Nice one coop. seems quite windy (enough to move the large pine tree), did you allow much windage? and what range. Nice shot what bullet head? |

Hey up john, it was windy, i gave it about 3 to 4 inches of right hand side for wind, i ranged him at 185 yards, i must add that i was shooting my 6x47 lapua with a 105gr bullet which is doing 3100fps , and shooting laid out with the rifle on a bipod. My scope at the moment is not ideal for stalking, its overpowerd and a long range target scope 8.5x25x50 leupold vx111 Ideal for these shots but not much use in bad light or up-close stalking. cheers.

Is that a "target head" coop because I must say it did the job very well. |

Good shooting Coops, it just goes to show you don't need heavy rounds to withstand strong winds. The buck hardly flinched so the shot placement must have been spot-on. photopro |

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? ....... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!
