Bath Bags

3 tbs of bath salt or Epsom salts
3 tbs of dried lavender
1 tbs of Oats
9.8 inch (25 cm)round circle of Calico fabric
Small piece of ribbon
Elastic band

Start by cutting out your circle. You may want to use pinking shears for this to give it a nice decorative edge but it is optional.
Measure out your ingredients into a bowl and mix them all together.
Spoon the mix into the center of the calico circle.

Gather the fabric up to form a bundle around the mix

in the middle. The fabric should be

quite tight around the powdery mixture.

Secure with an elastic band, then tie some ribbon around it.

You may want to design a nice "How To Use" label to affix to the bath bag.

To use simply drop the bath bag into the water and allow the hot water to run over it. Gently squeeze a few times to allow the mix to strain through.
Makes a great relaxing bath for any tired achy body.

You can purchase dried lavender from good health food stores or craft stores.
