Okay. So Draggie is a bit behind in terms of updating the news. But I've been busy, and let's face it, this board hasn't exactly been bursting with activity lately. It's not the members, the members are great. It's the number of members that we have I suppose. We're working on that.

Onto the Actual news. Yes, we actually have news... for once.

Site Changes

Alright, for anybody not using a bookmark or a shortcut somewhere on their desktop or whatever it is that you kids use nowadays, you would realize that the url http://s11.zetaboards.com/galvalin now leads to the portal page.

Why? Because I've realized that people don't actually read the news posts because it's located under the information drive and doesn't prompt people to read it when new news shows up. Also, few people actually use the portal button, so yeah.

And yes. Draggie has decided to limit pets. Why? Because otherwise, we'll have too many running around the place, even if they're only flitters.

As anyone can see, the entire clutch has been claimed and taken, and it's actually already Ongoing in the weyrbowl. For those few who aren't aware of this, now you are.

Dragon Clutch

... is not hatching yet. But as promised, the Touching is coming up soon. Probably right when we're halfway through with the flitter hatching. Don't actually know the eggs?
You're not actually supposed to. It's just a clutch, something to get excited about, but nothing to go into details because there's no big golden egg in the sands this time around. We will, however, still be having a guessing game.

So people. Come take a guess, not at which egg will hatch what dragon, but how many color of each dragon there will be.

Closest guess will get the chance of their character a flit or some other pet.

Also. Don't forget people. Flit eggs to be claimed.

Alright, I'm a little disappointed at the lack of activity in the Weyr, but I'll live. Still, a thank you to anybody who has tried to help this Weyr expand in terms of members and a welcome to those who are relatively new around here. Now that that's noted, let's go onto actual news that's supposed to go into a news post.

On a more site related side of things, if you're reading this post, you're safe. If you're not, you're either just not reading news or you're not safe at all. Why? Well, the gist of it all is that Da Clutch Masterz is not happy with inactive people. So people who hasn't even logged in the last 180 days will be deleted. Unless you log in or something within the next three days.

Now. Onto more roleplay related things.
Everybody is aware then, that the Queen has clutched and is not in a good mood. But between loosing more eggs that she is comfortable with and the news of a second Queen being transfered in here to baby sit them, it's no surprise she's not happy. Be careful not to get caught in between the two Golds if a fight breaks out because there's bound to be a whole lot of tension and drama going on the moment the transfer shows up.
Not everything is bad news though. In the light of the news, Southern has sent over a token to show that they're on Galvalin's side and willing to help if needed. So we don't just have a dragon clutch now, apparently, we also have a small clutch of firelizards nearly ready to hatch and meet the world.

Also. Be careful people. After the Council thread has gotten near a good point, the touching will be going up. And remember people, activity is important for an impression. And a touching is really important.

For all those who aren't aware, there's a clause in ToS in which mentions that there will be no sexual content in the forums. At all.

So that means you keep everything related to PG13 at the most people. Mind, candidates will still be mauled at hatchings, but no more romantic trysts at back of the candidate barracks without fading out.

On that note, let's hear some opinions here people. Is being able to roleplay a matured scene important to you? Important enough to consider moving to another server?

Alright, so for all those who haven't picked it up yet. It's winter outside the Weyr.

Flying is dangerous. Very dangerous. Winds are blowing towards the sea right now, which means that any sand or dust storms that kick up will be buffeting against all you flying dragons.
Yes, you can still fly, but you better keep to the cliffs and not above them I tell you.

Outside of that. Prepare of a time jump. A shortish one that edges into spring, because that's when the Touching is going to be. And in a little bit, I'll probably be posting that up.

On another note. If anybody can introduce this Weyr to any new members. That would be great. We need more people. As always.
