We were going to go this morning but the 'keeper put us off, said we would be wasting our time as it was like walking on cornflakes, can't say I was too disappointed !

My brother shot two bunnies this afternoon, 100 or so were out feeding in broad daylight like they do in real hard weather, anyway both were in good nick with lots of internal fat. I remember shooting a few rabbits in the cold spell last winter and they were like skin and bones.

It was crunchy under foot this morning but I still managed to get within 30m of it,now if it had been a doe then there would have been some photo's.
I came across the deer which was hanging around a pheasent feeder.
Quite often Ive been out and not seen a thing and when your walking back to the car talking away with your guard down then a deer just jumps out on ya,and hopefully you get the shot, quite often not and you stand there kicking yourself -HB- -HB-
