That's a good job Springer - and no, I wouldn't even contemplate trying something like that!

Not picking fault M.M but the bullet is in the cartridge.
Do you mean the case you used and you have re-headed it??
Or do you mean you recovered the bullet (which hasn't expanded).
Nice head by the way.
And thats the most unusul cut I ever seen do you still cut them like this??

The bullet you show is actually the cartridge, A loaded cartridge so if its the one you shot your deer with its not been fired. ITS COMPLETE.
The bullets the bit that leaves the gun.
So if thats the bullet you recovered it from the animal unexpanded or you re-headed the case.
Simples.
And it was a polite enough question I asked about the cut a reasonable answer was expected.
Do you or will you carry on cutting them like this.??
p.s. I never said i didn't like the cut only its unusual.

Nice pic MM.

As JR says, the bullet (or 'round') is the part that leaves the RIFLE, and HITS THE TARGET( which I'm sure you know), not the (cartridge) case, which also, incidentally, leaves the rifle *lol* -

Now, THAT is nitpicking! *lol*

Cartridge *aaaa* no there is a bullet or a case ? cartridge is a shotgun term in my eyes
the case with a bullet in was reloaded for mr personal preference so i could mount it under the head . the fired case reloaded with the head is the case that i shot the deer with ok .
As for the cut yes i do it the same as i like it that way and as i keep them for myself i cannot see the problem -angry2-

Ps, when you buy more CF Ammo do you go to the RFd asking for cartridges ?
And you wonder why people stopped posting on the forum ***wist***

No I have my own veiws on that.
But if this site is anything now it is informative and if you cannot stand to be corrected it is a shame. People will read your thread and they to will look silly when using the wrong terms.
Look in your ammo cabinet I just have and printed in PLAIN english on 3 differnt makes of C.F ammo it reads CARTRIDGES.(A loaded round).
Sorry for ruffling your feathers but you always have an opinion and so do I.
I will not embarrass you further by explaining more as I think Nige a NONE C.F. user has already said it.
