with the ref which allows Joy to get up and hit a spear on Jessica and now she starts to punch Jessica non stop. Joy with more offense and a big clothesline in the corner. Joy hits a neckbreaker and a DDT for a 2 count. The crowd is chanting “Let’s go Joy” which is seems to have a positive effect on Joy. As Joy turns around she runs into a kick from Jessica and goes down for a 2 count. Jessica is frustrated now. Jessica puts Joy in the Forge Breaker and starts to taunt Joy on trying to get out of it and starts laughing. Joy reaches for the rope and grabs it. Jessica gets up and starts to taunt Joy. Joy is grabbing her arm and the referee is asking her if she wants the match to be stopped. Joy refuses and Jessica proceeds to start kicking her arm and putting Joy into various submissions. As Joy is trying to get back up Jessica superkicks her and gets a close 2 count. Jessica with a slam for a 1 count. Joy counters and takes out Jessica’s knee. Joy works Jessica over over and takes her down by the hair for a pin attempt. Joy tries to get Jessica back up but her arm isn’t strong enough. Jessica takes advantage and locks Joy in the Forge Breaker. Joy is holding on but Jessica snaps her arm back and breaking it which causes a screaming Joy to tap out. Winner: Jessica Moore The referee tries to grab Jessica’s arm to raise it but Jessica walks over to the announcer’s desk and grabs a chair and a microphone. She reenters the ring and sits Joy up against the turnbuckle. Jessica: Joy you just bit off more than you could chew. You wanted to fight for Mika but you didn’t succeed. Your arm is now broken. Whenever you want to fight for someone you give it everything you have. I know you gave it your all and that wasn’t nearly good enough. Jessica: It’s now my time to finish you and put you into the hospital. With that Jessica sets the chair up against Joy’s face and runs over to the opposite side of the ring. She runs across the ring and dropkicks the chair which connects with Joy and she drops to the mat. Jessica picks up the chair and starts to give Joy chair shots across the back. Security is forced to separate Jessica from Joy as the EVO Wrestling Medical staff attends to Joy. Jessica leaves the ring chanting that she destroyed Joy LaRue and Mika Forge. ![]() vs ![]() Ruby Red vs Silk We see Ruby Red backstage, a smirk spread over her alluring features. Ruby approaches the black curtain before her music thumps over the speakers, cuing her entrance. Red strolls down the rampway, rolling her eyes at the fans. Ruby receives a mixed reaction with some catcalls whistling here and there. After entering the ring, Silk’s music hits and she gets a far more positive reception. Silk acknowledges the fans as she makes her way down to the squared circle. Silk slides into the ring. Before Silk can rise to her feet, Ruby charges her and begins to stomp away at her. The referee pulls Ruby away and calls for the bell. The bell instantly rings, signaling that the match is legally underway. Ruby yells toward Silk, trying to anger her. It works. Silk shoots to her feet and dashes toward Ruby. Ruby is too slow to react and gets pummeled by forearms and punches. Silk with kicks in the corner as the referee counts now. Silk climbs up with right hands in the corner. Ruby turns it around and drops Silk’s face into the turnbuckle. The crowd cringes. Red with a big clothesline in the corner. The fans start to chant for Silk. Ruby with another big clothesline in the corner. Red yells out to the fans and asks them if they like what they’re seeing. We get dueling chants for both Ruby Red and Silk, while Ruby whips Silk hard into the opposite corner. Ruby nails a huge chop and covers for a two count. Red with another kick and some trash talking. Ruby with forearm shots, knocking Silk down. The fans are behind the match, enjoying it, but growing frustrated. Ruby with more offense, sending Silk back to the mat for another two count. Red keeps Silk grounded now. Ruby keeps control and slams Silk hard over the top rope for a two count. Ruby keeps Silk down with another headlock. Red with a back suplex for yet another pin attempt. Silk is dazed, however she charges at Ruby, but Ruby catches her with a big boot. Jeers for Ruby Red begin to grow, not liking the one-sided contest. Ruby tosses her arms up, swaying her body seductively, taunting and laughing. Out of nowehere, Silk climbs to her knees and rolls Red up from behind. Silk scores a near pinfall. Both women rise and lock up. Silk gains the advantage now. Silk nails an impressive Tornado DDT that sends Red to the center of the ring. Silk goes for the cover, but only gets a two count. Silk shakes her head in disappointment. Silk pulls Ruby to her feet to keep control. Silk hits a suplex. The crowd begins to cheer for the change of momentum. Ruby writhes on the canvas in pain. Ruby crawls to her feet. Silk greets her with a kick to the midsection. Silk begins to set Red up for The Silk Screen (Implant Buster). Ruby strikes at Silk’s sides with closed fists. Silk backs off, trying to rid of the pain. Ruby attempts a clothesline on Silk, but Silk ducks at the last second. Ruby connects with the ropes and sprints back in Silk’s direction. Silk ducks once again, but Red tactfully drops behind Silk and rolls her up. The fans roar in shock, while Ruby clutches a handful of Silk’s tights to get the three count at 12:11. Winner: Ruby Red ![]() vs ![]() Echidna vs Candice Shields In the ring the two women traded blows until Candice was tossed to the outside. Echidna whipped Candice into the steel steps. Candice tried to block Echidna with a boot but Echidna hits a spinning clothesline. Echidna throws Candice beack inside the ring. Echidna continues to dominate until Candice hits a pele kick out of nowhere which stuns Echidna. Candice bounces across the rope and hits a spear which takes them both to the ground. Candice is keeping Echidna on the ground to avoid Echidna’s power. Candice starts to trash talk Echidna. She goes to perform a somersault leg drop but Echidna moves and hits her with a dropkick of her own for a two count. Echidna with a neckbreaker. Candice tried to hit Tough Love but can’t get Echidna and picks Candice up and hits a powerbomb for a two count. Echidna and Candice traded punches. Echidna gained the advantage with clotheslines and chops. Candice went to the top to hit a wheel kick but Echidna hits her with a back fist stunning her. Echidna takes Candice off the top rope and hits a Deathless Driver. As she is preparing to pin Candice a “fan” jumps over the barrier as Echidna goes to pin Candice. The “fan” puts Candice’s leg on the bottom rope and alerts the referee. The “fan” gains Echidna’s attention who gets up and starts screaming at her. The distraction allows Candice to roll Echidna up for the three at 7:55. Winner: Candice Shields Candice jumps up and down celebrating her win as the “fan” joins her and joins in on the celebration. Echidna starts to get up but Candice and the “fan” flee to the back. ![]() vs vs ![]() Farrah Farris vs Dixie vs Masina Masina is out first to a large pop from the crowd. Masina makes her way down to the ring, nodding to the crowd at ringside. As Masina emerges into the ring, Farrah Farris’ music hits. Each week, her reaction from the masses grows louder. Farrah blows an array of kisses to the fans before skipping down the rampway, clapping hands along the way. With both Farrah and Masina in the ring, they look to the stage as Dixie comes out last. Dixie strides down the ramp, a confident look on her face. She motions to herself as the winner of the undecided movie role. Dixie climbs into the ring as all women walk to and congregrate in the center of the squared circle. The referee moves out of their way and tosses his hand up in the air to motion for the bell. The match immediately kicks off. Dixie begins to take the brunt of offense in the opening minute. Farrah Farris and Masina take it to her, hitting her with different combinations of kicks and jabs, before finishing her off with a Flapjack DDT combination. The crowd roared for Farris and Masina as they made their way to their feet. Both women acknowledged that it was time for them to get into combat, as they locked up. They struggled, but the veteran Masina gained the upperhand, tying Farrah into a side headlock. Masina dropped down onto the mat, crashing Farrah’s chest into the canvas. Masina held the lock, tightening her grip. Dixie, however, was stirring. Dixie hit the back of Masina’s head with a closed fist, breaking the hold. Masina rolled away, but Dixie yanked her to her feet by her hair. Dixie began to scream wildly that the role was hers. Masina hit her with an uppercut, before toe kicking her through the middle rope and onto the outside of the ring. Dixie took a hard bump as the fans cheered. Masina turned but was surprised by an up and ready Farrah Farris. Farrah sprinted and within a matter of seconds, she connected The Farris Wheel (Spinning Wheel Kick) on the unsuspecting Masina. The fans gasped, wondering if the match would end here. Farrah hooked Masina’s leg, but only got a two count. Masina rolled away and onto the outside, as Farrah stood to full height. Dixie met Masina at ringside and the two exchanged a series of blows. They continued to fight back and forth. However, both women were caught off guard by a shouting Farrah from within the ring. Both turned in her direction, as Farrah sprinted at the ropes, and hit a Suicide Dive. Farrah connected onto both women as they went crashing down onto the outside mat, all hurt from the maneuver. The fans began to chant “this is awesome” as the women stirred slowly, but none began to rise. The referee began to count as a warning to the three women. Dixie was the first to rise, using the barricade as support. Masina followed. Dixie hit a stiff forearm, before whipping Masina into the apron and rolling her into the ring. The count stopped as Dixie climbed onto the apron. Farrah was now up and grabbed at Dixie’s ankle. Farris ripped Dixie off the side of the ring, causing her chin to connect with the apron. The crowd cringed. Farrah dashed at Dixie in a lowered posture, spearing her into the outside turnbuckle post. The fans began to cheer for Farrah as she gripped Dixie by the hair and rolled her in under the bottom rope. Masina received Dixie and tugged her up from the mat. However, Dixie was ready for her and pushed Masina away. The masses gasped as Dixie hit a hard Tornado Clothesline, sending Masina to the canvas, before Masina rolled under the bottom rope and onto the outside of the ring to tend to the pain. Farrah slid in and clubbed Dixie on the back of her head. Dixie dropped to one knee as Farrah sprinted past her and connected with the ropes. Farrah ran back and nailed a dropkick to the face of Dixie. Farrah scored a near pinfall while the crowd shouting in disappointment. Farrah shook her head in frustration, as she rose to her feet, pulling Dixie up with her. Dixie nails a hard jab to the face of Farrah, knocking her off stance. Dixie then follows it by setting Farris up nicely for the Whistling Dixie (Scorpion Death Drop). The fans began to chant “no” repeatedly, but much to their displeasure, Dixie nails it to perfection, laying Farrah out in the center of the ring. Dixie quickly pushes Farris onto her back for the cover. Masina slides under the bottom rope, but is too late, as the referee finishes the three count for Dixie at 18:38. Winner: Dixie Dixie begins to celebrate in the ring. The fans jeer loudly, disgusted by her victory. Dixie stands to full height, just before she begins to jump around the ring excitedly. Masina kneels beside Farrah, tending to her friend, as Dixie looks to both of them. Dixie screams at Masina, telling her that the role belongs to her. Masina shakes her head in awe at Dixie’s terrible sportsmanship. As Dixie continues to celebrate in the ring, Masina helps Farrah up into a seated position. Just then, an unfamiliar song begins to hit the speakers. The fans redirect their attention to the top of the ramp where Chris Hemsworth is seen making a surprise appearance. Hemsworth gets a pop from the fans. The arena quiets down as Dixie leans over the top rope, waving to her future co-star. ![]() Chris Hemsworth: I guess a congratulations is in order, Dixie. You came out here and showed EVO that you clearly want the role! It was a hard fought match and one I think could potentially steal the night. However, I’m afraid I have some .. troubling .. news. Dixie is seen holding her hands up in confusion. Hemsworth looks around at the arena, as the fans murmur amongst themselves, unaware of what the news could be. The camera cuts to show Masina and Farrah standing against the opposite turnbuckle, not knowing what was happening either. Chris raises the microphone upward, as he lightly begins to pace at the top of the ramp while speaking. Chris Hemsworth: You see, what I was trying to tell you, Dixie, aswell as Farrah and Masina, is that I wasn’t going to have the role settled by you three competing physically for it; that’s not how Hollywood works! There is a MUCH more intricate process in selecting a leading lady! The once happy expression on Dixie’s face turns into rage, as she throws her weight around the ring, flailing her arms and pushing her hands through her hair in disbelief. DIxie looks around at the crowd, who are liking the direction of Chris’ announcement. Farrah and Masina continue to talk amongst eachother, as Dixie finally stands still in the center of the ring and Chris cautiously continues. Chris Hemsworth: I guess what I’m trying to say is .. upon further reevaluation, I’ve decided to go in another direction. I’ve decided not to select you, Dixie, nor select Farrah or Masina. However, the woman I HAVE selected is contracted to EVO as originally desired by the production company AND myself .. The masses are in awe as Farrah and Masina appear perplexed. Dixie is seen with fists clenched at her sides, fuming with furiosity. In that second, Chris steps aside and motions for someone to come out and stand with him. The woman’s music hits and the fans erupt with awe, never expecting this decision. ![]() Faith strides to the center of the stage, greeting Chris Hemsworth with a delicate sidehug and kiss on the cheek. Faith peers around, a wide grin spreading over her face, as she sends a small wave to Dixie. Dixie lets out a piercing scream before dropping to her knees and hitting the canvas with her palms. The throngs of fans cheer wildly during Dixie’s meltdown. Farrah and Masina can’t help but giggle and begin to laugh in unison, trying to hold it back, but are clearly unable to. Dixie shoots a glare in their direction and raises to charge at them, but both women drop to the canvas and roll out of the ring in time. The camera shows Chris Hemsworth and Faith exiting the stage together, as Dixie is left with her shattered dreams in the center of the ring. ![]() vs ![]() SIRENS CHAMPIONSHIP: (C)Lacey VanTrapp vs Shiloh Shiloh pie faces and slaps Lacey VanTrapp and Lacey VanTrapp runs Shiloh into the corner and connects with a shoulder. Lacey VanTrapp is sent to the apron and Shiloh sends Lacey VanTrapp into the ring post. Shiloh gets a near fall. Shiloh sends Lacey VanTrapp into the turnbuckles. Shiloh puts Lacey VanTrapp in the turnbuckles and then hits a double stomp to the midsection. Lacey VanTrapp is put on the bottom rope and Shiloh with a double stomp for a near fall. Shiloh with a cross arm choke on Lacey VanTrapp. Shiloh pulls Lacey VanTrapp to the mat and then Shiloh with forearms and punches. Shiloh slams Lacey VanTrapp’s head into the mat for a near fall. Lacey VanTrapp with shots to the midsection and Shiloh chokes Lacey VanTrapp in the corner. Shiloh slaps Lacey VanTrapp and stomps on Lacey VanTrapp’s back. Lacey VanTrapp takes Shiloh to the corner and stomps away. Lacey VanTrapp with a takedown and a 2 count. Lacey VanTrapp with another roll up. Lacey VanTrapp trips Shiloh into the ropes and works her over with knees. Shiloh with a big shot that sends Lacey VanTrapp to the mat out of nowhere. Shiloh brings it back in for a 2 count. Shiloh argues with the referee and goes back to work on Lacey VanTrapp. Shiloh whips Lacey VanTrapp hard into the corner and she goes down. Shiloh with a big scoop slam and another 2 count. Shiloh with two more slams, some trash talking and a 2 count. Lacey VanTrapp finally comes back and they both tumble out of the ring. Lacey VanTrapp kicks Shiloh and goes for a head scissors off the apron but Shiloh catches her and slings her head into the barrier. Shiloh takes Lacey VanTrapp to the top but Lacey VanTrapp counters and turns it into a powerbomb. Lacey VanTrapp with a 2 count that was botched by the referee. Lacey VanTrapp comes back and slams Shiloh on her face for another close 2 count. Shiloh counters with a big slam of her own for 2. Lacey VanTrapp ends up on the floor but comes right back in. Lacey VanTrapp with knees to the back. Lacey VanTrapp with knees to the head now. Lacey VanTrapp suplexes Shiloh in from the apron and covers for a 2 count. Lacey VanTrapp with more offense in the corner now. Shiloh goes to the floor for a breather. Shiloh trips Lacey VanTrapp on the apron. Part of the crowd sings Adam Rose’s theme song. Lacey VanTrapp messes with a few fans but Lacey VanTrapp rams her back into the barrier. Lacey VanTrapp goes for a move on the steps but Shiloh tosses her off of them and into the barrier. Shiloh brings it back in the ring for a 2 count. She slams Lacey VanTrapp’s face into the mat a few times. Shiloh with a suplex into a pin for a 2 count. Shiloh keeps control and nails a backbreaker. Shiloh holds Lacey VanTrapp over her knee and stretches her. Shiloh goes no and tosses Lacey VanTrapp back to the floor. Lacey VanTrapp comes in and makes a comeback with the Trapp Door (Cradel DDT) for the 1-2-3 at 15:04. Winner and STILL SIRENS CHAMPION: Lacey VanTrapp The EVO signage runs across the screen and the show fades to black. |

It focuses on the important matches of the night, and the rivalries that will come to a head tonight. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The EVO announce team is introduced to cheers, boos and cheers, and soon after, the night’s action begins. The opening pyro explodes into the arena as ‘Re-Education (Through Labor)’ by Rise Against starts to play in the arena. The opening video for Rise – featuring a fast-paced montage of EVO Wrestling’s top talents plays as shots of the live event’s crowd are spliced in. The announce table is shown with April Showers, Bart Best and Martin Zhou is panned past as the camera focuses on the ring. The bell rings three times and EVO Wrestling’s RISE: EVO:LUTION begins. ![]() The EVO-tron shows images of the live crowd as its camera streak across the arena. It spot-focuses on the many celebrity guests that are usually in attendance – Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck, Harrison Ford & Calista Flockhart, Anthony Bourdain, Helen Hunt, Cheryl Hines, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Reese Witherspoon, Larry David, Heidi Klum, Chris Hemsworth and a few more minor and very minor celebrities are in the crowd. ![]() vs vs ![]() RISE Championship: (C) Zack Lowery vs Fiery vs Filthy Fiery drops Filthy first with a big right hand. Fiery tosses Filthy out of the ring and Lowery goes after Fiery with kendo stick shots across the back and stomach. They lock up and Lowery takes Fiery down with a headlock. They get back to their feet and as Lowery bounces off the ropes Filthy hits him across the back with a chair shot across the back. Fiery throws Filthy into the ring and they start exchanging punches which proceeds to submission holds. Filthy gains the upper hand and is the first to his feet. As he turns around Lowery throws a chair at him and jumps off the rope dropkicking the chair. Lowery locks Fiery in a sharpshooter but Fiery makes it to the ropes. Lowery with more offense. Filthy comes in and Lowery ends up sending him out. Fiery hits Lowery with a punch across the jaw with a pair of brass knuckles, which draws blood from Lowery’s mouth. He locks Lowery in a crossface in the center of the ring when it appears Lowery is about to tap out when Filthy comes in with a chair shot. Lowery goes outside to the ring as Filthy tosses Filthy across the ring and hits a corner splash for a two count. Fiery grabs a kendo stick and Filthy grabs a chair. They each take shots trying to hit the other but to no avail. Fiery throws his kendo stick as Filthy which catches him off guard and hits a running missile dropkick for a close two count. Fans chant “holy shit” due to the sheer impact of the blow as Asher King brings Peacekeeper back in and works him over. Asher King with kicks and punches in the corner as the referee counts. Asher King hits a diving kick off the apron onto Peacekeeper but smacks his own head on the steel. They come back in the ring and Asher King waits for Peacekeeper to get up in the corner. Asher King is dazed and runs but Peacekeeper catches him in a powerbomb for a close 2 count. The referee keeps checking on Asher King and Graves is talking about how he has a look in his eyes. Peacekeeper comes over and hits a bunch of big shots to the head, knocking Asher King back down. Peacekeeper goes back to work on Asher King and knocks him into the ropes with an uppercut. The referee backs Peacekeeper off and checks on Asher King but Peacekeeper goes right back to beating on Asher King’s face and head. Only then ‘Personal Jesus’ by Marilyn Manson blared as Peacekeeper turned to look up the ramp. The fans go wild as he waits, realizing Lassiter is coming. But – this gave Asher the opportunity to get his barings on the situation. When Lassiter went for him, suddenly Asher powered out, shoving Peacekeeper across the ring with a suprising burst of strength. Giving him enough distance to pick up a head of steam and take Peacekeeper out with the Ash Compactor! Then Asher hooks the leg.. 1.. 2... 3 at the 14:08 mark! Afanasi makes it to the bottom rope and the hold is broken. The Shiruken regroups while the referee counts. The Shiruken comes back in but Enzo DeWitt slams him. Enzo DeWitt scrambles back to the floor and fans boo. Enzo DeWitt follows and slams his face in the announce table and the apron. They bring it back in with Enzo DeWitt in control. The Shiruken manages to drop Enzo DeWitt’s ribs over the top rope. The Shiruken splashes Enzo DeWitt and sends him out to the floor. Enzo DeWitt fights but The Shiruken drops him with a spinning heel kick. Enzo DeWitt nails a belly to belly suplex. Ninja goes for the senton but The Shiruken puts his knees up. By his side is the reigning, defending EVO Sirens Champion and his wife; Lacey VanTrapp. Behind the two, arms crossed and ever silent, is the 2x former Ascent Champion; The Shiruken. Peter Quick: Don’t you worry, Shirkey. I’m gonna get me a piece of Akira Ng tonight, and in the process, bring home the Ascent Championship to Team Quick. The Shiruken just turns his head toward Peter Quick, and shakes it in disbelief. Lacey vanTrapp: No one calls us that, sweetie. In fact, ‘we’ aren’t really a thing. Ioani came out with a springboard headbutt and a springboard moonsault. He got the better of both Cole and Myers with a fancy headscissors move and then hit the tag in to Loto as Myers tried to put distance between the two of them. Loto hit a Michinoku Driver on Myers, then went for a pin for the two and a half count. But – Myers retaliated, regaining control as he landed a number of blows on Loto. Only for Loto to power out and shove Myers into a corner, when Cole blind tagged himself into the match and then walked up, looking eye to eye with Loto. The two big men staring eachother down. The two men lock up as Loto takes control, turning it into a side slam as he lifted Cole off his feet and dropped him to the mat. Cole got up and ducked a big clothesline from Loto, only for Loto to turn and be hit with a horrifying running boot. Cole then went for a pin, only to hit the two count as Ioani broke up the fall. Loto beat down Cole again and again. Then he whipped Cole into the ropes, only for Ioani to tag himself in blindly. Loto looked to Ioani in surprise, before stepping out. And Ioani began an offense on Cole, Cole went for another boot. But Ioani ducked it and caught him with a superkick! But that only dazed the large man, as he stumbled around the place. Ioani then nailed a flying forearm.. and then another.. and one more for good measure before finally toppling the big man. He went for a pin.. 1... 2.. 2 and a half! And Cole kicked out! Ioani couldn’t believe it. Ioani went over to tag Loto, but Cole was playing possum and went for a rollup! 1.. 2... 2 and a half! Ioani was in shock, raising up only to walk into the Blackout! Cole then proceeded to tag Myers in. Myers rushed in and nailed a cheap punch at Loto. Causing Loto to fall off the apron for a minute. Then he turned and began assaulting the fallen Ioani. Loto rushed back in and began attacking Myers, as the referee tried to get him seperated. Meanwhile Ioani rose up only to get clubbed in the skull with a lead pipe from Cole! Myers then fell into the cover while Loto was distracted, and the referee turned.. 1.. 2.. 3.. Loto couldn’t believe it! There were new EVO Tag Team Champions crowned at the 10:26 mark! The match came to a close as Myers and Black backed up the ramp with gold in hand, celebrating their victory and their new found title win. Peter Quick beats Akira Ng back to the mat and stomps on him on the apron. They trade shots with Akira Ng on the apron. Peter Quick knocks Akira Ng to the floor with a shoulder. Peter Quick poses in the ring. Akira Ng makes it back in before the 6 count and knocks Peter Quick down. Akira Ng takes control but Peter Quick blocks the bulldog. Akira Ng hits the big slam and then an elbow drop. ‘Breathe’ by Prodigy starts to play and Peter Quick comes out from the backstage area. Akira Ng watches as Peter Quick walks down to ringside. Peter Quick blocks the samoan drop and headbutts Akira Ng to the mat from the top. Peter Quick leaps with a crossbody but Akira Ng catches him and rolls through. Akira Ng turns that into an Attitude Adjustment but Peter Quick lands on his feet and nails a kick. Peter Quick hits a huge uppercut for a 2 count. Peter Quick goes for the Neutralizer but Akira Ng counters. Peter Quick counters that and lands on his feet and hits another kick again. Akira Ng hits a kick of his own. Peter Quick goes to the top but Akira Ng climbs up and meets him. Akira Ng nails a superplex and lays out Peter Quick. Akira Ng points to Peter Quick as he pulls in Peter Quick and then nails Redemption (Spinning Sit-out Powerbomb) and cover the unconscious Shiruken for the 1-2... foot on the ropes! Akira Ng lifts up Peter Quick for Redemption again, but Peter Quick slides out of it and right into a Quicksilver DDT! Peter Quick covers, but Akira Ng gets his foot under the ropes. As Peter Quick lifts up Akira Ng again, Akira Ng retreats out of the ring. Peter Quick follows. Peter Quick & Akira Ng start to exchange punches, with Akira Ng retreating up the ramp. Peter Quick takes the advantage with right hand after right hand as the ref gets to 5 in his count. Akira Ng falls over the barracade and into the crowd after a big right hand from Peter Quick. Peter Quick hops the barracade and mounts Akira Ng as the ref gets to 7. Quick sees and hears the ref’s counting,a nd starts to go back to the ring, but Akira Ng grabs Peter Quick’s leg, and holds on for dear life as the ref’s count gets to 10, ending the match at 16:22. Winner: Double Count Out (and STILL ASCENT CHAMPION: Akira Ng) Peter Quick looks down at Akira Ng grabbing his leg and realizes that Akira Ng got them counted out on purpose. Peter Quick tosses Akira Ng onto the announce table as April Showers, Bart Best and Martin Zhou move for cover. Peter Quick jums up on the announce table as the crowd starts to cheer in realization of what is coming. The crowd pops as Peter Quick just shrugs and then nails a second Quicksilver DDT to Akira Ng, smashing the announce table into pieces! The crowd starts a ‘Holy [bleep]’ chant as Peter Quick smiles looking down at the carnage outside the ring. The show goes to commercial. ![]() ![]() ![]() As the show comes back from break, sounds of struggle are heard just before the camera cuts in showing Stan ‘Filthy’ Roch exchanging punches with Jethroe ‘Fiery’ Cross. Lefts and rights are exchanged without and defense as the two fight their way across the backstage area. Filthy lands a big knee to Fiery, and then Fiery drops to ocunter with a low blow! Head of Security; Walter Daine and three of his staff try to break the two apart, but are pushed away as the two Texans continue to fight. Fiery kicks the exit door open and starts to pull Filthy up the stairs by the hair. After a few knees, Fiery pulls Filthy up at the top of the stair. Fiery: Ah’m gonna Double Cross (Rock Bottom) yer worthless ass down these stairs and out of MY GOD [BLEEP] company! As Fiery starts to lift up Filthy for the Double Cross, Filthy slides out of the hold and lands behind Fiery! Fiery turns arond just as Filthy lunges and clotheslines Fiery (and himself) off the top step of the stairs! Both men tumble down the stairs in a sickening series of thuds, and smash down at the end of the stairwell, both not moving. Walter Daine immediately starts yelling for EMTs as he sees two pools of blood starting to gather beneath their heads. The camera quickly cuts out. ![]() vs ![]() EVO World Championship: (C) The Other vs. The Second The Other makes his way out after a promo video for this next match for the EVO World Championship. The arena lights up as The Other makes his way out. Fans chant for The Second before he makes his entrance. The Second gets the big pyro and comes out to a pop. They finally lock up and The Other takes it to the corner. They tangle into the other corner and the referee breaks them up. The Other works The Second over with punches and headbutts now. The Second fights back out of the corner. The Second nails chops but The Other just stares at him. The Second slaps The Other and The Other unloads on him. The Second comes back with a high elbow. The Second counters again and hits chops in the corner. The Other gets whipped into the corner but comes right out of it with a huge clothesline. The Other yells that this is his house. The Other with a high elbow and a 2 count. The Second turns it around and goes for a headlock. The Other reverses the headlock and takes back control. The Other works The Second over and keeps him grounded now. The Second fights to his feet and nails a dropkick. The Other goes to the apron and The Second knocks him off with a kick. The Second kicks The Other in the gut again. The Other charges and knocks The Second off the apron, sending him flying into a cameraman. The Other comes to the floor and stomps away on The Second. The Other rolls him back in for a 2 count. More offense from The Other now. The Other charges in the corner but goes shoulder first into the ring post. The Second makes a comeback now. The Second goes to the top and nails a big right hand as fans pop. The Other ducks and slams The Second on his face twice for a 2 count. The Second fights back with chops. The Other runs over him with a clothesline. The Second gets his knees up for the back splash from The Other. The Second nails an enziguri. The Second with a 2 count. The Second keeps control and goes to the top but The Other cuts him off. The Other climbs up but The Second fights him off. The Other fires back and goes for a superplex but The Second knocks him to the mat. The Other runs right back and nails a nasty jawbreaker from the top for a close 2 count. The Second nails a bulldog. The Second goes for a spear but The Other drops out of the way, and The Second goes crashing into the turnbuckle. The Second gets up and The Other slams him for a 2 count. The Other with more offense in the corner. He nails the running splash and The Second drops. The Other tells The Second this is goodbye and goes for another splash but The Second turns it around. The Second with powerslam. The Second with a 2 count. They fight on the apron now. The Other drops The Second face first and rolls him over for a 2 count. The Other locks in The Jock-Lock (Undertaker’s Hell’s Gate Triangle Choke)! The Second easily lifts The Other up over his head and hits The Dominator! The three men start to rain down forearms and punches onto The Second as the ref calls for the disqualification at 17:31. But Akira Ng nails The First from behind, and a moment later, Nathan Myers and Cloe Black are up and beating down The First. Nathan Myers holds up the First and Akira Ng holds up The Second as The Other and Cole Black takes unprotected shots at the fother-son duo. The crowd starts a deafening boo as Nathan Myers nails The First with Cash Out (Rampaiger) and Akira Ng nails The Second with Redemption (Spinning Sit-out Powerbomb)! The crowd starts to throw objects into the ring as Cole Black nails The First with Black King’s Crown and The Other lifts up The Second and nails The Other Side (Razor’s Edge)! The four men celebrate in the ring, raising each other’s hand’s in the air in a symbol of victory as the show goes off the air. The camera fades to black as the show ends. The EVO sign-off runs across the screen and then the camera fades to black. |
