Zack Lowery is seen walking backstage. He travels down the hallway to Farrah Farris' locker room door, before hesitating. With a shake of his head, he walked towards the door, as if he were on a mission. Zack goes to knock, but hesitates again, his hands curling into fist but pausing in mid-dair. Sighing, Zack finally knocks.

'I'm coming, one second!'

Posted Image

An angelic voice called from inside the quarters, until it swung open mere moments later. There, standing in a silk robe was the dazzling Farrah Farris. Her skin was damp, her cheeks a rosy pink. Her blonde locks were wet, cascading down the right side of her shoulder. She shed a small smile upon revelation that it was Zack at her door.

Farrah Farris: I'm sorry! I just got out of the shower a few minutes ago. What's up? Do you wanna' come in?

Zack tries not to look at Farrah too long, but is amazed at how great she looks in her robe. Farrah lingers in the doorway slightly, the smile still beaming from her face. She enjoyed Zack's company, so despite her being busy after showering, she had no problem inviting him in for conversation. Zack cleared his throat and began to speak, trying to redirect his eyes back to hers.

Zack Lowery: I just wanted to come by and see how you were doing after your match against Jessica. I was also wondering if you would possibly want to come by this gym I go to? I have a few friends I work out with and ..

Zack stops mid-sentence, just completely drawn in by her beauty. Farrah looks at him with a puzzled expression on her face. Farris tilted her head to the right, realizing that Zack seemed somewhat nervous. Farrah reached out and brushed her arm down the length of arm.

Farrah Farris: Yeah?

Zack Lowery: Farrah, I see great potential in you and I'm going to need help taking down The InFamous.

It was abrupt. Farrah was taken aback by his proposal, but she knew that The InFamous was a group that needed to be knocked down a few pegs. Nodding slowly, she gave him a look of approval. Crossing her arms, her expression turned to a serious one.

Farrah Farris: You know I wan't nothing more than for them to go down, Zack. I'm in. Whatever you need from me, you got it. I'll help however I can.

Zack takes his cellphone out of his pocket and creates a new contact. He hands his mobile device over to Farrah, who gently takes it from him. She looks up to him.

Zack Lowery: If you want to put your number in, I'll get the address for you and if you want you can swing by. Sound good?

Farrah smiles to him, before looking down to his phone and typing in her details. She saves the contact and hands it back to him. Brushing her wet hair over her shoulder, a warm smile lightly tugs at the edge of her mouth.

Farrah Farris: Sounds great. You better text me! I'll be waiting to hear from you!

Zack walks off and the screen fades to black

Sitting in a yoga crossed leg position, former World Champion; Marcus Lassiter; meditates, eyes closed, and slightly humming.

Lassiter: Soon, My Peacekeeper, you shall come back to the fold. I shall MAKE YOU remember WHO... YOU... ARE... and we shall be back on track for me to ONCE AGAIN rise to the top of EVO as their chosen World Champion.

The beating I will do to you will not be one of revenge, though you DID attack me and even succeed in injuring me me a short time. It will NOT be of revenge. It will not be of anger. It will not be of hate. It will be of LOVE. Anthony.. my Peacekeepr... I LOVE YOU, Anthony, I LOVE YOU so much that I NEED to make you realize that your place is by my side, not in the lead. THE LEAD is for me alone, and tonight, I will show you that I am MORE WILLING TO DO ANYTHING that I have to do to resume my spot as the HEAD of the Canon.

THE CANON has had its talents SQUANDERED under your ‘leadership.’ It’s PLACE has been taken by The InFamous. THEY rule EVO now. THAT... was OUR place. We shall have that place again... and I... shall be the one to bring us there.

Anything you do tonight will CEMENT your place as more than a bit player, Anthony, but, ‘more than a bit player’ is STILL not good enough to be the LEAD. TONIGHT, Anthony, out of LOVE... I will hurt you worse than you have ever been hurt, and I will MAKE YOU ADMIT that I am your master... past, present, and future.

The camera pans back to see The Peacekeeper standing at the entranceway of the room; with a led pipe in his hand; watching Lassiter. He contemplates action, but then slowly backs away out of view.

Lassiter smiles as the camera fades out.

The nametag on the door for the General Manager’s office (Hope Childs) is shown. It opens and out comes Russian-American wrestling superstar and former Rise Champion; Rasputin; in his wrestling gear; with a smile on his face. The smile lessens some when he sees that he is immediately face to face with his opponent for the night; former EVO World Champion; Peter Quick.

Rasputin: What are YOU here for?

Peter Quick: I’m just here to talk to Hope. I’m campaigning to get another shot at the World title. And after tonight’s win, I think I’ll DESERVE a shot at the title.

Rasputin: YOU? You chased the title for MONTHS... and when you DID win the title... because even a BLIND squirrel will eventually find a nut... you lost it ten minutes later.

Peter Quick: Afanasi... can I call you that? I mean, we’re tight, right? That same OLD insult just DOESN’T work on me, see... only THREE men in this company have ever held the World title. MY NAME is on that list. Yours... ain’t. And YES... it was stolen away from me by hook or by crook, but I... unlike you... DID IT. I HELD the World title... so there ain’t much anyone can do to besmirch my legacy. I held it before. I’ll hold it again. YOU... haven’t held it... EVER. Before, now, or in the future. You’ll NEVER hold the World title. And tonight, after I beat you... I’m going to step over your carcass and GET me a shot at MY world title.

Rasputin: Well, all that needs to be said has been said. And no meeting is needed. I’ve spoken with Hope CHilds, and she has guaranteed me that the winner of this match will be put into the number one contender’s match next week. Unfortunately for you, I did not ask what happens to the loser.

Peter Quick: Well, I guess I’m getting a SHOT at a shot next week.

The camera fades out and the to another backstage area of the EVO arena.

A loud, screachy “HAH HAH! is heard just before the camera pans in to see The First, standing in front of The Second, as the two are walking out of Hope Childs’ General Manager’s office. As they are walking out, Akira Ng is seen, upset, walking to the office, cussing in chinese. He is stopped in place by The First.

The First: Akira Ng! MAN oh MAN. What a SPLASH you’ve made in EVO so far. Your first NIGHT... winning the Ascent Championship. Being the first man to cash in that title and win the RISE Championship... just like The Other did when he cashed in and won the WORLD title.

Akira Ng: I have no time for you, little man. I need to talk to the GM.

The First: Well... she just finsihed talking to US... and see, we set up a BIG match for next week. I think you should do the same.

Posted Image

A new voice joins the conversation from behind. It is the voice of The EVO World Champion; The Other (Steve Smith).

The Other: What big match? Are you gogint o be in the #1 contender match that they have every show after I successfully defend my title?

The First: Well, not me, I’m a manager, and NO... we won’t be in the number one contender match... by next week, cuz, we’ll be WORLD CHAMPION... after MAH BOY beats you TONIGHT... in a cage. See, The InFamous will be the FASTEST FACTION to flame out of pro wrestling. Ng lost the Rise Championship. Those two goons; Cole and Myers; will lose the Tag Titles to our Samoan brothers; Fiji Tolu. And YOU, Stevie boy, are going to get DOMINATED... and there’s no DQ to help you keep your title THIS TIME.

The Other: No need for a DQ. I’ll admit, you had the edge last time. I underestimated you, but THIS TIME, I’m ready, and no one in this business is better, when they’re ready, THAN ME. I beat Rasputin, I beat Quick. I beat EVERY SINGLE CHALLENGER for my title. I’ve been #2. I’ve been RISE Champion. And now I’m #1. NOW... I’m the WORLD CHAMPION... and I’m the WORLD CHAMPION for a reason. It’s beacuse I’m the BEST IN THE WORLD. You’re good kid. Hell, you’re GREAT... but I’m THE BEST... and I have the HARDWARE to prove it.

The First: You shine up that belt tonight, and get it ready for MAH BOY. Cuz, IN THE CAGE, there ain;t no place to run. Now, we ain;t new to the party. We know that even in a cage, ya boys will have a chance to interfere. But it’s the BEST CHANCE we have to take you down. A No DQ match – ya boys would just run in and beat down my boy 4 on one... just like last time. But, all we gotta do tonight is fight you, in the cage, one on one, and not let anybody else in... and then one on one... BEAT YOU. And we ALL know that we can do that.

Oh... and that big match for next week? It’s YOUR rematch... for OUR World title. THIS WEEK... we BEAT YOU for the title. NEXT WEEK... we END your last chance to get it back. And you move on to the back of the line.

Good luck being boss of a band of LOSERS. Good luck STAYING the boss of a bunch of losers who think... USED TO THINK of you as the best wrestler in the world... after they see you beat down and BROKEN... by MAH BOY... THE SECOND.
The Other: I’m walking in as champion tonight, and I’m walking OUT as Champion. Now, if you’ll excuse US... we have to deal with that bull[bleep] fluke of win by Asher King.

The camera fades out.

Lacey VanTrapp is seen, smiling as she skips down the backstage area, softly singing to herself.

Lacey VanTrapp: Who’s the girl with the perfect pitch? Who’s the girl who beat that Shiloh [bleep]? It’s Thaaaat girl. Thaaaat girl.

Posted Image

Unseen to her, as she started to twirl her hair in her hand, the former Sirens Champion; wife of The EVO World Champion (Steve Smith; The Other) and the woman that she defeated earlier in the night; Shiloh charges her from behind, smashing her in the back with a cold, hard folded, steel chair.

SMASH! Lacey VanTrapp falls to the ground in a heap and Shiloh gets over her and smashes her tw more times before kneeling down beside the downed Lacey VanTrapp.

Shiloh: You think that this is OVER!?!?!?!?! OVER!?!?!?!?!? You took EVRYTHING AWAY FROM ME! I was Champion, and because of YOU, I LOST that title. NOT TO YOU... NOT TO YOU... I didn;t lose the title TO YOU. But, then, somehow, YOU ended up with MY TITLE. My HUSBAND was CHAMPION... and I WAS CHAMPION. WE WERE THE POWER COUPLE OF EVO! And you took that away from ME. I took away your title.

I HANDED IT to that no talent cow. I was going to DESTROY HER as soon as I was given a chance, but YOU TOOK THAT AWAY FROM ME! Now... now I can’t even CHALLENGE for that title for ONE YEAR!

What did you THINK THAT I WAS GOING TO DO?!?!?! If I can’t be SIRENS CHAMPION. I’m going to [bleep]ing make sure that YOU will never be Sirens Champion again.

I’m going to DOG YOU, week in and week out. I’m going to make it my personal goal over the next year to make sure that YOU... ARE NOT HERE... one year from now. I’m going to cause you SO MUCH PAIN that you’ll BE FORCED to walk away. You’ll BEG me to let you walk away. YOU BEG ME for MERCY... but no mercy will be given.

TONIGHT WAS NOT THE END.

TONIGHT...

...was just the beginning.

Shiloh gets to her feet, and tosses the chair down on top of Vacey VanTrapp, and then just walks away, leaving the barely conscious Lacey VanTrapp in a heap.

Zack Lowery is preparing to leave the arena when Parker St. James runs up to him.

Parker: Zack can you explain your actions tonight?

Zack drops his bag and looks over to Parker.

Zack: Parker it's simple you screw with me payback is around the corner. You see The InFamous saw me as a threat because I was two Rise Championship title defenses away from being able cash in against The Other.

Parker tries to ask a question but Zack cuts him off.

Zack: You would think The Other would have enough confidence in Akira for him to beat me fair and square yet they resort to a four on one attack. Akira was undefeated until tonight. I ended his undefeated streak!

Zack: Shiloh got involved in one of my matches against The Other, I repay the favor by costing her her EVO Siren's Championship. Akira was next. Cole Black and Nathan Myers... they had payback coming. They got PAYED... back.

Zack: I will not be satisfied until every member of The InFamous does not hold any EVO Championship Gold. When I get through them all i'm taking The Other's EVO World Heavyweight Championship.

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Fiji Tolu vs (C) The InFamous (Cole Black & Nathan Myers)

We come back with entrances under way as we prepare for an EVO Tag Team Championship bout. Ioani came out with a springboard headbutt and a springboard moonsault. He got the better of both Cole and Myers with a fancy headscissors move and then hit the tag in to Loto as Myers tried to put distance between the two of them. Loto hit a Michinoku Driver on Myers, then went for a pin for the two and a half count.

But – Myers retaliated, regaining control as he landed a number of blows on Loto. Only for Loto to power out and shove Myers into a corner, when Cole blind tagged himself into the match and then walked up, looking eye to eye with Loto. The two big men staring eachother down. The two men lock up as Loto takes control, turning it into a side slam as he lifted Cole off his feet and dropped him to the mat. Cole got up and ducked a big clothesline from Loto, only for Loto to turn and be hit with a horrifying running boot. Cole then went for a pin, only to hit the two count as Ioani broke up the fall.

Loto beat down Cole again and again. Then he whipped Cole into the ropes, only for Ioani to tag himself in blindly. Loto looked to Ioani in surprise, before stepping out. And Ioani began an offense on Cole, Cole went for another boot. But Ioani ducked it and caught him with a superkick! But that only dazed the large man, as he stumbled around the place. Ioani then nailed a flying forearm.. and then another.. and one more for good measure before finally toppling the big man. He went for a pin.. 1... 2.. 2 and a half! And Cole kicked out!

Ioani couldn’t believe it. Ioani went over to tag Loto, but Cole was playing possum and went for a rollup! 1.. 2... 2 and a half! Ioani was in shock, raising up only to walk into the Blackout! Cole then proceeded to tag Myers in. Myers rushed in and nailed a cheap punch at Loto. Causing Loto to fall off the apron for a minute. Then he turned and began assaulting the fallen Ioani. Loto rushed back in and began attacking Myers, as the referee tried to get him seperated.

With the distraction, Cole Black snuck under the ring to pull out a lead pipe (the same pipe that won the two the Tag Team Championship).

Posted Image

As the crowd starts to boo and Cole sneaks up behind Ioani as the ref is distracted, they quickly start to cheer as they see Zack Lowery streak from the backstage area and down to the ring.

Zack slides in the ring, behind Cole Black, and turns Cole around, right into a ddt! Zack grabs the pipe and, as Cole gets to his feet, smacks Cole over the head with it! Zack slides out of the ring as the ref gets back control of the match.

Imani climbs the top turnbuckle and comes off with a Superbly splash onto Cole Black. The ref drops and counts 1,2,3 at 11:08!

Ruby won. and ME... I'm walking in to my match as the WORLD CHAMPION! If I walk out of here tonight with MY World Championship... tonight is a win.

In the ring, as the announcer declares Rasputin the winner, Peter Quick cn’t believe his ears. Peter Quick kips up to his feet, and Rasputin and Peter Quick stand face to face, only inches away from each other, looking like they are going to fight again.

Finally, the crowd cheers as Peter Quick extends his hand to Rasputin and the two shake hands, decalring that, tonight, Rapsutin was the better man. The show fades to commercial.

Devil Went Down To Georgia by Charlie Daniels Band starts to play and the crowd gives a pop as they realize that Stan ‘Filthy’ Rich is making a triumphant return.

Stan’Filthy’ Rich comes out onto the stage and makes his way down to ringside. he slides in after grabbing a mic from someone at ringside.

As the crowd dies down, Stan starts to talk.

Filthy: Well, I’M BACK. Docs have finally cleared me ta rassle, and I’m here to get me back in the CHAMPIONSHIP HUNT.

History lesson. I was one of first champions this here company ever had. Me and that goober Forge were the TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS on DAY ONE. It was supposed ta be me and MY DADDY, Robert ‘Hoss’ Rich, but plans didn’t go according ta PLAN. So, me n Forge. But, I ditched that ZERO, and basically GAVE them title to The Cyclone who was supposed ta FOLLOW THE DAMN PLAN and face me an MAH DADDY... THE LAST OUTLAWS... for the titles, and then me and mah DADDY were supposed to be the EVO Tag Team Champions. Him and HIS DADDY... his daddy and his DADDY’S DADDY... they won Tag Team Championships in this business fer GENERATIONS. Me and MAH DADDY we wus suppsed to be the NEXT generation of THE LAST OUTLAWS... The RICHES. But... we fell short, and I fell for a sexy song and dance.

Yeah, I was a dummy. The CROSSES and the RICHES. A family feud that been around since just after the Hatfields and McCoys. My DADDY took out HIS DADDY. His daddy’s daddy took out MAH daddy’s daddy. And so on and so on and so on. So, Me... a dumbass... thought.. I can END this feud, and PAVE MAH OWN WAY in this world... BEYOND the STUPID COSS vs RICH feud. I CAN END THIS [bleep] and START A NEW ERA.

Instead of Cross vs Rich, it could be CROSS... AND... RICH. I Listened to Fiery. he got me to TURN ON MAH OWN DADDY. I put him OUT. Now, he don’t hold no grudge. He did the DAMN SAME THING to HIS OWN DADDY fifteen years ago. It’s kinda a Rich thing. The crowd, yer body, management... they don;t tell ya when yer time is up... ANOTHER RICH will tell ya when yer time is up. So, we had our differences, but, me and mah DADDY... we cool. Water under the bridge.

Anyway, I THOUGHT that a NEW ERA was upon us Crosees and Riches. A NEW Last Outlaws. I shared his car. he shared my hotel room. We shared meals. Hell.. I even shared HIS WIFE. Thought she was his SISTER, but, TANG IS TANG, and that was some good TANG. But it was all a RUSE... ta get me ta TRUST Fiery... ta get me ta TURN ON MAH PAPPY. And I eventually did both. I trusted Fiery. I TURNED ON MAH DADDY. I put his ASS OUT! Me and Fiery, we wnet fer the Tag Team Championship, and we failed, and he put me down like I put Mika Forge down.

I came back and we battked like we was trying ta KILL EACH OTHER... cuz... we WAS trying ta kill each other. It ended off with him and me tossing each other down a set of stadium stairs and BOTH OF US getting put on the Injured Reserve list.

Full circle, some would say. AH GAT WHAT AH DESERVED, some would say.

Well, I ain’t here ta argue. I’m here ta say that ALL THAT IS THE PAST.

And the past is prologue. I gat my start in this business as a TAG TEAM wrestler. First with my pappy, then with my future ENEMY, Fiery Cross. Well, some of the best damn wrasslers in this SPORT started as Tag Team rasslers. Michaels, Hart, Storm, etc etc etc. Now, AH’M BACK, and I’m here to get me some SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIPS, and ain’t NOBODY gonna git in mah...

Posted Image

Just then, Trace Adkins “Whoop a man’s ass” starts to play and Jethroe ‘Fiery’ Cross comes out onto the stage, but, safely away from Stan ‘Filthy’ Rich.

Fiery: Well, well, well, you DUMB son of a [bleep]. you think that WE BOTH HAD THE SAME TUMBLE. We BOTH had the same fall, but you thought that ONLY YOU was cleared toreturn?

I’m JUST AS TUFF AS YOU. Hell, I;m TOUGHER, and I’m SMARTER. And I’m willing ta do ANYTHING to get ahead in this business. I used my skill. I used mah toughness. I used mah STRENGTH. I used mah SPEED. I used mah DAMN WIFE ta get ahead. You and me... we COULDA ended the Rish vs CROSS feud, but you couldn’t hold up yer end. YEAH, you were dumb enough ta let me convince you to take out yer own daddy, but I kinda RESPECTED ya fer that. Ya did what ya needed ta do ta get ahead. Ya tried tta get them tag titles with ya daddy... and ya failed. Mighta been YER fault... mighta been HIS fault. Well. Ya took him out, and ya aligned ya’swlf with ME. And WE... the NEW.. Last Outlaws went after them Tag Team titles... and WE... YOU... failed.

Common denominator... you and yer daddy failed... you and ME failed. Ah know that AH ain’t a loser, so, that makes me think that maybe YOU... the loser in BOTH a THEM thar teams... maybe it was YOU. No. [bleep] that. DEFINITELY... it was YOU, Stan. YOU WAS THE LOSER in BOTH THEM TEAMS. So, I took YOU out.

But ya wouldn’t STAY DOWN.

So, I did what I had ta do to put you down and KEEP ya down. I tosses you down a flight of stairs... and you took me with ya, but, YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED DOWN, Stan... cuz... I’m BACK, TOO, and I’m here ta PUT YOU DOWN, and KEEP YOU DOWN... FER GOOD.

There ain’t no need to ta say anything else. We’s gonna END THIS... right here... right...

Posted Image

Just then, the mic cuts out for Jethroe ‘Fiery’ Cross, andf the EVO-tron comes on, with the face of General manager; Hope Childs o the screen.

Hope Childs: Well, you two... again.

EVO Wrestling is about ORIGINAL... elite professional wrestling. I’ll admit that BOTH OF YOU are ELITE wrestlers, but Fiery vs Filthy incarnation number 5,463 is NOT... original.

It is ABUNDANTLY CLEAR that both of you WILL NOT be satisfied until one of you COMPLETELY ELIMINATES the other one. But the number of ELITE professional wrestlers in this world is a short one. So, as General Manager, it is in my best interest to NOT... have you two fight each other TO THE DEATH. So, as an executive order... I am BANNING the two of you from any further one on one matches. I am BANNING both of you from having any physical confrontations until further notice.

NEITHER OF YOU will move on from this centiry-old family feud unless FORCED TO. So, I’m FORCING YOU BOTH... to MOVE ON. The first one of you to DEFY MY WILL will IMMEDIATLEY be FIRED from EVO Wrestling.

That is all.

The EVO-tron cuts out and Fiery and Filty look on at each other with impotent hatred in their eyes as the screen fades to black and the show fades to commercial.
