Sonic already posted this in the spoilers thread, but we have a number of users that avoid it so I figured a proper thread for the novelization series couldn't hurt. Also makes it easier to keep track of the information, since these seem to diverge more than 00's did.

I hope this isn't a case of its already posted somewhere but I didnt see it kinda thing.

solidvanz from animesuki posted this list there and he says he got it from 4chan. I'm cross posting it here. Its some difference and elaboration from the novel:

- Since the start of the year, there have been 13 UE attacks.
- At the beginning, Flit is up all night working on AGE's central control program.
- Flit's hatred toward the UE is heavily stressed.
- Emily helps with Flit's meals, laundry, etc. every day.
- Flit's scooter moves by means of a hydrogen engine. (Due to a later mention of the Desperado having a hydrogen engine, it seems like AGE's basic type of engine)
- Why the Genoace can't beat the Gafran is fleshed out.
- They explain Flit's UE prediction from the series. He also predicts that they're based somewhere between the Earth and the Moon, in... I guess a sort of 'garbage' sector? Not sure how to translate this, but Google gives me results for the Delaz Fleet from Stardust, if that helps.
- The scene with Flit and his teacher is cut. He only told Emily, on the way to school. (According to a later explanation, the teacher has a habit of ignoring Flit's opinion) He arranged to explain his predictions to the commanders. (There was no such thing in the anime version) However, he speculated the options of such a small base would be limited.
- Flit isn't insensitive toward Emily like in the series. He's kind and considerate.
- The scene where Flit meets Bruzar and Vargas is cut.
- Colony Nora's length is 25km, diameter is 6km. Standard size, it seems. (It's later mentioned that Fardin's diameter is twice as large)
- Flit is out of place in the class. Emily is popular. Flit isn't as good friends with Dique as in the series. (Early Amuro/Hayato level)
- At the time of the UE attack, Emily's is wearing a cute dress. (No illustration)
- When the UE attack, Flit brings Emily to the base because she knows Vargas's gate pass. She understands it will be dangerous, but it's an emergency.
- Largan is Nora base's ace and a good spirited macho guy. He doesn't pilot the Gundam because they still haven't done a test run, the armaments aren't finished, and neither is the central control program.
- The government office was destroyed in the raid, transferring power to Nora base's commander.
- Largan understands the Genoace won't be able to hurt the Gafran, but they have no other cards to play so he deploys as a last resort.
- The UE ambush as the shutter opens is cut. Largan's Genoace is damaged in combat.
- At first, Flit thought “I won't need to pilot the Gundam, other options are available”.
- Vargas didn't want to make Flit fight, but the base didn't have anyone left who could pilot the Gundam. He persuaded Flit to pilot it, and prepared to take all the responsibility for the decision by himself.
- There are many legends of the Gundam's efforts in past wars. It is emphasized as a legendary being in the current age.
- The central control program Flit made is inserted into AGE and started up. For the first time in hundreds of years, the Gundam stands.
- Explanation on why AGE deploys unarmed. AGE's armaments aren't finished, but there's no choice other than to sortie.
- While finding shelter, Dique's friends die before his eyes. Parody of Seabook when Arthur dies.
- Dique pisses himself out of fear. When he's driven into a corner, the Gundam barges in.
- The Genoace's beam spray gun's shots are about as powerful as a tank shell.
- Explanation of why the Federation couldn't beat the UE in the past 14 years. Power, stealth, armour, etc.
- Description of how how much greater AGE's output, power, etc. is than the Gafran.
- Flit didn't want to use the beam dagger because it hadn't been tested, but he gives in at the last second. (As opposed to the series where he asks if there are any weapons)
- During battle, Flit mentally analyzes the Gafran's armour strength and mass, attacking its weaker joints.
- When Flit sees the UE destroy the downed Gafran, he becomes confident that they're trying to maintain their secrets. (The scene where the UE scan the Gundam is cut)

===================

Unlike the Gundam 00 (at least as far as S1 goes since its the only one I've read), there sure are minor differences between the anime in the scenes potrayed. I really wish I can personally read this truth be told.

So, is the novel actually called "Stand Up"?

I'm not entirely sure if it is the title for the novelization altogether or just the subtitle of the first novel, but basically yes.

A subtitle would fit more I think, it does sound weird if it was the entire novel series. Gundam 00 novels each had their own subtitles as well, at least I know for certain the S1 English ones published by Bandai did.

Next novel, Awaken, is due out the 1st of April. Think it will finish Flit's chapter.

EDIT

Well, details are trickling out.

I'm hearing from summaries and the Japanese Wiki that the AGE-1 picked up another Wear for Ambat, called something like Gold Arrow. It sounds like it is more of a modified Normal, packing a hefty anti-beam coating system, than something 'new' like Spallow and Titus. The Wiki claims it is the AGE-1G, and that it is a counter to the Farsia's Bits.

Some info from 2chan

After Woolf switched to the G-Exes, the parts of his Genoace Custom were transferred to Largan's Genoace.
Choco bar captain partook in the battle of Ambat and probably arrested Grodek afterwards.
Geara Zoi felt the pressure of the golden flash of the AGE-1.
Emily witnessed Flit embracing Yurin and his confession for her.

I know the first novel has some slight differences already but having a whole new wear really kills the canocity/synchornization of the novel I guess, unlike 00S1 novels where the events that were in the novel that was also in the anime were 99% like for like.

It appears that the G-Exes must have all of its parts overhauled after each sortie.

Original Units
Genoace Type 791
Known as home capital version.
Head is fitted with vulcans. It is equipped with new model handheld beam gatling gun. Can also switch to sniper and cannon variants as per first novel.

Genoace Assault
Its chest armor has been strengthen to that of Gundam class. It is a custom machine used for countering Baqtos and is equipped with a G-Exes equivalent beam saber. As propellant is reduced, its travel and combat duration are also reduced.

Gold Arrow
Developed to counter the unmanned weapons of the Farscia. The hatches on its thighs etc releases a beam coating substance. I can't seem to translate the plasma integration part.

You know, that might be the first suggestion we have of limited propellant system is how things work in AGE. They hardly mention that sort of stuff and they never run out of anything onscreen before (except for AGE-1 finishing ammo early on)

Third novelization is out.

-Amusingly, I hear Zeheart reminds Desil he missed a chance to capture the AGE System at Fardain.

-Largan is around. Academy flight instructor?

-I think the Adele's development took so long because they spent a lot of time unsuccessfully trying to decipher the AGE System?

-Apparently the G-Bouncer, or at least the base unit, is used by several EFF aces.

The Adele took 25 years long to develop due to deciphering the black box of the AGE system.

The Dorado is regarded to possess both high firepower and mobility, hence usually distinguished from the Baqto which only possesses the former trait.

The G-Bouncer is apparently a modified version of a MS model that lost the competition to the Adele. The said rejected MS model is still used by aces and instructors. Maybe the G-Xiphos is one of them?

Largan was Arlisa and Max's instructor. He said Asem's spatial awareness and fire control is better than Flit, however...

The AGE-1 Flat is installed with a computer system which enables Flit to command his troops in real time.

Hmmm... I wonder if this competing design, aka the G-Bouncer, to the Adele is developed by the Madorna Workshop while the Adele is developed by the Federation itself with the support of Flit.

The Adele thing confuses me. It's essentially a mass produced AGE-1 Normal which we clearly see Flit building in flashback. So why did they need to faff about with a black box? I could understand using the System to refine the AGE-1 for mass production (though recent in show dialogue kind of suggests the Federation didn't support that so much) but to me this seems to be a simple case of Flit refining something he already produced. What's the puzzle piece I'm missing?

I figured it had more to do with working out and possibly even MPing the AGE System (the HG 1/144 Adele booklet even goes out of its way to allude to the idea of doing it), but I think we're just missing too much of the context since we only have a sentence summarizing the info.

So this might tie into my old theory of using Adeles so the AGE System can gather more data then via a single Gundam? Mass produce the System and you have an ever evolving army?

Taking calubin's translation at face value, it doesn't seem any effort to MP it went very far though, if such an effort was done.

Mass producing the AGE System would be dangerous though, even if it turns out to be economically feasible. This is especially true if the limitation of having a de facto AGE Core be physically present for data gathering to take place is true, because it would mean that each Adele might contain important aspect of the AGE System that can be captured and copied (and just because the EF can't do a complete analysis of it in 25 years, doesn't mean the Vagans can't especially if they have an unknown adaptive method as it is in use). I won't be surprised of they rejected doing it even if they could have done that, even if we ignore all the anti-AGE System politics that was mentioned to exist.

While on that subject, I loled at the statement in the Adele HG at of the that the Adeles set many "remarkable records" at many battlefields. I guess the standard of success in the EF provided by the last generation mechs is that low huh?

hey, don't laugh. in the regular forces, the Adele set remarkable records for service life (3.672 minutes!), distance traveled (roughly 89 meters before destruction!), durability (3 shots absorbed before destruction!), and marksmanship (roughly 1 hit for every 1,192 shots fired!)

sadly it never occurred to anyone to paint their units blue, like those from the Diva, so while they would be no more effective against the enemy (actually might be even less so), at least the pilots would get to come back home.

Are those stats real? :ermm: If so, did somebody actually went ahead and counted? That would have taken awhile if it did. :-/

If the G-Bouncer itself was said to have "used a frame based on the AGE-1's structure" while also have been mentioned to have been customized to use Spallow's permanent speed configuration, would that somehow also suggest that the cancelled model was also based of the AGE-1 somehow? I've always somehow got the impression/feeling that the G-Bouncer was sort different from the Adele but very much still in line with an AGE-1 derivative from the way the HG described it, especially in how it can also use the Spallow's equipment.

Kio's first novelization is out. Stuff that stands out to me:

-I guess Unoa resents Flit for a lot of things, like his treatment of Asemu (compared to how he treats Kio), the coup, and using kids as soldiers.

-Apparently they combine the first encounter with Bisidian and the AGE-3 getting captured. Asemu and Zeheart have their "reunion" here.

-Wendy accompanies Bisidian on the mission to rescue Kio from Second Moon.

-Wendy pilots the G-Cepter during the Legilis fight?

EDIT

I'm now hearing about:

-Adele MKII variants, like a sniper type.

-A recon Clanche variant.

-Something called the RGE-2300XR Pioneer Alpha. It is an X-Rounder unit, and the Japanese Wiki groups it with the G-Bouncer family. Six units launch to protect Big Ring, but are all defeated by the Ghirarga.

Yeah, it was said that Zehart destroyed 4 of those G-Bouncer lookalike X rounder use machines in less than a minute.

The Clanche was said to be engineered by the combined efforts of Madorna workshop and a new technology company. It no longer has the wear system but is still considered as the successor to the Adele.
