Well as it says on the tin the Police Guidance Document for 2002 has been replaced with the 2013 version which is 253 pages long and I suspect a great cure for insomnia. Don't dismiss it though, there have been times in the past when a detailed knowledge of a particular section has resolved a minor issue before it has become major and I speak from personal experience. I haven't read through the latest publication yet but I bet they have changed the rules on quarry and calibre having back-tracked on this issue regularly over the last 5 years or so. There will be no prizes for predicting a greater, easier access to health records of applicants either in the wake of the shooting sprees since the 2002 publication. Anyway here's the link |
