"Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Treasure Star" is a manga sidestory, currently being published in Corocoro Comic. It follows the story of a boy named Daiki Ryuuzaki and his friends, as they search for a grand treasure hidden in space. Detailed character info by Zeonic Scanlations. As of this post I have not even seen full scans of the first chapter, much less any translation projects. The following are several images that have turned up around the web: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 |

Loving that uppercut image in the fifth link. I must admit, I'm still sorta surprised that the comic doesn't use its own unique Gundam. I wonder if the alternate forms will be different. |

http://randal.blog91.fc2.com/blog-entry-1644.html Some (untranslated) details on Treasure Star. Apparently Daiki's AGE-1 has a "T" on its chest rather than an "A". Deacon's take: http://www.zeonic-republic.net/?p=1371 |

So what's the exact date/year when TS happens in relation to AGE? The fact that the age crew seem to be more easy going, and more so there's not really a military aspect to it compared to normal gundam has it currently garnering my interest over the anime. |

I can't give a concrete answer as I have not seen the chapters for myself, but it appears roughly concurrent with the anime's current point. Flit doesn't look any older than he does in the anime, although he's wearing his pilot suit during his guest appearance. |

I see. I just hope the TS people at least make some sort of Cameo eventually. Flit running into another Gundam out of nowhere seems like something too important to leave out. But then again, Lowe never exactly appeared in SEED. Or the 00 manga characters. At this point I'm just assuming Daiki's father worked together with Flits mother/family on the whole project, making his own Gundam later on. |

Ironic; here's the first chapter: http://club.shogakukan.co.jp/magazine/SH_CSNDY/kidousensi_002/detail/ One must wonder how the Gundam was ready some six years ago, and had a Dots Rifle... |

I guess it could be a Trial/Test model, with the T standing for that. But that's just grasping at straws. >.>; EDIT: never mind, figured it out. And holy hell, TS Captain is freaking awesome. EDIT2: Also interesting that it has a properly working Beam Saber and not just the crappy daggers. Edited by Kyosuke Nanbu, Oct 20 2011, 10:21 PM.

AGE-1 comes with variable Beam Saber/Daggers, it can change their length. You even see Flit using them as sabers in the OP. |

As time goes on, I doubt this will be taken very seriously. Certain aspects of it are so egregious to the core storyline the anime presents, that it's easy to imagine it being pushed to the side once it ends. |

Well at some aspects least 00F was important to Celestial Being's existent in the anime later, so there may be a chance that it contributes something to the storyline later on. Of course it's just my wishful thinking more than anything else. |

Well, probably NOT Fon, but there was some plot points that I enjoyed and I think contributed to 00 well in general. I do emphasize on the word "some" though. Heavily emphasize. The 00I that followed it..........*shivers* And I shall stop there. I think I'll give TS a read later and see how it goes. Edited by SonicSP, Oct 21 2011, 10:02 PM.

I really hope this gets shunted away. I know we only have scraps of info but this doesn't sound like it's even trying to fit in with the show, more hoping to ride on its popularity. I'm not the biggest fan of the SEED/00 sidestories, but at least they tried to some degree. |

What popularity? So far AGE is more or less disliked to "Meh" as far as it's ratings and Blue ray sales go. BD sales are actually pretty bad. It's still to early to say where Treasure Star is going to go with this. Though I guess it could just be Gundam One Piece. |

Idly, the Japanese wiki now lists a pair of custom Zila and Xeno appearing. The former belongs to a new character named Barrel, while the latter is used by Lhuga. |

Japanese Wiki finally updated their Treasure Star section. It refers to Lhuga's new unit as "Lhuga-Exes (G-Exes Kai)". From the description it looks like the Madorna Workshop is entirely unrelated to its creation, so I can only guess this is more of TS not making even the vaguest effort to fit into the anime. There's also a few more custom Zilas running around. Apparently one fights with MS-sized gymnastics equipment. |

I'm wondering how the Gundam was even created actually. It was finished before Flit's Gundam and wasn't even created by him. At this point, I'm truely in the Treasure Star not canon part. It puts even 00I to shame from the looks of it. I would love some special explanation to tie it all in, but really I'm not holding my breath. |

I think giving powers is fine, depending on how absurd the powers are. Summoning the Memento Mori to do a laser attack from the sky does crosses that line however, potential to shut down Original GN Drives even more so. And a human radar? What ever happened to good old IFF Systems or......actual radars? Might be useful in 00's world where GN Particles can disable radars (even the one the GN machines use if concentrations are high, IE Arche Drei or in somescreens+particle combos), not so sure about AGE world. But then again, I probably shouldn't say much about it because Setsuna and a lot of other people basically has the same thing. Edited by SonicSP, Feb 14 2012, 11:13 PM.

^lol that line made me chuckle. Okay, what exactly is happening anyways? I mean I know Daiki's is with Flit here, but I want to know the context on why Flit's even there. I would gladly be happy to find an excuse of one scene that will directly contradict the anime just so I can label TS non-canon, but they've been smart by not giving me that direct scene from what I've seen. I don't think Treasure should be considered canon, it should just be treated as a gag manga like V Gundam Gaiden as well as the Ideon x Gundam one. Unless, they find some explanation as to why another Gundam AGE-1 was built and found as a treasure by Daiki's dad. |

^Agreed. The AGE Builder "randomly floating in" to their hands is just too much. Speaking of which, as far as TS is concerned, is that the same AGE Builder that Flit and co uses?
