'You haven't gone on your merry way yet, so it must not be all true...' Rhiunth wasn't as good returning Sirth's teasing this time, but he could get points for trying, couldn't he? At any rate, he turned his thoughts to their pair of riders a moment and tried to guess how long he thought it would take before one of them actually went to see the other just because they wanted to, leaving behind any silly excuse. Sirth was probably right about that. Lilly had come to him when she needed advie even though she knew N'kar wouldn't be there, so that could be a start. He nodded, following Sirth's nudging to look at the pair. 'That's true. You think they'll take just as long next time?' In truth, N'kar hadn't really cared whether or not Lilly was contagious. She probably was, and chances were that in a few days N'kar would find himself sniffling all over his weyr now. That didn't matter to him now though. And besides, that would give Lilly a reason to make him try that odd-sounding cure of hers like she said she would earlier, wouldn't it? But he genuinely thought that she looked like she could use it, so hug her he had, and it seemed that she didn't mind much either as she clung back onto him. Not letting her go, he nodded in response to her answer. It did seem like a better idea for him to wait outside for her. It wouldn't do to get on bad terms with the weyrleader over something like that, and, though he wasn't going to admit it out loud, it would make him feel better if he could be nearby. It occured to him then that Lilly had stopped stuttering, and that thought made him smile. "If you think it would help, I'll gladly go along and wait close by." N'kar was only too glad to see how Lilly had seemed to have brightened up considerably in the past few moments following her explanation of what had happened this morning. It was much better than standing there helplessly while she stood freaking out about something that neither of them could really predict. Yeah, definitely beat that. He would have to thank Rhiunth for that a lot later. Stepping off slightly ahead of Lilly so that he could lead the way, N'kar left one arm wrapped around her shoulders as they made their way in the direction of the lake. 'I appreciate that, but I think you deserve more points in the matter than I do, Sirth. You did the most here, and it was your idea that was suggested, not mine or N'kar Mine's, though no one but us knows that... Though I'm not opposed to that being lazy idea though.' Rhiunth was feeling a bit modest right then it seemed, but at the thought of being lazy the brown stretched his claws in a very decided manner and sighed contentedly, turning to once again nuzzle his favorite green dragon. |

’ well you see my dear, that’s because I’m not a regular female, I like what I have, err scratch that, I love what I have, and therefore, going along my merry way would be silly, as that would take me away from you and well, that would make for a unhappy Sirth.’ as she talked she rolled a little closer and leant against Rhiunth more, trying to get as close as she can, and grabbing a hold to his tail, and humming happily. ‘Pfft’ that was anyone’s guess as she scoffed, sometimes Lilly could be so unpredictable, but, she turned to look as hers walked away with N’kar, and saw the smile that she had and felt her emotions, ’no, I don’t think they will she chuckled happily snuggling back into Rhiunth. There wasn’t much minding to it, Lilly felt safe, and protected with N’kar, granted she could feel that with her dragon as well, but it was slightly different, her dragon could only provide so much, almost like a mother with a child, I guess you could say N’kar filled a niche that wasn’t there before, also it was a reprieve for Sirth, she didn’t mind, but if there was someone else to help with it she wouldn’t complain, especially if she had someone to be with too, and not feeling like a third wheel. Lilly would probably enjoy watching N’kar sip at this horrible thing that her mother makes, she would feel bad at the same time though, it would a catch twenty two. Lilly stuttering had stopped because she wasn’t so worried anymore, a combination of him just being there, and the fact that she felt safe, and it felt that he actually cared about her, all combined into a happy Lilly, if her brother around he would punch the air and yell ‘for yay!’ but that’s for another day. Lilly smiled more and more as she stood there, clinging onto N’kar, the only thing she could think of to say was, “Thank you, Nekarian.” Lilly also place an arm around N’kar her other arm dangling by her side, playing with the end of her sleeve, although no one would probably notice, she hummed thoughtfully, looking out at the lake, “oh how I love the water,” they weren’t even close and she was already going on about it. Suddenly, two small cracks in the air could be heard as two rather obvious, things appeared, one dove right at Lilly taking to hide inside her sweater, the other landing and perching itself on Lillys head and shoulder sniffing curiously at N’kar, he was blue, the other one darted into hiding so fast that you couldn’t really tell. “Xenth, get off my head …” a somewhat annoyed but playful tone came across from Lilly, the thing then shot up onto N’kar taking a stand on his shoulder instead, looking down at Lilly as if to say ‘well fine then,’ “sorry, these are my lizards, you might remember the blue one curiously went after Li the other day… the other one is hiding in my sweater and probably won’t come out, that one Is Xenth, the one in here is called Sirenia,” Lilly had stopped to explain what was going on and hoped that N’kar didn’t mind the rather intrusive blue flit. Sirth chuckled happily as Rhiunth commented back ‘you know what Mr. just accept it and be quiet about it, I’m enjoying the cuddle time, and arguing requires waaaaay too much effort, even playfully.’ lets hope that this laziness that Sirth seems to gain when she was around Rhi, didn’t happen every time, she might become a very lazy dragon if that were the case. Sirth had a point there, at least as far as Rhiunth understood it, and it was definitely a point he wouldn't argue with. The happiness when they were together was just one more added on to the list of things that they and Theirs had in common. Rhiunth wouldn't trade it to be with anyone else. 'Then in that case, I'm more than happy to be able to provide that for you!' He gave up his tail to hers easily, and found himself draping his wing over Sirth much the same way he had been the last time they were together. 'Neither do I.' Surely one of the two of them would have to come up with a reason to go see the other soon. N'kar was caught a bit by surprise to hear his full name being used. It had been 7 turns since anyone had called him Nekarian. He smiled almost distantly then as he tried to remember the last time it had happened. Well whoever it had been, it hadn't ever sounded quite so nice as it did now. He chuckled to himself as they stood there together. If there was anyone on all of Pern that he could do anything like this with, it was Lilly. For a moment, N'kar felt stupid. Of course the lake was a good idea. He had just about forgotten Lilly had said she liked the water. He continued walking toward the water. It wasn't the prettiest body of water he had ever seen, but it was the their lake either way, salty or not, underground or above. N'kar was more or less oblivious to the rest of the world at this point, only really paying attention to Lilly, the ever present conciousness that was Rhiunth, and his own musings. The cracks that sounded nearby were completely unexpected, and N'kar was confused for a moment before he realized what was going on. The two flits that appeared were obviously Lilly's as they dove straight for her. They hadn't been around much last time, but after seeing them N'kar did remember them, if vaguely. N'kar laughed, shaking his head as she apologized for the little blue one that had taken up a place on his shoulder after being shooed rom Lilly's head. He lifted his free hand and went to stroke him, provided Xenth would allow it. "It's fine. They're not causing any problems, unless Sirenia is trying to subtly protect you." He assured, regarding the blue thing on his shoulder. "Hello Xenth, nice to meet you properly." Obviously he didn't expect any real kind of response from him, but he said it anyway. Rhiunth chuckled along with Sirth. 'Fine, fine, I guess I can accept it if I have to.' He teased, acting like that was such a hard thing to do when really it wasn't. |

Sirth was again in her happy spot, and it seemed her’s would be safe for a while so she was doubly happy, she mumbled something silly while she lay there rubbing her head against Rhiunth, it sounded like ’ This is my Rhiunth, there aren’t many like him, and this one’s mine!’ the green too happy to realize her silliness again, oh well she was enjoying herself at least. Sirth started contemplating the reasons to what theirs might come up to go see each other, she knew Lilly would make some excuse about wanting to show him something, which was a legitimate excuse really. ’so would yours have an excuse to going to see Lilly-mine or would he do it just because’ Lilly hadn’t really notice that N’kar was paying so much attention to her, and once her flits appeared it was less noticed, but she knew subconsciously, it was probably better that way, she would become embarrassed, and probably shy away again, eventually she would accept it, but it would probably have to hit a point where she realized it and spent an evening shying away, even though, she had admitted to caring for N’kar (and so quickly too) it would still take a little more sinking in. Lilly Scowled at the pesty blue, he was going to sit there and soak up the petting as well, he was very much more social then Sirenia was. “That … pest! … is the one that went toward Li, the other one, isn’t quite so social, I hope you don’t mind him sitting there for quite a while, as well, one he gets petted he tends to sit and hope for more.” she stared at the little blue thing and he stared back, like two siblings arguing. Lilly finally shook her head, and chuckled lightly, then turned to look at the lake, “well, shall we carry on, I … might be … just a little nuts.” She paused and looked over at the water again, “but I think the water… might be calling me…” she stared at the thrashing waterfall in the back ground as it tumbled over the tops and into the lake below, “uh, I mean…” she blushed slightly realizing she had admitted that out loud, sometimes she could be a bit slow. ‘like you have a choice, I have you now, and you are mine so there! no Sirth wasn’t a possessive dragon, she was just very very childish at times but always realized when she had a good thing, and well, it didn’t get much better than being under the wing of her favorite brown. |

Rhiunth was perfectly happy to sit there all day, soaking up as much of Sirth's attention as she would give him and showering her with as much of his as wasn't being used on N'kar currently. 'Hmm?' Sirth's silly comment got a light laugh from Rhiunth as the brown cocked his head slightly to one side and looked at her curiously. That was something he hadn't heard before. Taking a moment to think about N'kar and how he was, Rhiunth knew his rider would most likely come up with some excuse to go see Lilly. The most likely he could think of would be him saying he wanted to check on her to make sure she was doing alright, not that that wasn't a nice thing to do or that he didn't genuinely care - because he did. It just seemed like a convenient reason for him to drop by. And that was just the first. 'I'm almost positive he would, as silly as that is. I don't see the point of it, but he's never been much like me in that area.' Rhiunth shook his head, laughing to himself. He did love His ever so much, but sometimes he seemed like such a silly man. N'kar hadn't really thought much on the fact that he had grown so attached to Lilly in so short a time. Really, that was something completely unlike him. And yet, it had happened, and he wasn't going to object to it. He continued to run his fingers gently over Xenth a few more times before letting his hand drop back to his side where it had been before. He didn't mind if the little blue stayed there a while. He wasn't doing any harm. "Well he's probably stuck there now if he's hoping I'll keep on petting him." N'kar laughed. Truthfully, if Xenth sat there long enough and was persistant enough, N'kar would probably end up petting him again at some point, whether he meant to or not. He shook his head again. "Don't worry about him, he's fine up there." Directing his attention back at Lilly then, he nodded and made to continue on their way to the lake. "Well, if it's calling you, we better not keep it waiting." He had no problem playing along. Rhiunth pretended to thrash around for a moment, not trying too hard of course, but still. The giving up, he sighed. 'I suppose you're right... You have me, and I'm not going anywhere.' Good luck getting rid of him now! Though it didn't seem like either of them wanted that much anyway. Then turning, he went back to nuzzling Sirth. |

Sirth hummed questioningly, ‘you’ve never heard that before’ she took a turn at cocking her head to the side, she afterwards thought which is honestly something that takes effort for the green sometimes, coming to a conclusion that seeing as she made it on the spot, that he probably hadn’t heard it before, so it kind of made sence. Sirth hummed again, wondering about different reasons Lilly might give, ’like what?’ she really wanted to know because then she could sit there and tell Lilly that it was an excuse for him to come see her and maybe get her to blush in front of him, although that wasn’t really that hard and she tend to do that to herself. Lilly shook her head smiling, looking up and her proud little blue flitter, “you know they only showed up now because, I mentioned the lake and they enjoy the water too.” She wondered why she drew two flitters; it seemed like a good match, although she suspected that Sirenia was a closer match to her then her own dragon and Xenth. Lilly then looked at N’kar slight tilt in her head, looking back and forth between him and her flitter, “well, if … you say so … I guess I’ll make an exception … this time…”. Nodding again, glad that her comment wasn’t taking oddly, or immaturely, she slowly grabbed onto N’kars arm and started walking towards the lake again. It would be hard for Sirth to hold onto Rhiunth, as she were under his wing and well it gave him a rather large head start if he wanted away, but she knew he wasn’t really trying, she giggled lightly at him mentally, ’good I’m glad we understand each other, there will be no leaving of the dragon… for a while at least.’ it was different watching how the dragons had just basically fit into a comfort zone with each other, where Lilly and N’kar it seemed were still trying to either really admit their feelings, or actually realize what they were feeling, silly humans Sirth thought, they just need to get on with it. |

'No, I can't say I have.' Rhiunth shook his head as he admitted it. Actually, he thought that it as something Sirth had made up, so he was a little surprised when she asked if he hadn't heard it before. 'Is that something they said a lot at your old weyr?' That was a perfectly possible explanation in his mind. Different weyrs had their different sayings and jokes. Rhiunth thought again about the different excuses N'kar might come up with. 'He might say that he's coming to check up on her now that he knows Yours is sick. Or he might make up some question that he says he has to ask Yours, though I think the first is more likely. Would Yours come up with any excuses?' Rhiunth was more curious about it than anything else. N'kar didn't have a flit of his own, and he hadn't ever really known anyone that had very well, so when Lilly said that hers liked the water he wasn't sure if that was supposed to be odd for the little things or not. Still he smiled at the comment and looked back at little blue Xenth on his shoulder again for a moment. "All the more reason to get over there faster then, huh?" He willingly let his arm go to Lilly's grasp and went back on his way toward the lake once again. It wasn't that far off now. "So out of curiousity Lilly, how long have you had Xenth and Sirenia?" N'kar knew firelizards weren't like dragons in many ways, one of which being that they were much less subjective when it came to impression and would impress to someone much younger than a dragon would. It was just a bit of wondering on his part that had sparked the question really. Rhiunth, meanwhile, was having a wonderful time over with Sirth. 'Of course, a perfect understanding. No leaving anytime soon.' It as true. If he wanted to, Rhiunth could make an escape fairly easily. But why would he want to do that? He obviously knew he had something here, both for him and for His. To leave would just be stupid. |

Sirth just chuckled it was good fun to make it seem like he should know but wouldn’t, Sirth is an evil, evil dragon at times but she would never admit to it, ‘hmm no not really, it was pretty much just me, but I like it and it makes me smile when I apply it to you, or my-Lilly-mine, it’s like the saying, I’m unique, just like everyone else, except more fun, because it’s like saying, you unique, but there are many like you, but you happen to be mine, so any other greens and golds better stay away, for I am a mean mean dragon when I get mad…’ she growled mentally sort of like a feline. ‘aww that would be cute, and make Lilly-mine blush, but she would love it too, it would be kind of funny if he was like’ she tried to do her best N’kar impression. ‘I came to ask if I could have a hug!’ she giggled at herself, that dragon could entertain herself. Really! Xenth sat happily perched on N’kar should tail dangling onto his other for a bit of balance as they walked. Lilly nodded, “yeah, let’s go,” she smiled. She had to think about how long she had had her flits, “hmm, Xenth I have had for a long time, since, two turns after I met the brown Xenth, the dragon that saved me, Sirenia, only about three turns now, Xenth is rather protective of her as well, almost like a big brother…” she smiled at the thought of her flits they had been very good to her and were rather easy to keep, and never really getting into trouble. As they walked Lilly sneezed again, sniffing slightly afterwards, it made her think for a second though, “I … don’t … suppose your… going to stop me, from wading into the water, a little, are you?” she figured he might try and talk her out of it as she already had a cold and probably didn’t need to get anything else, although she was convinced the water really wouldn’t affect her like that. Sirth nodded happily ‘good, I’m glad, don’t forget I’m smaller then you and probably very much faster, if you try to escape I will chase you down’ she glared at him, but she was playing of course, he should know that by her playful tone at least. |

Rhiunth was confused to a mild degree when Sirth went on to explain that she had pretty much been the only one to say something like that. From the way she had made it sound, he thought it must have been really common at her old weyr or something. He only dwelled on it for a moment though before forgetting about it and happily nuzzling his favorite green once again. 'Well then, I'm glad you like to think of it that way. I wouldn't worry about other greens or golds though. I'm sure they wouldn't dare come near me with you there to make sure they know that I am yours and you are mine.' Though he held a slightly playfully teasing tone in his voice, Rhiunth was pretty muh serious about that. He laughed at Sirth's impression of N'kar, both mentally and a low rumble in his chest. 'I think Mine would probably be blushing the whole time as well. He does mean well though, and he does care about Lilly Yours. I know he does.' Rhiunth was sure of that. Still, the thought of N'kar going all the way to find Lilly and ask her for a hug the way Sirth had said was pretty funny. It wasn't really a surprise that Lilly had named her first flit after the dragon that had saved her. That was quite the important event, afterall. N'kar thought it was kind of sweet too, kind of like a tribute to the much larger, much more brown Xenth. The brownrider shot another glance at little blue Xenth balancing on his shoulder and went to pet him a few more times. "I'm sure he's a great 'big brother' to her. He seems like he would be." How N'kar would know that, he couldn't really be sure. Something about the little blue flit just made him think that about him. N'kar stopped again at Lilly's sneezing and looked at her questioningly, then shook his head. "Well, whether or not it's a good idea for you to go into the water I'm not sure. You do already have a cold and I would hate for you to catch something else or get sicker. If you think it would help though, I think you should go for it." N'kar knew Lilly liked the water, and he wouldn't try to stop her if she really wanted to get into it. He was convinced that sometimes the best thing for illness was to spend time around something you like, so a little time in the lake might actually be good for Lilly. Rhiunth playfully looked away from Sirth's glare, trying very hard not to bust out laughing at the image of him trying to escape and being chased down by Sirth. 'That's probably true. I'm not by any means a slow dragon, but as you are smaller than me, you are probably faster, or at least more agile. I'm probably not a very hard target for you. Plus I would have a hard time hiding too.' Rhiunth looked down the length of himself and nodded. Yes, he would be pretty hard to hide somewhere. He couldn't fit in a good deal of the caves, so that definitely narrowed down where Sirth would have to look for him. |

‘ I wonder if they make shirts with words on it, and you could get them for ours and have them say ‘hello my name x my dragon is x and my dragon belongs to x.’ that would be really really helpful sometimes, and then, everyone would know… what you think?’ he was probably thinking ‘good lord Sirth where do you come up with this stuff.’ Although Sirth thought it was a really neat idea. She stopped with her thoughtful gaze for a second realizing she had gone off track a little, ‘uh, sorry dear, I didn’t mean to go off randomly like that.’ she nuzzled him again to try and make up for it though; she didn’t want him to think she wasn’t paying attention. Sirth knew he cared about Lilly, she didn’t need Rhiunth to tell her that for her to know, she could tell, ‘yeah, I can tell her cares, My-Lilly-mine, although a nervous wreck, knows more then she seems, and she wouldn’t let him close if she didn’t think he cared about her, despite how much she might deny it to me, I know… us ebil draguns! We know all! When she first impressed the little flitter and bond to it, the only thing that came to her mind was Xenth, the most influential event that happened to her, it only seemed natural, Sirenia was named after Sirens, a sea which? Well least the name sounds nice. Xenth chirped happily after he was petted again. Lilly smiled, N’kar was right, the two had gotten along so well it was quiet surprising, but pleasantly so. Lilly didn’t think it would really make it worse; she had always gone swimming when she had cold back home and nothing bad ever came of it, “well maybe, I could not worry you and just dip, my feet, and then not worry you, as, I really, wouldn’t want, to do that.” She smile up at him as they walked, she was pretty happy with that idea, not that she wasn’t unhappy; maybe he would join her as well. Sirth laughed at the thought of Rhiunth hiding, behind a small rock or another amusingly small item, ‘I don’t think any dragon would be very good at hiding, unless it were a blue in water, or a green in tree … wait you could hide in mud! Ok so you wouldn’t be very clean after but it would work!. Sirth had a dirty mind sometimes. Sirth also looked down the length of Rhiunth, happily swirls in her eyes, ‘yeah, but, I like the length of my Rhiunth, for he is a very handsome dragon, and there is more to look over and marvel at! |

Rhiunth looked at Sirth curiously. Where exactly she had come up with that thought he had no idea. Seriously, he was almost convinced that there was some part of her mind that was always going, thinking about anything and everything. He really couldn't think of any other way to explain how she seemed to come up with these seemingly random ideas so fast. He shook his head, laughing. 'That's an odd thought, dear Sirth, and I'd have to ask what exactly made you think of that. I do think it could be useful though. Kind of like knots, only more specific! You could tell Yours and then when everyone on Pern is wearing them she can be proud that she started it. Though... That sounds a little wordy. Maybe we can shorten it somehow?' Rhiunth accepted her nuzzling. He wasn't worried that she wasn't listening. Not in the slightest. He chuckled mentally. 'We are evil, aren't we?' Maybe Sirth more so than him, but Rhiunth wasn't completely innocent himself, and he knew it. N'kar smiled at Xenth's happy chirping. At least one of Lilly's flits didn't seem to mind him so much. "I had a chance to try and get a firelizard once. It was just before I impressed Rhiunth and our weyr had just reieved a clutch. I think another candidate I knew at the time impressed one, but I decided not to go down there. I suppose I had other things to think about at the time." N'kar shrugged. Actually, now that he thought about it, he couldn't really remember if that candidate had even gotten a flit. If he had, he couldn't remember the color. His brows knit together for a moment as he tried to remember, only to relax when he realized that there was little chance of him remembering at all. He smiled at Lilly then, glad to hear she didn't want to worry him. "If that's what you think want to do, I won't argue. I don't want you to stay back only because of me though!" He really hoped she wasn't only going to sit at the lake's edge because of him. Rhiunth found the images of dragons and their hiding places amusing. Some seemed a little impractical though. 'I suppose that could work, but I would need one large muddle puddle to be able to hide in it. Just because I'm the same color as the mud doesn't mean someone wouldn't notice my large self sticking out of the top of it. I have yet to see mud naturally blob into the shape of a dragon afterall.' Wouldn't that be quite the amazing sight? Rhiunth made some sound similar to a pur then at Sirth's compliment. 'Your Rhiunth is very glad to hear that you think he is handsome and marvelous, but he would like you to know that he feels he has a hard time comparing to your own beauty and charm.' |

Its Sirth! Who knows where her ideas come from, for they aren’t the general thoughts of a dragon, she just thinks of things and goes with it, she’s way more of a free thinker then Lilly is, or at least she’s more likely to talk about it, ’ I don’t know, my mind goes, ‘HEY! This would be kind of neat!’ And I’m like ‘yeah! It is!’ and I have to tell someone, normally its My-Lilly-mine, but if you’re here, im going to tell you instead, most time Lilly-mine just laughs, or rolls her eyes at me she can be very mean at times Sirth was kidding of course, but she enjoyed telling someone her ideas that seemed to be interested. Shorten it. Hmm how could you make it shorter, ‘ how about ‘My name is x I belong to x’ hmm and on the back it could have the rest or something… or flaps! … oh dear, how Sirths mind works. “they, are quite a bit easier to keep then big dragons, they tend to look after themselves, least, mine do, they can be a pain, but there about as loyal as a big dragon, they won’t ever leave you … but, you probably knew that,” Lilly was just idally chatting as they walked now, she was far into a comfortable slot with N’kar now that she only talk quietly, without the nervous sounding part. “The only, difference really is there mental capacities, there intelligent, for the most part.” She glared at Xenth quickly, then went back to her talking, “they don’t really relay words, its more of images, or feelings, and having two it can get confusing, like at the moment I can tell that Xenth is, happy, and Sirenia, well she’s sleepy, but that’s always the case.” It may have been a little off topic but close to it, “why didn’t you go anyways?” Lilly was glad that he wouldn’t stop her, she was pretty much decided to at least get a little wet, it wasn’t that cold, in her opinion. As they started to get closer she had to pause for a moment to take her boots off, wasn’t much point getting your feet wet if they were in the boots, she started towards the water at a faster pace holding onto N’kars arm till she was too far to keep holding on, and skipped over to the water, and just walked right in, not even thinking or flinching at the somewhat cold water, it didn’t bother her the water back home was colder, she stood in the water with it up half way to her knee and tilted her head back to look up to the roof, arms dangling by her side swaying slightly, “gosh, how I love the feel of water.” She turned around finally look over N’kar smiling, with a look as if you say ‘coming?’ Sirth chuckled ‘hey, big dragon like mud puddles are totally possible, you just need a dragon to jump in a big puddle and get covered and then stand very still, it could fool millions … or maybe just a few but I think it would be pretty awesome.’ she joined Rhiunth in his purring-humming, ‘thank you my dear, I’m so glad that you think so too. I really like that, you think more of me, then some, silly, stuck up, gold…’ Sirth turned away slightly ‘embarrassed’ at the fact she had really made an uncalled for comment, but still it was true! |

Rhiunth was obviously not quite as... thoughtful as Sirth, and he knew it. He wasn't opposed to listening to Sirth's ideas though. She had quite a few, and they were usually pretty interesting. Though the conversation with her mind sounded a little funny. 'However it works, you have the most interesting ideas sometimes. Lilly Yours just doesn't understand them the same way you do. I don't think riders' minds work the same way dragons' minds do. They seem to be more... Serious most of the time. Or maybe that's just N'kar Mine.' If Rhiunth could have shrugged, he would have. He couldn't really say about other riders, but from discussions with other dragons over the turns that seemed to hold fairly true. There could always be exceptions though. 'Flaps could work... But they seem a little impractical. If you were going to wear your name all over yourself, it would probably be best to wear it that it could be seen.' N'kar nodded slowly, listening to Lilly's description of her flits. Yes, he had heard similar things said about them in general before. He had also heard that they could be quite useful for carrying messages for those that didn't have dragons of their own. He laughed at Lilly's confusing comment. "I would imagine that might be kind of confusing. They don't use something quite as clear as words, so more than one might be hard to keep straight?" In his mind, trying to keep track of the feelings of to seperate creatures might be kind of difficult, especially if they were upset about something. "I'm not really sure now. I think I was just more preoccupied with the upcoming hatching to want to try keeping track of a flit. I've heard stories about them getting into trouble on hatching sands before. Though, I suppose there's not much reason for me not to now. Maybe if I get a chance I might try and impress one someday." N'kar was kind of thinking aloud now. He shook his head, waiting for Lilly as she removed her boots, then getting dragged along behind her until she dropped his arm and went right into the water. He watched her for a moment as she waded out, then in response to her questioning smile he jogged up the remainder of the way to the edge of the water. He stopped then to remove his own boots. It wouldn't do to have to squish around the rest of the day in wet boots afterall. And then he followed Lilly's way out into the cold water. It caught him a little by surprise and he did inhale a bit sharply in response to it, but the lake up in the mountains had been colder. It was fed by cold mountian streams, so it was usually pretty icy. He caught up to Lilly and then held his arms open in an enompassing gesture. "Now what?" 'But wouldn't the mud eventually slide off? It would be hard to keep yourself covered in mud without moving I would think, especially for bigger dragons. And of course there's the matter of breathing.' Rhiunth looked at Sirth curiously, and even a little confused and a slight bit concerned. 'You've had problems with a gold?' Rhiunth probably shouldn't pry, but he wanted to know. Sirth seemed a little bothered by it. 'I'm sure she didn't compare to you...' Rhiunth kind of mumbled it, though he said it loud enough for Sirth to hear and understand. |

Sirth thought for a moment over what Rhiunth has said to her, for the most part she agreed but there was one specific dragon that came to mind from her wing that she thought broke the groove they had just come up with, ’well actually now that you say that I know a green in my wing, her rider and herself are really goofy, and play around a lot, they were out in the bowl a sevenday ago, playing around, mind you I see them a lot doing that.’ she seemed to talk in a tone with a smile on it, glad that at least someone in Pern could have a good time with their dragon. Yeah, flaps did seem a little awkward, ‘well they could do it like this, have say for Lilly-mine, it could just have a green shirt with Lilly-mine, and then have Sirth under it, and then Rhiunth under that, or next to it, then its, Lilly-mine, Sirth, Rhiunth, name, bonded dragon, and dragon’s mate… I think that would be nice… better yet! The sitching for the dragons names could be the color of the dragons, that would be easiest I think.’ she sat with a proud posture for a moment at the idea that she thought was most fabulous. “It’s almost like, having two people talk to you at the same time,” she reached into her sweater grabbing Sirenia, and pulling her out. “although, this one is pretty quiet most time, I guess … she takes after me…” she hugged the flit slightly letting it go as it crawled its way back into her sweater, Lilly shaking her head at it and smiling, silly flit. Upcoming hatchings could be stressful, especially for candidates and clutching dragon, Lilly remembered that the biggest reason she did so well was because of a single person, but, she didn’t want to think about her anymore. “Hmm,” a happy hum from the Lilly one, she thought having flitters was a good idea; they kept your mind active and gave you something to distract you especially if you didn’t want to deal with people. Lilly chuckled at the reaction of N’kar with the cold water, she knew what the reaction was, when she had done it at home and people had gone to follow her in only to go running out again because it was too cold, “hmm, think it’s cold?” she giggled a little, as she watched him wade out to her. What now, well, it was really up to both of them, they could stand there in the cold water, but that really wasn’t the best idea, as the lack of movement just makes you colder, they could walk the beach, or they could go swimming, or they could get back out but that would defeat the point of coming in to begin with. One thing Lilly knew she wanted to do but was maybe embarrassed to do it. Or was she? She figured as both of them were rather shy people that he would be about as reluctant to try anything risky as they would be afraid of upsetting the other, but N’kar was probably worse off than Lilly was, well at least that was Lillys thinking. As N’kar she stood there, she looked around casually, seeing if there was any one around, which there was, but not really within a distance to bother her. Lilly move back over to N’kar slowly, stand in front of him for a moment look over towards there dragons for a second, thinking mainly on whether she should or not, eventually it just sort of happened. She stepped forward and clung onto the front of N’kar, then quickly stood on her toes, so she was tall enough and kisses N’kar, hopefully he wouldn’t react fast enough for her to miss or something horrible, even though she only kissed him for a moment, after she had she stared toward the ground and rested the top of her head against him, and back to her rather jittery voice commented “s-s-sorry, p-p-please excuse me a se-second wh-while I tur-turn back f-from b-being a t-tot-tomato,” because, she was more red then she had ever been in her life now, it wasn’t a shame of what she had done, but a worry that N’kar might not of wanted it… Sirth thought again, and started to comment about Rhiunths comment ‘well, tr … what… DEAR RUNNER BEAST WHAT WAS THAT!’ Sirth rolled from under the wing of Rhiunth bouncing onto her feet and looking towards her Lilly-mine, but relaxed somewhat when she saw how she was reacting, ‘oh wow, I, uh, wow, um, I … think I need to sit down haha!’ she looked over to Rhiunth, he would probably have an idea what she was talking about, Lilly had so much emotion flowing though her at one moment that it had flooded onto Sirth, and she had expected Rhiunth would have SOME idea of how his rider was feeling, she stood there looking over, but decided to turn around ’quick don’t watch them, but tell me what yours is feeling right now.’ |

Rhiunth was glad to hear about the other dragon in Sirth's wing. Sometimes it was nice to hear about 'the strange ones', the ones that broke a rule that seemed to apply to most everyone you knew. He chuckled, trying to imagine what the pair must look like, playing around with each other. 'It's good to know there are exceptions sometimes. I remember when I was barely hatched I used to bother N'kar Mine into playing with me. He wasn't very good at it, I'm guessing because he didn't play much with other weyrfolk before that. Maybe I should try it again...' The idea of ull-grown Rhiunth playing around like a hatchling again was pretty comical. He listened to Sirth go on about her shirt idea. Her solutions actually seemed pretty practical, expecially the one with the colored thread. 'I like the colored thread idea best I think. I think some people might not be too pleased to have to wear the same color all the time. This could actually work.' Rhiunth nodded. That would be a great way to keep tabs on who was who and who shared a weyr with who and all those kinds of things. "Rhiunth can do enough talking I think he's two people sometimes." N'kar joked. On a bad day, the silly beast could almost have a conversation with himself inside N'kar's head. Now that Lilly had pulled Sirenia out of her sweater, N'kar finally got a good look at the green flitter. She was a cute little thing, as far as any little green flit was. "That's not a bad thing." N'kar said, shaking his head. He meant for both Lilly and Sirenia, though he wasn't exactly being specific. It could be left open to interpretation. The brownrider glanced briefly over at Lilly as she 'hmm'ed, wondering what exactly she meant by it, but he didn't ask. He could probably use a flit of his own if for no other reason than to have something else to keep him company without him having to sit around uncomfortably in large drowded tunnels and caverns. He didn't think it was a big deal or anything though. He had Rhiunth afterall. N'kar laughed, a little embarrassed by the way he had been caught off guard by the water temperature. It wasn't like he wasn't used to cold water afterall. He shook his head. "Yeah, a little. I know, I'm a wimp, huh?" He made fun of himself lightheartedly. At least he hadn't run back out the way he had come and left Lilly to swim or splash about alone, right? He wasn't that bothered by it anyway. When N'kar had asked what now, he had no way of guessing just what Lilly would do. He was thinking more along the lines of swimming or something like that, so when Lilly stepped in, well to say he was caught off guard would be somewhat of an understatement. For a moment, he stood there, unable to really form a coherent sentence. It wasn't that he didn't want it, because in truth there probably wasn't a thing on Pern that could have made him happier. He was just surprised. N'kar wouldn't have tried that himself for fear of messing everything up. He had to give Lilly credit for being brave enough to do it herself. Then finally he managed to come back to reality. Smiling, he burried his face in Lilly's hair. "Lilly..." It was a whisper, a kind of test to make sure he still had a voice to speak with more than anything else. Though, on second thought, he didn't really know what to say. "That... that was bold." Wow, way to ruin a moment N'kar. What a great time to be as socially awkward as any teenage candidate in the weyr. His voice was kind though, happy. And his expression. If Lilly would look up she would see just how much that had meant to him. Then, rather than let her stare uncertainly at the ground (and hopefully to relieve her worry that he was in any way upset about that) N'kar gently lifted her face and kissed her back. The only thing running through his mind at that moment was hope that Lilly didn't hate him for it. If it hadn't been for the fact that Rhiunth had been hit by nothingless than a wall of emotion from N'kar at about the same instant, he probably would have thought she was trying to avoid answering his question. The truth of it was that there were more important things going on now. Refolding his wing now that Sirth was no longer underneath it, he whipped his neck around to look at their riders, only to turn back when Sirth advised it. Though he was pretending to be interested in something on the ground in front of him, he was quite ammused. 'Can't say I saw that coming. Mine is quite surprised.' He almost snickered. 'He's happy too, I think. A bit embarrassed, but he's normally like that. Lilly Yours was brave, but I think it was a good thing. Though N'kar Mine might have wanted to do that himself, he was far too afraid to actually do it. How is Lilly Yours doing?' |

Sirth chuckled lightly at the thought of a little cute Rhiunth, ‘awwing’ at him, she remembered that Lilly would only play with her when they were alone, but she knew why, and she understood, and she took every moment she could. ‘aww, I bet you were the cutest little brown dragon ever! she was also profusely giggling as she said that, she thought he would have been a brown but the comment itself was very cliché. Sirth hummed happily at the thought of her final idea, it wasn’t really very viable though, I mean how many dragons had you seen in Pern with a stall at the market, ‘the issue is, we could never pull it off, could you imagine either of ours being effective sales people? she wasn’t trying to be mean, she was just being truthful really. Lilly chuckled, she had no idea to Rhiunths personality, as she had only had a brief mental encounter with him, and rubbed him a little, so hearing that he was a very talkative dragon was rather interesting, she imagined him and Sirth would get along very well, as Sirth tended to never stop talking as well. She didn’t comment on it, just smiled. It wasn’t a bad thing? Being quiet, well she had hoped not, and hearing from N’kar made her feel better about her quietness, although, while around him she really didn’t suffer so badly from it, and really, she felt she could be herself, without the fear of him thinking bad things about her, or commenting about her and making her feel weird and awkward, at least most of the time. A wimp? Well not really not that many people really enjoy the idea of freezing cold water, she could understand the shock of jumping into the cold water, but it still made here giggle a little anyway, “A wimp, no, I’m really used to this cold water.” She sloshed her feet around slowly, “the water back home was like this, but colder, and it waved, which, kind of, makes we want waves, because the make the water seem more alive.” In truth Lilly hadn’t, ‘planned’ on it, she just acted, and didn’t think about it, well not much, she had looked around to make sure she would only have to deal with the embarrassment from N’kar, although it really wasn’t an embarrassment, it was more of a ‘did I just do that’ shock and awe. At the speed her heart was going it was a surprise she didn’t explode, but having N’kar rest his head on hers made it calm down quite a bit, but her being bold, maybe. “its yo-your fault, i-I’ve never be-been like this around a-anyone, or fe-felt like this about any-one, so it m-must be your fault…” she was teasing somewhat and she hoped that her tone didn’t make it seem that it wasn’t so, she was also very confused, she didn’t realize how rapidly her mind went for complete and utter rambling thoughts to an almost peaceful tranquility. Lilly didn’t lift her until N’kar lifted it for her, which she didn’t resist at all, even if her mind had wanted her to stop she probably couldn’t have just because it was N’kar. And Lilly could even possibly hate him for it, especially because he hadn’t gone crazy when she did it to him, she took a moment but started to kiss him back, really cling onto him tightly, it was really a moment she didn’t want to let go of, but, eventually all good things come to an end. She stood there looking up at him smiling, with a very red blush to her, “I, uh, h-have to admit something…” she looked away for a second but turned back to N’kar quickly, “I knew you wanted to do that ……….” She sort of giggled and grinned at him, it was really off for Lilly, but maybe it was more herself then anyone had ever seen. Sirth tried to get under Rhiunths wing again, if her Lilly was in a happy spot she should be too. She hummed happily as she thought of how Lilly was feeling, the emotional happiness was more than she ever felt from Lilly, especially with an interaction with another person. ’I’m not surprised yours is surprised, I’m surprised that My-lilly-mine did that, that’s why I jumped away I had never felt her feel like that before and at first it confused me. Im very glad yours is happy though, that however I’m not surprised at .I’m actually very impressed with her, she isn’t worried at all, in fact I don’t really sense all that much nervousness from her now as well, it’s almost like, quiet, except for in over flow of … uhh… well … love … I guess … is the best way to describe it, it’s like, that feeling I get with you, being under your wing, she’s feeling that right now, but, so powerfully that it’s pretty overwhelming almost. Also, I’ve never seen her so, calm, despite how she’s actually talking she’s actually very calm, its finally nice to see her be herself around someone’. Sirth had never actually seen Lilly act the way Lilly wanted to act around other people, it was an unbelievably great feeling for Sirth, one she was sure she would get to see over and over again for quite some time. |

Rhiunth laughed, probably would have snorted in laughter if it had been more than just mentally. He was probably just as cute as any other brown hatchling. Maybe even less so with those oversized wings of his. 'Sure, if little floppy disproportional brown dragonets are cute.' He teased as he said it, of course. In his own opinion he wasn't much more to look at as a hatchling than any other. But then, he was Rhiunth, and he had his N'kar, and now Sirth, and that was enough for him. Sirth had a really good point. Rhiunth didn't think N'kar would be too keen on the idea of standing around trying to sell clothing to people. 'Mmm, that's true. Plus, I'm not sure how well N'kar Mine could sew a name onto a piece of cloth. It might come out reading something closer to Rnlmh than Rhiunth.' Even though he'd never seen N'kar try something like that, the dragon didn't think he would trust his rider's ability. Lilly's laugh brought a smile to N'kar's face and he stared off itnto the distance a moment or so, thinking back to how hard it had been for him to keep track of what was going on with little hatchling Rhiunth rattling on and on in his mind. Eventually he had learned how to deal with Rhiunth and still manage to pay attention to what was going on. At least Lilly didn't think he was a wimp or flinching a little at the cold water, though she was laughing so he wasn't quite sure whether or not he was safe just yet. "The biggest waves I ever saw growing up came from dragons splashing and diving honestly." N'kar shrugged as he admitted it. "It was usually older up there too, but we didn't get waves. Mountain lake you know, it wasn't all that active." Alive... N'kar hadn't ever really thought of water as alive. "It did make for a pretty scene though, with the relections and all. Especially when you saw it at sunset." N'kar had spent quite a few evenings sitting out by the lake. He found that much more entertaining than messing with the other candidates around the weyr. Actually, now that he thought about it, he might even have an old sketch of the lake from back when he used to do that kind of thing. He had salvaged some of those old things when he had transfered out here to Galvalin. There was still a slight sense of something unreal about this whole situation that made N'kar almost question whether or not he was even awake. And yet he knew it had happened, and he was glad it had. He laughed softly at Lilly's accusatory statement. His fault was it? "Oh, it's my fault? I'm sorry..." He sounded playfully hurt, or at least he tried to. Maybe he wasn't doing such a great job at joking right now. He wasn't sure. He was more than glad that Lilly hadn't protested to his own kiss though. That was a good thing. She even clung onto him and kissed him back. That was more than he would have dared hope for. Much better than her leaving him standing there awkwardly alone in the water. And as they broke apart once more, N'kar's face had a pretty healthy red hue to it as well. The words she spoke then almost scared him out of his mind though, and his mind started racing through just about anything she could admit to. Not much of it looked too good. He grinned though, when she said she'd known he'd wanted to do that. Funny, because he hadn't been thinking it. It was still amazing though. "I guess I have to thank you for it then, because I probably wouldn't have if you hadn't first." Rhiunth gladly offered up his side beneath his wing again as Sirth tried to go back to where she had been before their riders had gone and done something so drastically unexpected that they had been nearly knocked down. 'I think we're all a little surprised here.' He laughed as he spoke. 'I wouldn't be surprised to find out Lilly Yours was just as surprised at her own actions as we were. I give her a lot of credit. From what you say, she's better off than Mine. Poor N'kar is terrified that anything he does will mess everything up. I'm glad for them both though. I don't think Mine has ever been so happy with someone else in his life. And love...' That was a word Rhiunth had never used when describing his rider's feelings before. He chuckled thinking about it. 'I do believe you're right. He's never felt like that before. I'm glad he has now though.' This was a proud day for Rhiunth. |

Sirth laughed rather helplessly, ‘oh my, Rhiunth I think you are the cutest and most handsome dragon from your clutch now logically speaking she couldn’t know that for sure, but let’s face it, she really thought it. Also something on her side, Sirth was a bit of a woman, and she thought little things tend to be cute, and especially if they ARE actually cute. Rn/mh, well, maybe they should get someone else to do it then, ‘yeah, I don’t trust Lilly-mine with a sharp pointy thing, it’s a shame we couldn’t sell their shyness, we would be the richest people on all of Pern…’ yeah what would people use shyness for though, really!? “hmm, the waves I saw weren’t really that large, the ocean was quiet deep near where I lived so the water never had a chance to surge up, now if you went to the other side of the island, they had big waves because the land there was flat for, quiet a distance out there before it got deep if the tide was out.” Lilly remember only going to the other side of the island a few times, but they always knew not to dive into the ocean there else they might hit the bottom, on her side of island, it was mostly cliffs, and below the cliffs was more deep water. “Depending on the size of a dragon, they can make some big waves.” Water was colder in two places. Either the further away from the equator you got, or in the mountains, (duh). Lilly stood for a moment trying to imagine the sun going down over a lake of water in the mountains, it looked pretty in her mind, but was probably a lot better in real life as well, she would look forward to going there, “sounds nice, at least how I imagine it.” The advantage Lilly had was she knew she wasn’t sleepy because if she were she would either not be dreaming, or she would be having a nightmare, fortunately, she was defiantly not having a nightmare. So despite how incredible the moment might become, she knew it were real. She nodded, “yes, all your fault,” she patted him on the chest, but not hard, and very playfully, “yes, for, it is your fault that …” she pause a second to really make sure she wanted to say what she wanted to say, which she really did want to say, but she had to admit it, and then get her brain to make a sentence that made sense, “and … try and … bare with me … this is rather, long, and …” she nodded and took a breath as she got ready to admit quiet abit about herself, hopefully it wouldn’t scare N’kar off. “it’s, your … fault, that … in the day, I’ve known you, I’ve gone, from a mess, and a timid little girl, to, when I’m around you, I feel safe, and, the other side of me, that no one sees, can come out, and I can truly be myself. And yet, I … just … can’t figure … it out, I sit, or stand, or kneel, or whatever, trying to figure out how, and why, in fact, I spent, most of last night, thinking about… you.” The moment she finished that last word, he faced reddened a little, but not as much as N’kar might have thought, “I thought about, how, and, if you think, I’m crazy, tell me, but, you can’t go away, I know I said I never felt the way I do when I’m around you, or Rhi, and it’s true, I haven’t, but there was another situation, and person, who I was close with, but not like, how I feel about you, she was just my friend, but she cared and tried to get me to come out of the shell, I live in, but, that’s not important, she, and I, fell out, we got into an argument, about something, so stupid, it isn’t even worth… mentioning, so, I know kind of what this feels like, to have someone like you, but your more, so to lose you, would be worse! So that’s why I say you can’t leave…”this was a lot to throw at someone you just met, but Lilly felt she had to get it out now, for she knew as time went on, and there bong grew stronger, that it would only hurt more. The girl looked up at the brown rider with a pleading look, she was deadly serious with what she had said, despite how convoluted it was, but one thing was sure, she knew, already, how much she could not lose him, she couldn’t stand the heart ache again, and didn’t want to even think about starting things over once more. Lilly smiled, “you don’t … have to thank me… Nekrian,” she still clung to him, she had been wrong but she didn’t know that, and if N’kar didn’t say anything, she would assume she were right then. She slowly went from gripping his shirt clinging to him and placed her arms around him, laying her head against him for a moment, she thought about his name again, thinking she really liked that name, ‘Nekarian’, she looked up to him again, reaching up and kissing him quickly once more, “come on, let’s not stand here all day, the water will freeze our feet off else,” she smiled brightly, more so then she had since she could remember. She took a step or two backwards and grabbed onto his arms lightly, walking backwards slowly till she were at the end of her reach holding his hand, waiting to see, when he would follow her, she knew he would go, it was probably going to take a second for him to catch up though. Sirth got comfortable again, humming happily, oh how she loved being here. A little surprise was a bit of an understatement, Sirth didn’t even see it coming, and she generally kept a very good connection on the girl and her feelings so she could interject at any moment, this was far beyond anything Sirth had seen or felt before. ‘hmm surprise is a bit off, it’s like, a slap from a large fish, while you’re trying to catch it! And to tell you the truth, she wasn’t thinking about it, or had any feeling on it, that was gut instinct the prime, that’s why I was so surprised.’ Sirth nodded as well, credit was due to her Lily, and she would never have figured she was capable even if she were pushing her onto it, ‘aww poor dear, tell him he’s fine, he won’t do anything silly, to make it go all awry, Lilly-mine, wouldn’t want him to leave now. And let’s face it, they won’t admit it, but that’s what their feeling, and getting them to even say the darned word, will be like, well, give me a second ill think of a comparison, but it’s just that difficult Sirth chuckled to her Rhiunth, she was also proud of her Lilly, now she knew she could rise without throwing her rider into the most awkward of situations, it would only be, partly awkward, but if she could wait a while longer, it would probably strengthen there relationship. |

There was a lot to be said about the ability of Rhiunth to change expressions rather quickly, something he used at that moment as he adopted something of a modest, embarrassed look. 'Dear Sirth, you're far too nice to me. I hardly doubt I was the cutest or most handsome anything.' Such a modest dragon, that brown. His teasing was evident though as he chuckled, then proceeded to nuzzle his favorite dragon on all of Pern for what was probably the millionth time already. 'But I'm still glad you think so.' Getting someone else to do it was probably the best idea of all considering who Theirs were. 'That is a shame. Between the two of them, there's probably enough to sell to everyone on Pern, and I can't pretend it wouldn't be nice to see them without so much shyness.' Rhiunth glanced over at his rider. A non-shy N'kar? That would be quite a sight to see. N'kar didn't really know all that much about waves to begin with. As he had said before, the only waves he really knew were dragon-splashes in a mountain lake, and those could hardly compare to real, full-on ocean waves, could they? It was for that reason that the rider found Lilly's explanation of waves so interesting. "So which do you prefer then? Big waves and shallow water, or smaller waves and deeper water?" N'kar would guess at the second for multiple reasons, from that's what her side of the island was like to it being easier to swim in that kind of water. He smiled distantly remembering Rhiunth's love of splashing about. "That they can. Thankfully I never got caught by anything much bigger than Rhiunth out there though, so I didn't see those waves as big as they could have been." He waited a moment, thinking about it all still before he said anything in response. "It can be beautiful on a good day. I'll show you someday." N'kar was more than happy to wait as long as Lilly needed to get her thoughts out. He was a patient enough man, understanding to a point what it could be like to try and admit these things. He wasn't always much better off after all, was he? So it wasn't hard for him to wait as she struggled through her confession, for confession it seemed to be. And in truth, what she said probably was a lot to hear coming from someone you had known for so little an amount of time, and for someone like N'kar it was probably a lot to handle. If it had been anyone else saying that to him, he probably wouldn't have been able to stand there without running off. The fact of it all was though that this wasn't coming from someone else. Lilly was saying these things, and while it was strange to him to hear someone saying that they didn't want to lose him, he couldn't much say he didn't kind of feel the same. Not exactly of course, but in the little amount of time that he had known Lilly, he had come to realize that she meant a lot to him, more than anyone he could remember. He hadn't grown up particularly close to anyone and he lacked the families ties of most, so to find someone like Lilly, someone he got along with, that he seemed to just... click with... Well, already he could imagine that to lose her would be horrible, and that was just now! Imagine how they could be later on if things kept going as well for them now as they had been. The rider sighed deeply as he smiled down at Lilly. "I won't leave, not by any control of mine at least. Lilly, I haven't felt so connected to another person in as long as I can remember, and... and I don't think I could stand it if you left me..." Surprising the man was able to get himself to admit it. N'kar was really surprising himself these past few days. "Maybe I don't have to, but I want to." Wrong or not, N'kar couldn't say he hadn't enjoyed it. That was probably the best surprise he'd ever gotten, aside from maybe the surprise of Rhiunth's voice in his mind after his shell had broken, but that was for different reasons obviously. Moving... Now that sounded like a good idea! Until Lilly had mentioned it, N'kar hadn't realized that his feet were starting to get cold. Actually, he hadn't been paying attention to the water at all. He probably would have stood there until his feet froze off if she hadn't said anything. Now that he thought about it though, she was right. Laughing, he started off after her, trying not to let her get too far ahead. "Alright then, how's about a swim then?" He suggested as he reached her once again and then moved a few steps ahead toward deeper water. That would definitely keep them moving. Unless they wanted to drown that is. Even the way Sirth put it could be considered mild by the way Rhiunth knew His. 'That would have to be one big fish. I don't think I should say anything to Mine though. Not yet at least. I think he could do to figure this out on his own, as much as he'd hate me for saying that.' Always looking out for his rider, that Rhiunth. But he was serious. N'kar was doing fine on his own, and Rhiunth didn't think it would hurt him to try this on his own. 'I would agree with you there, but I'm not so sure after the last few days. It seems the both of them have been doing things we don't expect them to. I'm not so sure I would be surprised if they admitted it sooner than we think.' |
