That' true for a lot of Gundam fans dating back to when I was a member of Gundam.com. Gundam fans are notoriously passionate about the franchise and arguing about the different series. Just look at how Fukuda and Morosawa are treated just because they created Gundam Seed Desiny. Edited by Charred Knight, Nov 30 2011, 03:43 AM.

Can't say I'm impressed with the Zedas R. The new UE (Dorado?)...I don't know what to think of it. It is fine as a design, but at the moment it looks like it sheds a lot of the 'monstrous' character of the UE designs for something considerably more conventional. Hopefully it proves me wrong. |

"Conventional" is definitely the first term that came to mind. Well, at least skirmishes will be colorful enough. |

I'm guessing the R, in Zedas R, just stand for "Repair"(?). Looks like it's just gonna be a recolor with the tan parts replaced with red. The other two looks pretty good. |

I think I should appropriate the name as "Drad". It has pretty good proportions maybe due to the removal of the transformation system. The Zedas R looks pretty boring, and the Atel is just a GN-X III. |

I think a combination would be kind of odd, given that the Diva and Gundam appear to have been designed and produced by separate groups who have not been shown to have been in communication with one another. Even the AGE System would be hard-pressed to cough up a plot device to make it happen, I'd think. |

I'm just gonna stick with Trans-Am for now, except its now going to be blue. Either that reveal the fact that its an ELS disguised as a ship all this time. *sigh* or go with the logical thing balofo mentioned with a Mega Particle Cannon.......:( Edited by SonicSP, Dec 8 2011, 07:12 PM.

I see the pattern now: the more cryptic a character's name, the more forgettable they're supposed to be. From the way things are progressing, the climax should be around episode 13-14. Seems like we've barely scratched the surface of AG and the current generation's about to hand-off the baton to the next one. There better be some interesting twists or turn of events in the upcoming episodes. |

Very satisfying to see our previously young protagonist aging well. Makes me wonder if the second arc will be grittier and filled with real conflicts. How much will the final showdown in Flit's arc influence the outcome of his ultimate fate? What sort of relationship will Asem have with his father? There's lot of material for the writers to work with, I hope they don't fudge it. |

That promo image looks quite promising, I hope the art quality improves in the next season. It'd be weird if Flit follows the same path as Bruzer and kills himself to save a colony or whatever(hence the 'stache). ^_^; And regarding the Woolf look-alike, DK was a pretty big fan of Woolf...so that kinda sparks the possibilities that's DK trying to be like Woolf. If so then - daaayuum! that's some improvement. Edited by Juno, Dec 9 2011, 06:39 PM.

Gotta chime in here and agree that Flit looks surprisingly awesome in Generation 2. Whoa!
Dique would look quite a bit older though, wouldn't he? Not that this Woolf look-alike being Dique wouldn't be amusing, but I can't help but wonder if we're looking at the son of Woolf/Millais or (as Homeless brought to my attention) Mukured/Lalaparly. I wouldn't mind any of these outcomes coming true, honestly. I will admit however, that I'd be a bit happier if the character was the offspring of the Madorna folks. There'd be lots of potential for a fun little rivalry between him and Asemu since both their parents would be MS designers. |

It'd kind of annoy me if they slapped the AGE-2 together that quickly, given it took seven years for the AGE-1, but couldn't be bothered to make a weapon for Largan that can actually damage anything. |

Since there's no other thread for it, LMAOL at the 2nd popularity contest winners http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/6866/1323707120432.png Though in the case of Millais, chances are she'd have been the winner either way since she and Yurin are really the only popular females in the show, followed by Madorna's wife. Woolf though probably would have been the 1st in the 1st poll had it gone legitly. |

Killing Yurin off would be unfortunate. She's by far the most popular character, largely by accident. Emily got the short end of the stick in the first arc. She had the most potential to be the most supportive and interesting sidekick to Flit. |

Overall, I have to say that so far everything about the mechs with the exception of the UE, has been disappointing. Genoace never did squat. Genoace Custom had like one real fight, and then never used again. Titus basically had that one episode, and then it was pretty much useless by the next one. G-Excessive had it's awesome debut, but then suddenly side lined and turned to babysitter for the fairdain people, and with given how much time is left who knows if it'll even do anything. And I doubt it'll be around when the 20+ year time skip happens. (I doubt Flit will knock up his waifu that soon after his arc ends) Spallow was showy, but at the same time it again felt like just another toy commercial. If anything it'll probably get reverted back to Normal age for whatever the final battle in this arc is going to be. |

Maybe Genoace's powerplant just can't produce enough beam output to damage anything no matter what it uses? I'm pretty sure if the Genoace could have used the DODS effectively, the Diva would have created one or two more for the Genoace and Genoace Custom. Kinda one of the things that frustrates me about the lack of technical info on the energy distribution of the mechs' weapon systems. Sometimes hard to tell a logical decision within a story from say bad writing. Not that the AGE-2 appearing immediately is less annoying, I fully expect it to be the result of a long term development, but I guess you never know. Edited by SonicSP, Dec 17 2011, 12:50 PM.
