YAWT(Who's Tougher)T: Hockey Players vs Football Players

Hi,

After a discussion in the breakroom with an avid football fan today, I wondered who was really tougher. The guy in the pads on the hard, cold ice, or the guy in the pads on the smushy, bouncy Astroturf.
Obviously, I'm arguing from the side of the guys skating which, in and of itself takes considerable skill, while checking and fending off checks as they're trying to get that puck into a space about 1/10th the size of a football field's endzone.
Hockey players also brawl. I'm not a football fan, but I have watched a few games, and I've never seen football players fight like hockey player do. These fights are not only vicious, but are carried out on skates on ice. I'd like to see a football player stay on his feet, much less try to even knock another guy down with his feet in skates, instead of cleats.
Yes, football players have to push through lines of pretty big guys to get their ball a little further down the field, but if they get knocked down, they fall on nice soft grass, or even more gentle Astroturf. Meh.
Yes, they can throw a ball pretty far, and kick it between a couple of big sticks, and I'm sure that takes some skill, but do those skills make them "tougher" than hockey players?

Any suggestion?

I did not find the right solution from the internet.
