“Faith! There will need to be some kind of miracle if you hurt my Flitt”, scolding words coming from the normally very bouncy Kiera, Oh please Mine… you know she antagonizes me so, and she also competes for attention, not that I need to do that but its defiantly the principle of the thing , Kiera couldn’t help but roll her eyes.. She sat in the weyr bowl, trying to concentrate on fixing some mistakes she had made on her last drill, and while she did that her dragon, Faith, and her green Flitt, Itsy, were sat ‘playing’, it was more of Faith trying to eat the poor thing, but a average size Green vs. as Green flitt, the odds were against her. Kiera had been sat there for maybe an hour, before she had decided she had enough, sighing heavily and flopping backwards onto the ground, she led there listening to the two dragons fight between each other. Suddenly she heard a buzzing above her head, she opened an eye to see a flit floating right above her head, “FAITH DON’T EV---- …” she was too slow though and moving wasn’t going to save her, Faiths tail swipe attempt at Itsy had missed the flit and smacked Kiera. It hadn’t been hard, but it was defiantly set up, and Kiera really knew it too. She jumped up after throwing Faiths tail off her, “WHY!? Why do you do this time me! You evil dragons you!” ’ US! Never, why would you think such things of us!’ An evil Snicker followed after. “BECAUSE, you are EVIL!” Kiera charged at her dragon, trying to wrestler her, laughing the whole time, somehow she could even think about being mad at her, even after purposely smacking her like some silly slapstick comedy, the concept itself was amusing, a five foot six girl trying to wrestle a green dragon of average size, wasn’t likely but she was going to give it a go. It ended up with Faith holding Kiera in the air around her waist. She was stuck now and really not a lot she could. “curses!” Edited by Goonba, May 10 2010, 06:23 AM.

'Mine, are you sure you wish to go down there now? I see another and Hers, and they're making quite a commotion.' Green Mireth informed her rider as the pair made their way across the bowl together. The dragon had met up with Dinelle after the rider had stopped by the dining hall to grab a quick bite after running some drills. Dinelle had been hoping to get in a little more practice with Mireth for the day before they had to move on to other things. Is it anyone we know Love? Dinelle inquired. It didn't matter much to her either way, she would go down there and have a chat either way. She simply wanted to know whether or not she would be introducing herself. Mireth was silent a minute as she tried to identify the dragon and rider already in the area. 'I believe they are in our Wing, but we have not met formally yet. It is a young Green and Hers.' Dinelle grinned. Getting to know your wing was never a bad idea. The 'commotion' part confused her a bit though. As they were nearing the other pair, Dinelle could see that something was going on. It was anyone's guess as to what though. She could hear the rider shouting from where she was. Pausing a moment, Dinelle raised a hand in greeting. "Hello there! Hope you don't mind if we ask just what you're up to?" The rider called. Behind her, Mireth had come to a stop as well. Her eyes were stopped on the other green as she messed about with the flit. The dragon remained as still as stone with only the very tip of her tail switching smoothle from side to side as she observed the action. Even though she had real idea what they were up to, Dinelle thought it looked like they were having fun. |

Kiera had not really been paying attention to anyone walking up to her and her dragon, despite the fact that another dragon had come with whoever had walked up to her. Faith was having too much fun as well, she was obviously keeping her attention on Kiera. Faith jumped up right when she heard the voice of a female calling out to them, she still had Kiera in her tail grip though ’ Ooo look mine, a person, and I think that’s a green from our wing,’ Faith looked at the woman and then past to her green, finally bringing her tail around to show them Kiera, ’Be nice now and say hello’, “I’ll hello you in a minute Faith, PUT me DOWN!”, she should of known that she wasn’t going to get down EXACTLY how she wanted too, after receiving a playful chuckle and an ‘oooookay’ from her dragon, she simply let Kiera fall to the ground. Kiera wasn’t that high from the ground, and an ordinary person would be able to managed to land gracefully, but, Kiera and the word graceful, belong together about as much as a Green does chasing a Gold, sure it could happen, but won’t. Kiera landed with an “oof” right on her backside to, glaring up at her dragon for a moment, she quickly jumped to her feet, “I swear faith, if we weren’t bonded, you might be in trouble!” she recomposed herself straightening her now messed up hair quickly trying to look, ‘presentable’, she broke into smile and a cheerful wave “Hi there, I don’t mind, we were just playing, although Faith here has a rather … unique, sense of humor. I’m Kiera by the way, and, this is Faith, and somewhere around here is green flitty, called Itsy that is assuming Faith didn’t eat her…” Don’t look at me I didn’t touch her, although . Kiera ignored Faith knowing she couldn’t even catch the thing if she wanted to, “how do you do, miss?” the ‘miss’ was a questioning tone. |

Mireth stood silently there, her eyes whirling a slow curiousity as she watched what was going on. Other than that not a sign of what might possibly be going on in that dragon's mind was evident. It was nothing bad, though only Dinelle would really know that. In fact, the rider was a little afraid of being tackled to the ground herself by her green companion. She wouldn't put it past Mireth to strike when she wasn't looking, especially if the dragon thought that Faith and Kiera were having enough fun. Still, the greenrider warned her bonded not to be so creepy as to scare these other two off. She recieved a blink in return. "Dinelle." the rider replied, holding back as much of a chuckle as she could. "I would be Dinelle, and this quiet statue-like one here is my Mireth." Dinelle placed a loving hand on her dragon's shoulder, but the green just snorted. 'Very pleased to meet you both." she said. 'I am NOT a statue!' Mireth complained, half mocking, half serious. "Oh, you're not, are you? Why not introduce yourself then, rather than glaring at our new friends here." Mireth glided over to the other rider pair then, almost seeming to move in one motion as she did. She stopped before Faith and nodded her head. 'Hello green sister. I am Mireth.' Then, with about as much warning as that of a lightning strike, Mireth whipped her tail around behind her and straight into Dinelle. The rider sputtered, surprised but laughing as her green danced lightly out of reach of Hers. "Oh you!" Dinelle yelped, shaking her head. Laughter still filled her though as the normally proud and still Mireth jumped teasingly back and forth in front of her. "Seems she wants to play as well!" she joked to Kiera. |

Kiera chuckled as she watched Dinelle and Mireth playfully go at it just as she and Faith had, Faith also greeted Mireth in a rather joyful manor’Hello Mireth, it is good to see you again and get to finally introduce ourselves, as mine said I am Faith, and believe me my name is well fitting , Kiera glared at her dragon, “EXCUSE me!? Just because I’m clumsier then an upside down egg doesn’t mean you have to take credit for it!” “it seems both our dragons had taken lessons from my brothers Dragon, now Loki, she knew how to pull a prank, this one time, my brother Al was taking a bath, they had these outdoor baths, really nice hot springs, well Al fell asleep, and Loki snuck in there and stole his stuff, Al was left naked in the water for like two hours, I don’t think id seen anyone prune quiet as badly as he was.” Kiera was laughing by the end of her sentence, with Faith shaking her head like some disapproving parent. Kiera sighed clearing her laugh, “I apologies now for anything Faith might suggest to Mireth.” My dear dear Kiera-mine why would I EVER do something like, suggesting Mireth steal hers food after she brings it too her room, or maybe even pretend that she are her Flit, if she has one … OR!... “yes dear that’s quite enough”, Kiera patted her dragons snout lightly, Faith rambling had gone to just Kiera and Mireth, probably leaving Dinelle a bit confused, “so you say Mireth is a statue huh, I must say she’s one of the best looking statues I’ve ever seen…” she grinned at Mireth. It was true. Dinelle was hopelessly lost in whatever conversation was being held between dragons and rider except for the bits that Kiera said out loud. She tried questioning Mireth, but her dragon was obviously enjoying teasing her rider and wouldn't respond. Laughing, Dinelle rolled her eyes. If Mireth chose now to play these silly games, she wouldn't argue. It wasn't often that the green decided to make friends with her fellow greens, so her goofing off could be gladly allowed. Meanwhile, Mireth had taken to trotting about the group energetically. It was a sight rarely seen even by her rider. 'Well fitting indeed, Faith.' Mireth replied, though there was hardly any way for her to know that. They had only barely met afterall. 'This Loki sounds like a fascinating dragon. I should like to meet her someday. I do not know many dragons that do such things to their riders.' Mireth was indeed intrigued by this story. She almost didn't believe it. Though thinking back on it, she did remember some of the odd things her mate used to do to his rider before he and His had left her and Hers when they transfered to a new weyr. 'Nondaruth, my old weyrmate used to hide His' things when Ours were away. His would get so angry, but Mine would only laugh.' Mireth laughed in her draconic way. She missed Nondaruth, but it was still funny to think about His running around frantically, demanding the blue return whatever it was he had hidden. "Hey now you!" Dinelle reprimanded lightly, still laughing. "You could at least tell the whole story. I didn't laugh at him until after he found his stuff! He never would have let Non chase you if I hadn't helped him look." The memories were highly amusing to Dinelle. She had loved S'ren, but he had been hard to put up with sometimes. "She's definitely a piece of work, if that's what you mean!" Dinelle teased. Mireth glared back at Dinelle then. "She's not usually this crazy." |

Kiera watched as Dinelle and her dragons went back and forth just as her and Faith had just before them, it seem both pairs had had some rather amusing stories to tell. And it seemed rather suddenly that Mireth was not in fact a statue, Kiera watched with a rather amused smile as the Green bounced around on the spot, it was good, in Kieras opinion, that there were smiles and happiness going around. Faith chuckled telepathically to Mireth, ‘hmm maybe you will one day, ill be sure to drag her to see you if her and her’s come by, which I’m sure they will, as her’s is mines brother, and he is quiet protective of her, I guess it’s rather hard going from a full family to nothing then finding his clutchmate, again, but they seemed to really do very well’, Faith explained to Mireth that, Kiera had four siblings, but only one were alive now, and that both parents had passed as well, it’s rather supprising to see someone like Kiera in such a great state of mind after all she had been though. Faith pondered for a moment about what Mireth had said, she was almost certain that Mireth was saying that she used to have a weyr mate, this would require ‘noseynessing’ now, Pardon me my Sister, but you said used to, are you no longer mates?, Kiera looked over at Faith with a raise eyebrow, she was wondering what the other had said to her to ask such a question but Kiera wasn’t quiet as intrusive as Faith was either, although she could take a guess at who she were talking about. Kiera chuckled listening to a story that sounded rather familiar, she let Dinelle finish up before talking again, but ended up with another laugh, “hmm she doesn’t seem to be a statue anymore though, with her bouncing like that she kind of reminds me of myself…”, as Kiera was talking to Dinelle Faith had engaged conversation with Mireth again, ‘OH! Want to see something really out of place, its great… ,before Mireth could answer, Faiths tail had come around from behind Kiera and grabbed her foot, lifting her up and holding Kiera in the air. Kiera let out a gasping whoa! As she was flung upside down “FAITH! I mean REALLY! What now ow,ow,ow,ow” Faith began to shake Kiera upside down, and a few things started to drop from her pockets, a brush, a random few other things, a small knife, three small balls, and a ladder… a very small ladder. She then proceeded to put Kiera on the ground and started to collect the three balls, and handed them to Kiera, “you know, you could of JUST asked me to do it”, Faith huffed in her general direction, Kiera then looked over to Dinelle, “Faith finds its extremely amusing, that I’m about as agile, as a blind feline, however…” Kiera grabbed the three balls and started to juggle, “I don’t know why I can do this, just something I have a knack for I suppose…”, Faith watched each of the balls as the go from one had to another like some canine watch its master wag a treat in front of its face. Mireth stopped bouncing around and resumed her still, watchful composure a moment, cocking her head to one side. 'To nothing?' She asked, curious, but sounding a little sad. 'That is very sad... I have never met Mine's family. She says I would not like them, but I wish to meet them anyway.' The way she said it seemed to have a finality about it, as if she had made up her mind that she would meet Hers' family whether Dinelle agreed or not. Mireth huffed a moment, not angry with Faith or anything, but more huffing at the memories of her former mate than anything else. 'We are no longer mates.' Mireth said it slowly, pausing a moment before continuing. 'We were mates for turns, but he and His transfered to another weyr up north. We came here shortly after that.' There was almost a hint of regret in the way she spoke now, but it cleared up quickly. The green was definitely not upset that she had come here. No, it was more a sadness for the loss of the dragon she had been with for so long. Then a mischievous spark lit in her eyes. 'I am sure there is a suitable mate here to fly me. I just have to find him...' Dinelle caught that comment and wondered if maybe Mireth might be ready to rise soon. She was acting particularly odd today, but the green shouldn't be ready for flight just yet. Maybe it was jst the new weyr that had her behaving strangely. 'Have you had a mate like that Faith?' Mireth knew Faith was a much younger dragon than she was, but she didn't know the exact age. It was possible that Faith had had a mate like her Nondaruth. "Mmm, no I suppose she doesn't. Believe me though, Mireth is usually quite the quiet one." Dinelle jumped back out of the way as Faith's tail grabbedKiera again and began to lift her. The rider stood there, giggling helplessly as Kiera dangled there. As soon as Kiera had collected the three balls, Mireth had glided over and was watching intently. 'That is fascinating.' the green agreed. Dinelle clapped from the sidelines. "Just where did you pick up a trick like that then?" the rider asked, clearly amused by the dragons and their interest in Kiera's juggling. |

Faith nodded, but said nothing else about Kieras family, even she felt the pain from it and she hadn’t even been there to witness the events. Mireth seemed like a dragon, at least in Faith opinion, that once she had made her mind it was going to happen, if she could, it would of made Faith smile, ‘My only advice my sister is not to have too high hopes that they will be a pleasant experience, I’m sure you know that though’ . Faith also took a turn to cock her head to the side, they were no longer mates? Something bad must of happened apparently, Faith knew that dwelling on bad memories wasn’t a good way to go about life, thankfully it seemed Mireth didn’t suffer with it either and Faith hummed in agreement, ‘Yes, I must agree, finding the right mate is a tough one sometimes, and, just by looking around there are lots of very attractive males, I’m sure one will be worthy of you.’ Faith sort of did a mental trip when questioned about a mate, she, could say she had one but she wasn’t exactly sure to tell the truth, he had flown her once, and she hopped deeply he would again, but she wanted to see for the second time before she really called him a mate, and ideally she would like Kiera to be said dragons his’s too. heh me? Well, sort of, I guess, I’m not really sure if I could call him my ‘mate’, it’s a little complicated, I chose a blue, but when I did I didn’t realize he was one of the timer dragons, so, a little more investigation into the future, mating habits I suppose is needed before I can really say we are mates, that and I’d prefer to mate to a dragon who will be mines mate too, so I guess the answer is no’, there was a slight, nervousness sound to Faiths voice, in contradiction to her name she didn’t have much faith in her own thoughts about it, she wanted to say yes, but couldn’t for some reason. Kiera stopped her juggling landing one ball on her head, “you know, I really don’t remember I just figured it out one day, obviously I needed a little practice, but you really wouldn’t associate someone who isn’t very agile with someone who can juggle, people keep telling me that I should come to gatherings and juggle for people, but for some reason, I just can’t see myself doing that, besides Faith seems to be the one … thing … she’s not a dragon at the moment, but she’s the only one who really asks me to do it.” Kiera started to collect her things off the ground, “huh, I wondered where that got too”, as she picked up this miniature ladder. Once all was collected she stood up and brushed herself down, again, “So, asides from the juggling the incredible ability to fall over and for some reason my rather bubbly happiness, that’s about all I can do” she chuckled to herself, “can you do anything, interesting?” it probably wasn’t the best word choice, but Kiera was interested to know if Danelle had some nifty talents. 'I'm sure you are right. I would still like to know who it was that made Mine perfect the way she is.' Mireth sighed. A mental giggle somehow managed to escape though, when the green realized how much Faith had sounded like Dinelle just then. 'You know, green sister, you sound like my Dinelle when you say that. If I didn't know better I would think it was she who was warning me of that again.' Then, sensing the sadness behind Faith's words, Mireth backed off the subject, but not before offering what she hoped to be one final word of comfort. 'Yours has family though. She has you, and she has her wing, and the weyrfolk as well. We are all family here.' Mireth nodded, a wise finality in her voice, for once showing a bit of seniority in her voice. Mireth laughed then. 'If one is here, I will find him. It will be a grand flight, to be sure. He will know the full extent of what he's getting into.' The dragon held her head high then, a sense of pride in herself evident. If it weren't for her size and color, one might have mistaken her for a gold just then. As the moment passed, she lowered her head, laughing softly. Faith's unconfident monologue was slightly amusing, but Mireth meant no offense in it. 'Do not worry about it. I'm sure he is a fine dragon. The question of whether or not he is worthy of such a dragon as you will be answered in time. And do not doubt your choice.' The look on Mireth's face then was almost smug and knowing then. Dinelle raised an eyebrow at the ladder thing that Kiera gathered up with the rest of her things, but she didn't say anything. Instead, she bent to help collect up a few things as well and handed them back to Kiera. "Well that's quite the trick there at any rate. I'm afraid there's not much I can do in the way of interesting little things like that." Dinelle shrugged. "I do like to think I've got a few more talents than some, seeing as I like to try my hand at just bout anything." Then a thought occured to her. "One thing I can assure you that I'm no good at though is singing." She laughed. "I couldn't carry a tune to save my life." |

Aelae wasn't so much as walking as she was being pushed along the Weyrbowl. Her Blue, though much smaller than those of his own time, matched the same size as many other Blues of this time, and that was large enough to push Aelae along. The sleepy Timer seemed to have been just dragged out of bed really, odd, considering just how early it was that Aelae usually woke. Her shirt barely tucked into pants and her hair slightly tousled, eventually, the Bluerider managed to get on her own feet to walk though. Besides the smaller Blue, a larger one was ambling calmly besides him. They were quite different really. Zygeth was a light blue. Overly lanky and skinny with those rounded features that give his face an almost chubby look. The other was a deep dark blue that was almost black, and in fact, streaks of what appeared to be actual black actually melded into his hide. His entire appearance seemed to be serpentine, his neck, body and tail seeming quite sleek and long. He was also really quite streamline and slender in that manner. Yet the two dragons seem to get along just fine, and so did their riders to some extent. Aelae didn't really speak to the other Bluerider. Instead, they seemed to have some sort of silent agreement and conversation going in their own little way. Aelae stepped up in front while Lihana stayed a couple of steps back next to Jevenoth. They came upon the group soon enough, and with that grin across her features, Aelae certainly wasn't passing up a chance to cozy up to the Greenrider. "Keira! Wasn't expecting to see you today." Her attention went to the other Greenrider and she bowed somewhat, still grinning, "And who's your pretty friend Kiera?" Behind her, Lihana let out a soft 'huh', not quite nearing the group, but rather lingering upon the edge almost wearily. Zygeth came slinking up to Faith, nudging her shoulder upon her wing joint slightly before sliding over and greeting both Greens. His calm voice sliding over the pair the way it often does. A good day to both you ladies. I would be Zygeth, though I'm sure you already know Faith. he nodded in an almost teasing way at the Green in question before turning his head slightly. This here is Jevenoth. Jevenoth bowed his head, his own voice entering the conversation. A pleasure meeting both of you miladies. Tis is a fine day today is it not? |

Faith could tell that these two greens were going to end up being good friends, they seemed very much like each other, at least according to her, they both seemed to be interested in the same things as well, and both had a similar way of approaching subjects. Faith nodded in agreement, Mireths statement made a lot of sense, worrying about it was silly really, and having someone else telling her she was worthy of something was nice to hear, she didn’t need a ego boost though, Kiera might suffer else. Thank you Mireth, it’s nice to hear that from another green, I get the feeling we will end up spending some time together , it would be nice for her to have some other dragon to talk about males and other things greens talk about. “Thank you,” Kiera collected the rest of the things from Dinelle, and Kiera seemed not disappointed, but disheartened that Dinelle didn’t have anything she felt she had to showoff, Kiera was certain there was, it might take some digging but seeing as she had just met she thought it would be rude to try and continue on. “Can’t sing huh? My brother can play the flute but he can’t sing, heh, have you ever tried juggling?” Almost before she had finished her sentence, she heard her name from a familiar voice, as she looked her face turned into a beaming smile that if it emitted light would blind all present. Turning back to Dinelle quick, “Excuse me a moment”, she turned and went running towards Ael, lunging at her and throwing her arms around her neck, while yelling the accustomed battle cry, “OMIGOSH ITS AAAEEELLLL!!!!!”. After taking a moment to nuzzle her she, remembered that she had actually asked her a question, she grabbed her by the arm and dragged her over to Dinelle, “this love lady is Dinelle, she has been watching me do silly things, like, juggling, and getting attacked by Faith. This Dinelle is Ael, she’s a good friend of mine,” Kiera then took a moment to notice there was actually someone else stood off to the side, “and I don’t believe I have met the other Lady over there,” Kiera looked at the other Female with a much calmer smile, she seemed a lot more subtle compared to the rest of them. Faith had actually Spotted the two blues coming before Kiera had had her moment, and pointed it out to Mireth Look here he comes now, the light blue one, that’s Zygeth, he blue who caught me, I THINK the other blue is Jevenoth, I could be wrong though, Faith stood and watched as Zygeth and his friend walked over. She nuzzled against Zygeth slightly as he rubbed against her, and chuckled slightly as he made the obvious statement, which, yes Faith did in fact know, Yes dear I haven’t miraculously forgot you in a day’s time, and it is nice to meet you Jevenoth, and yes I must say has been a lovely day so far, this is Mireth, defiantly one of the pleasurable green to be around here.’, Faith sneakily tried to grab a holy to Zygeths tail, testing to see what kind of response she would get from him, and almost admiring him when no one else was talking. |

Dinelle shrugged. "I'm afraid I don't come from a very musically talented family at all." She admitted, shaking her head. "Mostly hard working fishers and such. I know my way around a ship, down a mine, and through a forge, but I can't for the life of me do anything that reuires artistic talent of any kind. I don't think I could even compose poetry if I tried." She laughed. "Can't say I've ever tried juggling though. I guess that just wasn't something I ever thought to fill my time with." Dinelle bent then and picked up a good sized loose stone from the floor of the bowl and gave it a few testing tosses into the air before tossing it off with a skipping motion. Dinelle had caught sight of the blues and their riders a distance down the bowl, but she hadn't noticed their intended destination until the lighter of the blues had reached the pair of greens. She grinned understandingly at Kiera. "Don't mind me." She said, laughing at the younger girl's excitment as she jumped at the bluerider. She offered her own friendly greeting to the rider Kiera brought back. "Please, I'm not that good looking." Dinelle joked. "But I thank you all the same. Very pleased to meet you Ael. Kiera was just entertaining me with some tricks." The greenrider turned then to the other bluerider and looked curiously at her. She raised an eyebrow. It seemed Ael was the only one here that knew her. Dinelle wouldn't pry too much though. Mireth nodded. 'I would like to believe you are right, and not just because we belong to the same wing' The older green was teasing a bit, but she did mean it. Mireth wasn't a dragon to keep a lot of close friends, but she could see herself staying around Faith at least. A few friends was never a bad thing. The appearance of males thrilled Mireth, and they couldn't have had better timing. Especially after the conversation they had just had. Judging by the way the lighte one greeted Faith, it seemed he might have been the one the green had just been talking about. Mireth lifted her head up in greeting to the both of them. 'Greetings Zygeth, Jevenoth. It is wonderful to meet you both.' The green managed to cover most of the yearning for a mate that she had filled her last conversation with Faith. Dinelle could tell her dragon was sizing up these blues though. 'It is indeed a lovely day Jevenoth, though I do miss the openness of the weyrs back east.' She had to admit, she wasn't exactly fond of always having stone over her head. She supposed it was for a good enough reason though, and didn't often protest too much about it. She returned to the blues and Faith then. 'What brings you both down here then?' Mireth asked casually. |

Whatever it was that Lihana was, it certainly wasn't relaxed. With the presence of the two Greenriders, the Bluerider was tensed. Still, her Blue was right by her side, blinking almost lazily at them all and conversing with the Greens. She knew that he could protect her if anything came down to it, knew that he would. So she relaxed slightly, though she watched both of them quite wearily still. It was quite different from the relaxed Aelae who wrapped an arm about Kiera to steady them both, grinning at Dinelle, She didn't pay much mind now to the Bluerider, knowing that Lihana was actually more than capable of fending for herself, even if in a slightly odd manner. The gender neutral, in appearance anyways, Bluerider was actually quite a force to be reckoned with, as Aelae had the... luck... to figure out once in the past. She turned to Dinelle then, laughing slightly, "A pretty lady is a pretty lady. And was she now?" A glance was shot at Kiera, "She seems to do that with people alot." We are all in the same wing here, with the exception of Jevenoth here. He is, for some reason or another, in a higher altitude wing than we are. Probably because he's so much larger than us all. Zygeth was almsot playfuli, nudging Jevenoth slightly only to have the calm Blue give him a look that said 'well what else did you think would happen?' If either Blue were aware of being surveyed, they showed no sign of it. Instead, Zygeth moved his tail out from Faith's attempted grasp, fixing a whirling eye upon her that was teasing and amused at the same time. Then his tail was wrapped about her leg, the long limb held loosely there as he sat upon his hunches and dared her try again. Jevenoth however, merely settled down upon the ground, his long body resting against the stones and gravel easily as he blinked once at the other three. Open skies art something that we seem to be missing here... His head turned though, as if eyeing the stone above their heads, But having the winds buffet mineself is not a pleasing experience that is true. He closed his eyes then, humming a little before replying to the question. For a little rest milady. Mine Li did not wish to spend our day locked up within a weyr, comfortable as our dwelling might be. Then in a softer tone, the Blue's eyes slid open again, watching his tense bonded. In addition, I think mine bonded is in need for some companionship, though many misunderstand her to be an aggressive boy, she really is just a lonely little girl. He tilted his head slightly and then fell silent, as if he had revealed too much and was simply just waiting for the conversation to move somewhere else. |

Kiera looked sharply up at Ael scowling at here playfully, “I do not!mostly its Faith having an ‘OOOSHINY!’ moment,” she poked her in the sides lightly and playfully, “and you are a pretty lady Dinelle, it might mean more coming from me, Ael things a rock with a wig is pretty…” she finished her sentence snickering behind her own breath. After letting the aftermath of her comment about Ael unfold, she noticed the other blue rider again, just standing off to the side, she looked over at her, smiling happily, she wondered if she would like to join them, “Ael, why don’t you ask your friend to join us, she looks a little … bored…”, she turned back to her again still smiling, she was almost certain that she was a male, but she might be wrong… Faith couldn’t help but play in her own mind, spot the odd one out … three small dragons one large, hmm, three females all highly social and one, not so much. ‘That would really make sense dear, having the timer dragons here with us makes me feel safer, for some reason. she nodded to her own comment, they would obviously been more genetically evolved then the dragons of this time, and more experienced maybe, and they would know the trick to defeating thread once and for all. Faith had to look behind her for a moment to see what the pesky blue dragon was doing, after she noticed his tail around her leg, she attempted again to try and grasp it, looking at the blue eyes glaring at him as if to say, ‘you little bugger! Give me that!’, as she could tell her was playing games with her now. She was momentarily distracted by Jevenoth, bringing memories of flying around with Lokith on her days off, there old Weyr had a nicer climate that was appropriate for casual flying. Faith also took time to notice that if Jevenoth’s had come for companionship, she wasn’t doing a very good job, Faith took a second and cocked her head looking at Li, she did look like a male, but she believe the Blue when he said she was female, after all, it was possible, if Ael had a blue, then there was no reason why Li couldn’t have the same thing. She would keep her thoughts to herself for now, returning most of her attention to the blue at her side, trying to grapple his tail off of her leg and into her tail instead. "Well whatever Faith was doing, Mireth decided to join in." Dinelle laughed, watching Kiera and Ael in an amused way. In fact, it was much the same way Mireth was watchin Faith and Zygeth as they played with each other. It reminded Dinelle of her days as a weyrling for some reason. The onlt explanation she could find was that she had teased Mireth a lot back then, though it was abviously in a different way and for different reasons than these riders here. She shrugged then, a warm half-smile splayed across her face. "I suppose if you both think so I'm hardly one to argue then." Dinelle glanced over at the other bluerider again, curious at just who he - for he did look masculin enough for her to think he was male - was. Though with a dragon as large as his blue, there was probably just as good a chance he was in fact a she. Dinelle hadn't ever known a blue on Pern to be that big, so she figured because of that and the fact that he had been traveling with another Timer made him a Timer as well. Mireth lowered herself to the ground with as fluid a motion as any other that ever carried her. She had hardly seemed to move at all, though she was now laying down rather than standing as she had been before. Then eyes both blues carefully again, not really saying anything, as was her way. She hadn't really had the chance to meet for any length of time those that had come to them from the other time. This would be quite interesting. And interesting it was. Mireth watched on as Faith and Zygeth went back and forth with their tails, one trying to catch the other and the other taunting the one. It made her think back fondly on her old weyrmate of so many turns. The thought made her smile, and she sat there chuckling to herself as they went on. The green nodded her agreement to Jevenoth's statement, sighing as she did so. She had never been the most acrobatic dragon in the air, but still. She was a flying creature, she had wings all the same. She belonged in the air as much as she did on the ground. That was part of being a dragon, afterall. 'Yes, I suppose you're right. With the winds here I find it much less disirable to take to the air for any recreational purpose, as much as it does pain me to say so.' Mireth rested her head then on her forepaws crossed before her. She looked at Jevenoth's rider curiously. So she was female it seemed. That wasn't really all that surprising, considering who they were talking to. 'There is much mystery surrounding you and your riders here Jevenoth. It doesn't surprise me that some would misunderstand you both. I do hope she finds what she is looking for though.' Mireth saw how differently Jevenoth's bonded was behaving in the conversation between the riders, but she supposed not much could be done if that was how she chose it to be. She would know best, afterall, when she should open up to another, and no one could force it on her. |

Aelae laughed, shaking her head. "Oh?" she drawled out, tapping her hand against her side, "Strange, because you seem to amuse me a lot." Then, her eyes narrowed as she reached out, grabbing Kiera across her waist, hoisting the Greenrider up in a show of strength and tossing Kiera over her shoulder. She shook her head then, grinning at Dinelle, "Ignore that statement. I do not think a rock with a wig is pretty. I have more taste that than." At this point, Zygeth snorted the light hued Blue still moving his tail away from Faith's playful grasp. He pointed out, quite bluntly, that, if his bonded did have better taste than that, it wasn't by much. This caused Aelae to cover her face with her free hand, shaking her head again. He seemed to be having far too much fun evading the Green's attempts of capture the tail, rumbling ever so slightly ever now and then. Watching them play and still keeping an eye out on his rider, the other Blue nodded in agreement to Mireth's statement. It was hard, after all, to live without the open skies. However, they will fly when the winter has ceased. Harder, yes, but they will stand it through and come out stronger. He titled his head ever so slightly, speaking in that gentle tone still. He spoke to Mireth in an almost wistful tone now as he agreed with her first point. However, it isn't as if there were that different, it was merely a shift in circumstances was all. As for his bonded, she would eventually find a friend, if one was patient enough to attempt to coax a friendship out of the frightened girl. It was Jevenoth himself who wanted more for Lihana. His head lowered slightly as he hummed softly before asking Mireth about her own bonded. |

“HAH! … that must mean I have some kind of flavor then,” in between the giggling and laughing of being hoisted around like some rag doll, after all it probably wouldn’t take much more than a stiff breeze to pick Kiera up, being so sharding tiny was a major problem sometimes. Random screams of “AEL PUT ME DOWN” and other random semi-yelling came from the green rider. “Dinelle, please make her put me down will be here all night if you don’t.” there was a slight playful poutiness to her tone, like she wanted down, but didn’t REALLY want to be put down. Faith was rather determined to get Zygeths tail, as it was obvious he was being his playful, mischievous self, and doing everything he could to NOT let her get her way, maybe diversionary tactics would work, she started to pretend to lose interest and was watching her rider and Ael, least she was having fun and not killing herself, it was the only other time she could step away was when someone else was near her. ’ Zygeth, what is it with yours, and mine, they act like hatchling sometimes don’t they?’ she chuckled out loud quiet happy but still trying to work on the distracting thing. (yay dinky post ... they will get longer again once we get back to it lol) |
