(I know typically we do mirror posting, but please don't feel that you have to do a post the size of my into to the thread.)

A gentle melody was floating across the bottom of the Weyr bowl today, a lone man and woman, two dragons, one green one blue, the dragons led next to each other and looked as if they were sleeping, the man led on the back of his dragon wastefully playing the day away on his Flute while the girl led against his blue eyes closed, but apparently still awake as her hand swayed in the air in time with the man’s playing. If you were to describe the both of them they both looked remarkably similar, both fairly short compared respectively to their peers. Both of them have very silky brown hair, and both have green eyes, one would on presume they were related, hmm oh how they’d be right.

Both had agreed (both being all four of them) to meet up after duties for dinner and then to relax together, Kiera had always enjoyed listening to her brother play, the flute was such a soothing instrument, and she would often request certain songs from him. Al’isar was most of the time happy to comply with her requests. Al could sing as well, but, he very rarely did for anyone but extremely special people, and even then it wasn’t often, it wasn’t that he was bad, he just like to keep it for a few people, he felt it was more precious that way.

It wasn’t terribly warm, but that never bothered either of them, their real home, and then Weyr before here was bitterly cold, so a cold day here would be rather pleasant for them, and they had been out in the middle of the bowl by the lake for quiet sometime now undisturbed. Finally at one point Al stopped playing and the Bowl went silent, asides from the fluttering of random dragons flying by and maybe the odd voice. Kiera open her eyes and looked up for her spot on the ground, “you run out of breath?” Al chuckled at Kieras comment, “No, I was just thinking about home, I still don’t understand why you, both of you,” as he said that he patted down on his blue dragon, “won’t tell me where we lived when I was growing up…” his dragon stirring slightly before moving back into a relaxed position.
“I told you, you’re home is with me right, so why do you need to know?” Al didn’t reply right away, but eventually after musing over a few things he dis-heartedly replied “yeah, I suppose you’re right, it’s all past and I doubt anything good would come of it, just, promise me one day you’ll take Me.” Without even a moment to think Kiera had already spoken “Alright.” And that was that. “play that song you wrote for Faith…” Al chuckled again and shook his head, and proceeded to play for her and her dragon.

"You, my friend, are just horrible. Just horrible I tell you," the voice was amused, there was no doubt about that. A feminine figure that strode along the weyrbowl. It was clearly her who had spoken, this almost motherly figure who had a gentle yet teasing smile across her features as she did so. A hand gently placed on another's arm, fingers barely touching the surface of a jacket made of wherry hide. A rider's jacket really, just as her own was slung over her other arm. The other rider merely chuckled, a deep low sound that carried well into the ears. Soothing almost as they lifted a hand over their chest where their heart was.
"Oh, how you wound me my sweet beloved. Tell me, how am I suppose to live with such abuse from your tender lips?" they drawled out in that mock injured voice. She, however, merely just laughed, the sound that died off as they both noticed something else. Or at least, the shorter and more masculine of the pair noticed it. A hand was held up, head turned ever so slightly. A soft hum from her throat as she too noticed the tune and shook her head slightly.

"Looks like you're not the only musical one around here dearest," she drawled out in a teasing tone as the other rider merely grinned, holding out her arm with an arched eyebrow.
"Does this mean that my playing no longer charms you my lady?" they spoke in an equally teasing tone. She merely rolled her eyes then, hooking her own arm through theirs, "Like I said my friend. You, my dear, are just horrible. Just horrible. Is it not bad enough that you were preying on the young women in the kitchens just now? Please, spare my vulnerable heart." A soft laugh then, "It's not as if you've ever played for me either. I've only ever heard of that through somebody's else's words."

The other rider chuckled then, deep within their chest, "Ah, but I don't play for just anybody after all. Besides..." A pause here, a smirk like grin across their features, "You can hardly call what I was doing preying on the young women, last I checked, you were the one who offered to warm her furs for her. So don't go painting the yours or mine dragon green."
