You know, as much as I love the Sigmasis Rifle's design, its appearence in the HG kit will worry me because of its weight. Even in that pic, its just being let down on the ground. It might be a bit hard to keep it in a single handed pose, and even if it can be for awhile, the joints usually weaker after awhile. I've had bad experiences with HG Arche before. |

And based on new shots, 'AUGE' indeed appears on the actual RG Mk II as well. Bandai, you were doing so well with this line. How did this slip through? It's a group you've been talking about since 1985. |

i like the Marasai and the HGUC ReZEL Defensor B Unit, which may as well be the first HGUC I'll buy. Just hoping the Marasai will have similar articulation as the Zaku, if it is at the same level as the Gouf, I won't buy it. |

So apparently we're getting all the AGE-3 wears in GB but the only way to get the AGE-3 core is to buy the Normal. Meaning completists will be stuck with 2 useless sets of Normal limbs. All of which drives me to my long term question of why Bandai didn't just always release the seperate forms of the Gundams as complete figures instead of as 3 seperate components. I assume the fall out from that has led to this so that retailers don't have a mess of unsold AGE-3 torsos. |

With AGE ratings being what it is, the lack of an announcement for any type of HG Clanche at this point worries me since I want one so badly given their awesome design. I hope my fears are wrong though. |

Homeless and I briefly discussed it yesterday but I really do wonder what's happening with HG AGE. They've skipped easy remolds like AGE-1 Flat and Khronos, we've got no word of a Clanche and the AGE-3 Orbital is coming out with no word of the Fortress which debuted before it. Compared to the early days where we seemed to get basically everything, I really do wonder if it'll limp to the finish line like Trailblazer and we'll be left with key designs missing. |

There's no reason for Bandai to release an AGE-1 Flat. The HG AGE-1 normal comes with a white piece that fits inside the "A" symbol on the chest. Although, I'm also wondering why they haven't released a HG Khronos yet despite there being an AG version of it. :/ And it is odd that the Orbital was announced for release first. But a recent hobby magazine confirmed that the HG Fortress is already in development so that's a relief. As for the Clanche, I hope they do release a HG of it eventually. |

The Flat as far as I'm concerned is an oddity. Yes, we have the piece to make it from the original, but it surprises me that Bandai haven't made a release that officially acknowledes the feature and bundles something in like that extra backpack. Given we've seen things like Ali's recoloured Enact and such, the lack of an identified official Flat seems odd. Especially since it's about to return yet again. Same logic as the Khronos. As far as I'm aware all they'd have to do is include the variant wings and a new gun and there you go. The fact that both of these easy remolds have been ignored troubles me given their usual tactics. With Clanche, my only hope is they want to save it for later on whilst Kio's arc is still on the air. But then given the grunts of the previous generations came so soon, it worries me again. |

Just noticed this...anyone else notice a pattern with the HG AGE kits? So far it's been 10 kits per story arc... Flit: 1. AGE-1 Normal 2. Gafran 3. Genoace 4. Genoace Custom 5. AGE-1 Titus 6. Zedas 7. AGE-1 Sparrow 8. Baqto 9. G-Exes 10. Farsia (released later but still fits in this catagory) Asemu: 1. AGE-2 Normal 2. Dorado 3. Zedas R 4. Adele 5. G-Bouncer 6. Zeydra 7. Genoace II 8. AGE-2 Double Bullet 9. Shaldoll Custom 10. Adele [Diva Colors] And so far for Kio's arc we know these: 1. AGE-3 Normal 2. Danazine 3. Ghiraga 4. G-Exes Jackedge 5. AGE-2 Dark Hound 6. AGE-3 Orbital 7. AGE-3 Fortress 8. AGE-FX or whatever it's called? So can we assume there will only be two more HG kits (possibly the Clanche and that Vagan Gundam) for AGE? Or has it just been coincidental so far, and they'll start releasing other HGs from previous arcs later? Stupid, maybe been mentioned before, but I just thought I'd toss this pattern out there. I still don't/can't believe it. I'm just waiting for it to either vanish unceremoniously a la the Aqua GM. Or maybe a meteor will destroy the prototypes and all the computers with its data. Or...something. If not for that, I would say I'm elated, even though I did buy a conversion for one not long ago. Otherwise, it seems to be the same kit that was released years ago. ...never thought of trying to fit my RG Freedom on that old kit of mine. Guess I need to go find it now, heh. Hmm, they they're going with the trend of renewing UC protagonist MS on the MG line, it seems like the RG is doing the same but on ones that had a release after 2004, such as Strike and Mk II Ver.2.0. I think next year will be dominated by rehashed frames for Frozen Tear Drops MGs. It is pretty much the trend nowadays as most MGs at the beginning and middle of the year will be concentrated with tons of rehashes. Last year we had Wing EW, this year we have SEED 4 Gundams plus Gundam AGE. This year's Shizuoka MG was no a big deal at all, which was as anti climatic as last December's FA Unicorn. I am just going to hope that the Nu Gundam won't be ABS-less, but then there is chance that it may be if it is only 7000 yen. |

Working on RG Justice just cements my issues with the backpack, given the joint for it is already floppy. I'm not sure why Fukuda felt it made sense for an MS carry around a device designed to carry IT. |

Strike Rouge with HG IWSP. Given Aile Strike Rouge was an exclusive, why not just produce a new IWSP and sell this at retail? I like the 'If they were real' and 'MG/PG tech in 1/144' elements of RG but this line quickly starting to look really lazy and uninspired. |

It's been AGES (pun intended) since I really did anything but let Gundam fly on by without me. It just became too much to follow with everything else going on. But within all the stuff that was going on that I couldn't keep up with, there was one thing I was always looking for: a HGUC GM Sniper II kit. Well, turns out Bandai went ahead and made it before the Apocalypse melts all our kits down. I ordered one... first Gunpla in a LONG time. It's the White Dingo version too, so I'm pretty psyched about this rare kit reaching my dust-covered workbench. Might it get me back into Gunpla? Maybe. Might it get me back into Gundam? Maybe... but never like I was before. In any case, it's just fun to see what's going on with it all. I've been following a lot of the updates on Gundam Guy's blog and watching the Unicorn movies. On that note, I'm kinda surprised/irked about the Shadoll Rouge release, myself. We didn't get any Hellion kits from 00... just doesn't seem fair. Edited by Bazookafied, Dec 5 2012, 11:11 PM.
