Warning, huge image. For something more constructive; as discussed elsewhere, the PS3 Unicorn game will be debuting an original scenario revolving around the Sinanju's "theft". Among the new designs debuting is the Sinanju Stein, which appears to be the original, unaltered Sinanju. |

The world needs only one Small Boss!

I've always wondered whether it was actually a theft, or just the fat guy from AE Saying it was to cover up them just back dealing again. |

This is Anaheim; when in doubt, assume underhanded shenanigans. |

AE must have upgraded it into the red spikeless version prior to when it was taken by the Sleeves. Or alternatively, the AE fat guy might have had the red spikeless version blueprints already and gave it to the Sleeves for themselves to upgrade with parts in the transport. Another scenario would be that the Stein is the spare machine along with the red spikeless Sinanju in the same transport that was raided. |

Alternately the upgrades were all the Sleeves' doing and the revised blueprints were sent back to Anaheim along with the other data used to make Unicorn, effectively making Neo-Zeon test pilot Sinanju for them as part of the deal. It's probably the least likely scenario, but entirely plausible given AE's reputation, and would certainly give Anaheim some live-fire data to work with. |

Mecha Talk capped the Sinanju's original schematics in OVA2, for comparison with the Stein: http://i.imgur.com/aJ9sv.jpg |

what the hell do you mean by "Spikeless?" Also, the stein does look a lot less zeonic, and not just because of the red; the completely different binders and more organic-looking outer armor help too. |

The man who controls space and time.

It seems like they were opting for more thruster output on the back, thus the particle tanks were extended. Besides, its not like its surprising to see the exterior change to fit more of the "zeonic"-taste. I agree with Ideon, Zeon basically modified it to there liking and the combat data from the modified Sinanju led to the Unicorn Gundam. Although the rifle is a curious point..... |

Just quoting from MechaTalk:
"Bullshit" is all I can really think about that sloppy attempt at a retcon at the end there. More positively, the boxart for the new MG release: http://i.imgur.com/RLoH1wU.jpg |

Super Bullshit. Also: Is the IAS not exactly what the psycoframe was already supposed to do? And I suppose it would make too much sense for the sleeves to have remade the bazooka and rifle from onboard schematics or something, or modded the Stein's. And of course it makes all of the sense for it to have already had a shield with a big fuckoff zeon logo on it. if Anaheim wanted to give it to the sleeves that badly, why not just redo the armor themselves? |

I find it more likely that the zeon logo was the work of the Sleeves after they obtain it. |
