Note.
 
Below is the list of the people who can officially use Alchemy. If you did not learn it from the below, you did not learn it, nor do you know it. You cannot teach yourself. If your name is not on this list, your usage of Alchemy is void: no exceptions.
There are three stages of Alchemy: legendary, mastery and apprentice. All applicants will begin within the lowest stage, apprentice, and can proceed upwards with the Senior Staffs approval; application template will be found at the bottom of this topic. Send all applications to "Alex" via PM.
Stage Three: Legendary.
 

  • Able to dismantle "Legendary", "Mastery", and "Apprentice" level Creations
  • Able to successfully teach people stage 1, 2, and 3)
  • Successfully use Alchemy
  • Able to successfully use Alchemy silently
  • Able to successfully use Alchemy without the use of a ritual circle
  • Able to successfully transfer the properties of one object into another
  • Able to successfully blend multiple items together to make an even stronger one
  • Able to create synthetic life out of a substance
  • Able to transfer magical properties into their creations

- No users

Stage Two: Mastery.
 


  • Able to dismantle "Legendary", "Mastery", and "Apprentice" level Creations
  • Able to successfully teach level 1
  • Successfully use Alchemy
  • Able to successfuly use Alchemy silently
  • Able to successfully blend multiple items together to make an even stronger one
  • Able to successfully transfer the properties of one object into another
  • Able to create synthetic life out of a substance

- No users.

Stage One: Apprentice.
 

  • Able to dismantle "Apprentice" level Creations
  • Successfully use Alchemy
  • Able to successfully transfer the properties of one object into another

- No users.

Line requirements based on ability level:

Apprentice level users of alchemy must use 7 lines of roleplay, then roleplay the effect they desire. For example:
* Placing my chalk to the ground, I would begin to draw my alchemy circle. *
* I would fill the circle with the door, the scale, and the skull, as well as small runes along the inside. *
* Then finishing the circle, my hand would lay flat at the circle's centre. *
* Muttering in a low tone, I would begin the incantation for alchemy. *
* Finishing the incantation, alchemic energy would move from my palm. *
* The blue spark would move from my palm, into the ground. *
* Where it would then shoot up my arm, in the form of a blue energy. *
* I would then move up a wall in front of me, protecting me from incoming projectiles. *

Mastery level users must roleplay a minimum of 5 lines, then they can begin roleplaying the effects they desire. Example:
* Touching the chalk to the ground, I would begin to draw out the alchemy circle. *
* Drawing in the door, the skull, and the scale along with some smaller runes along the interior. *
* After finishing the circle, my palm would lay flat onto the centre of the circle. *
* A blue spark would move from my palm, and into the ground. *
* Where it would move up my arm in a crackling blue energy. *
* A wall would then erupt from the earth, appearing between myself and the enemy. *

Legendary level users must roleplay a minimum of 3 lines before they can begin roleplaying any effects. Example:
* My palm would move down to the ground, laying on it flat. *
* Where a blue spark would originate from my hand, and making its way into the ground. *
* The spark would erupt into a blue energy, which envelopes my forearm. *
*A wall would manifest in the area between myself and my opponent.*

Transference of Properties
When transferring the properties of one material to another, it is only the physical properties that are transferred as the chemical properties remain unchanged. This meaning, that the material does not chemically change but it is given a magical mask to make it appear to be the other material that is only able to be noticed by those with alchemic knowledge, the material is said to be in disguise. The further away from the material the creating alchemist gets, the weaker the alchemic magic causing the properties to diminish and the true material to be exposed.

Terramorphing Restrictions
Alchemists are able to make the dreaded spikes, though they must also take into consideration that constructs made with terramorphing require absolute concentration, and their hand must never leave the surface of the item they are morphing. Constructs like spikes and walls, will lose integrity and durability with distance from the alchemist, and will also become weaker if they lose concentration, or break their hand's contact from the surface.

Usage
Alchemy requires the use of hands, any other body part is not valid when channeling alchemic energies. In the case of having a prosthetic hand, it must have an alchemy circle carved into it to channel the energies, or else it will be void.

Human Transmutation
Attempting to use human transmutation to fuse an item with human tissue, or to shift properties to human tissue, will result in loss of limb or death, depending on where the transmutation was attempted on the human body.

Attempt to create or restore life in organic beings
It is, at this moment, deemed impossible to create life and infuse it into a recently dead human or animal. Any attempt to do so will result in the process backfiring and killing the alchemist who attempted it.

Incorrect amount of lines role played
Depending on where you failed to add a line, it will be considered as either improperly drawing the circle, or failing to cite the incantation. Both will backfire immensely, and will result in grave bodily damage, which will lead to death if not healed swiftly.

Attempt to use an aspect of alchemy outside of skill level
Making an attempt to use an ability of alchemy which is out of the range of abilities your level can do will result in serious damage to the hand and arm. Loss of limb may occur in situations where the injury is not treated quickly.

Consequences of improper use of alchemy
In addition to each injury described in the above paragraphs, the wounds will still have small amounts of alchemic energy within it, and will be unlikely to return to the standard of use it was before the accident.
