That faceplate looks a little wide for my taste. I was hoping this would be remedied by the Gunpla, but I guess that's how it's supposed to look. |

sigh...it is indeed. It's supposed to be MBF-02. Just like how the Astrays were MBF-P01 and sequentially numbered. Incredibly flat, washed-out colors and a typo'd model number. I can't say I mind Bandai pumping out an RG Rouge after my paintjob if this what we get. |

Personally I'm kind of hoping we get a HGUC Nemo announced soon. I've always generally liked it, but I think the new Unicorn OVA colorscheme does the unit a much better service than the green/blue one from Zeta. |

I'd like to get one, but I think there was a B-Club Nemo announced a while back which is a death knell for potential HGUCs. Same goes for the Dowadge. It's a real shame because I'd love to have one, and the visor-face grunt UC lineup is getting more and more complete. Just won't be the same without the Nemo between the GM II and GM III. |

Unable? MOST more recent HGUCs are a testament that they are. Unless they mean toylike gimmicks like opening hatches and perfect transformations at the expense of stability (looking at you, V Gundam), then maybe so. And saying there will be more Unicorn MGs is akin to saying "and gunpla will still be made of plastic". Delta Gundam is honestly kind of neat, though. Too bad it won't happen for a while. |

Yes, they are also far more expensive and riskier to make and its not like they're going to release every single tiny-miniscule suits of all series on MGs. Hell, they don't even do that for HGs (*insert ramblings on HG GN-XIV*). Edited by SonicSP, Oct 23 2011, 01:49 AM.

The interview said for a character to qualify for a release originally from the HGUC line to the MG line is not merely for upscaling to the 1/100 size, but it must display some improved traits(exclusively gimmicks?) that were previously deficient in its HGUC release, such as from parts swapping transformation to perfect transformation as exemplified by the MG ReZEL and Delta Plus. It did not explicitly talk about improving articulation for it to qualify for an MG release, which is a pity. I think if MG Jesta were to be released, the distinguishing gimmick might just be the visor. To be honest, during the inception of the HGUC line, I have always thought that characters being released in the line will never get a corresponding MG release in the future, as the HGUC line is overly populated with OVA/non- anime variants and irregularly shaped transformable mobile suits. A HGUC to MG movement post 2003 (when hy-gogg introduced abs joints) is extremely rare while the reverse is common. The only HGUC to MG ones are exceptions such as the Gyan and some other First Gundam Mobile Suit. I'll say MG Jesta is still highly probable, I am not sure about an MG Zaku I Sniper, but it does facilitate for a Zaku I Ver.2 release. If you look at the MG line, apart from protagonist mobile suits from anime productions, we only get the base form of the grunts. There are also hardly any characters that are purely from a non-anime production. This would exclude variants that are based on anime appeared characters, e.g 00 7S, Full Armor Gundam. The only MGs that are purely non-anime are the Gundam Sentinel ones, 2 from VS Astray, 2 from Gundam Unicorn Novel, 2 from Gunbdam Musou, Crossbone Gundam, and G04 and 05. Not sure whether to include Perfect Gundam Of course in contrast, HGUC has a whole lot more. Edited by Calubin_175, Oct 24 2011, 03:18 AM.

I'm only interested in the model manuals! the Gundam Age ones so far are disappointing. Expect a HGUC Byalant since it has a lot of screen time in OVA 4, like the Dreissen in OVA 3. Also where is the Dreissen ZZ ver.? |

It's worth mentioning that the AGs aren't FGs. Indeed, the HG FGs, SEED NGs and 00 FGs are all slightly different as is. The AG kits look more solid once completed (though AGE-1 is as ugly as sin) but lack some of the articulation of the SEED kits. Which isn't too bad, since that often resulted in bow limbs due to a single ball joint. There's also a Gage-ing chip cartridge shoved in the back, which doesn't help AGE-1 any. An RG Strike Rouge....*paws* |

The sparrow looks really nice, especially since its mostly blue. On the other hand, the blue on the Titus just looks out of place IMO. But overall, they look pretty nicely detailed. I can't wait to get my hands on a G-Exes. The all white color will help make it easier for recoloring it! ![]() *EDIT* I just noticed that the Titus' shoulders opens up, I guess whenever it prepares to attack. I was expecting the MG Duel, which means we won't get an RG Duel anytime soon. I guess they were weighing the pros and cons of pursuing Gundam Seed Reboot on either MG or RG. The RG Skygrasper is excellent as an expansion pack, much better than the MG Core Booster (V). On the otherhand, the 94 Type Base Jabber and MG Gafran were quite a surprise, I was hoping for the Zedas, which should come later. No signs of Unicorn MGs, which means they might be waiting till episode 5 comes out. Now it seems worthy to buy the Full Armor Unicorn as it comes with an SFS along with its bountiful of spare gatling guns. Not sure whether the weapons can be mounted on the base jabber independently but overall, I think I will definitely get it. We don't often get >8000yen MA class-ish MG Mobile Suits. |

Judging from the short shoulders of the Duel, it seems to suggest they are following the Bee-craft lineart as per PG Strike manual, and it doesn't exhibit skinny proportions, so I don't think art director Shigeta Satoshi is involved. At least we'll have the Shigeta version on Robot Damashii. What I've always liked about the Assault Shroud is the fact that it takes the full armor concept akin to Full Armor Gundam, but it retains the slim proportions and substantial mobility. |

MG Duel Assault Shroud? That's pretty cool, Duel was one of my favorites (well, maybe due to the fact that I had the MSiA and it was pretty awesome). Too bad I probably won't be able to afford it (or any other kit) for quite a while... Either way, MG Blitz, Bandai. Make it happen. ...or a MG Stargazer would be nice.
