The hatching chambers were dug deep within the earth, expanded and then enforced with the help of chemicals and dragons alike. Ledges lined across the walls upon the top and in between, rows were carved out for any who wished to view the hatching. Not quite as large as the hatching sands in some other Weyrs, but large enough to serve its purpose and for a Gold to rest comfortably within its walls while smaller dragons sat upon the ledges.

And the first chamber was the largest out of the three within this Weyr, just like the Gold that now laid curled about her hardening clutch. She shifted the sands about, keeping her little ones warm. Checking them one more time, she then lifted her head, taking notice of a Blue that had ducked its head into the chamber through the entrance.
Swirling eyes blinked at her as the light from the glows caught his hide in just that right angle that caused a shimmering of star like markings to sparkle across the almost black background of his hue.

She blinked almost lazily, nodding her approval and watching as he slipped into the sands sliding into a comfortable spot away from the edge of her clutch. Respecting the space that she and her little ones needed.

The Gold felt it as her rider shifted her weight on her back, Felin leaning forwards to greet the Blue's rider as she came in and clambered up Jevenoth's back so that she too didn't need to sit on the hot sands without reason.
"Felin," Lihana responded with a slight nod that tired expression still on her face. Then again, the Bluerider always seemed tired, or so Supparith noticed. Her rider might not be overly fond of Jevenoth or His, but Supparith respected both of them. Outside of Wendelth and G'fish, Jevenoth and Lihana were the only ones whom the large Gold would both call by name. Tough the large Gold would not talk to either riders directly unless needed after all.

It is a late time Jevenoth, why are you and Lihana here?
The Blue ducked his head in an acknowledgement, shifting his weight slightly.
It has been a rough again. She wished to get out of the confines of her weyr for a while.
Ah... that is why you asked to spend the time here? A good idea, Felin had the same problem. That man continues to haunt her nights despite our leaving...

The two dragons fell into the silence shared by their riders. One of understanding and simply just a sort of companionship.

A scream tore from the the greenrider's throat, echoing against the barren walls of her weyr. She awoke, gasping for air, tears streaked down her face. She was greeted with darkness, and the bright, concerned eyes of her dragon. It comes more often now. The dream. The.. nightmare. Little upset her dragon, or worried her. Tropith was far too heated, too lustful of a dragon to waste much on time on emotions such as sadness or worry. But the tormenting nightmare that woke her rider every night, and disturbed her own sleep, was cause for concern. It was not a nightmare, but memory that haunted her rider. It haunted her physically and emotionally. The pain. It was with her. With them.

I thought it would be easier, Mine. Easier here. He does not even exist here, Tropith shifted as she spoke, the sound also echoing. Her eyes never left her rider. That's just it though, isn't it? He doesn't exist here. And neither do we, really. Should we. Elise's mind-voice was tinged with exhaustion. She sounded near tears again. No, Tropith amended. She sounded near panic. He doesn't exist, but I still can't forget it. It's worse. And it's not just him.. The face. It changes. You know that, Tropith. It changes.

The green sighed. Of course she knew that the face did not remain G'bem. It was constantly filtering through the first few who had been with her rider in Flights. All harsh men. All under the power of Dragonlust. None of them caring that bit by bit, they were destroying the girl. The Turns had not helped her rider's pain to ease. Time helped in several matters. It didn't help with this one. And she, Tropith, the greatest green of this time(or any other, frankly), could do nothing. "I'm going for a walk, Trope. I... I just need some air." Elise practically fled the chamber, not even bothering to change out of her night clothes. She just needed out.

The greenrider walked without purpose. There really weren't many places to go. Construction was ongoing, and only the Weyrbowl, some personal weyrs, and the Sands were completed. She chose the Sands as her destination. Perhaps seeing the eggs would cheer her.

Elise froze at the entrance. She had known the Queen would be here. She had not been counting on the two riders and a blue. She was painfully aware of her disheveled appearance. Her face was red, it was obvious that she had recently been crying. Dark circles beneath her eyes emphasized her lack of sleep. And here she was, in front of the Weyrwoman and a fellow Timer. Wonderful.

In the contemplative silence, it is hard to miss the appearance of somebody else. Another rider, another Timer nonetheless. Though her dragon wasn't anywhere in sight, they would, of course, recognize each other to some extent. Tell all knew one another in one way or another. The ten of them being from another time and another place, though in a crowd, one could barely tell.

Such was the way of life. While Elise was a mess, she wasn't the only one. Felin was, out of the three of them, the only one who had taken the time out to make herself presentable. Weyr colors and the basic of a rider's outfit. The Goldrider nodded her head at the Greenrider before staring down at the sands, her mind clearly somewhere else as well. From atop of Jevenoth Lihana merely gave Elise one glance, taking in her appearance just as worn out as the Bluerider's before grunting slightly.
"Seems like none of us will be getting any sleep," she muttered. Supparith blinked once then before moving her snout over to where the rider was, huffing at the Bluerider in disapproval. Lihana merely sighed, "It's the truth though isn't it?"

"We all came around here trying to get away from something," Felin spoke softly from where she was. "Or to follow something else, and for some of us," she gave Lihana a sharp look then, "It was both. Is it really that surprising for us to have restless nights?"
Though restless was a bit of an understatement. Felin eyed Lihana wearily and Lihana merely meeting her gaze in that blank manner. The Bluerider knew what it was that she woke up screaming of, but... Felin never knew what it was that kept Lihana up into the late nights.

The Weyrwoman merely looked back at Elise though, shaking her head, "Come on. Since you're awake as well, join us. There's hardly anything else to do in this dead of night."
