The write up.

Firstly can I mention Mark and his staff (bunwell shoot) for accomadating me and my 2 mates at fairly short notice.

A big thanks, your set up is a great one and with good staff that you have at hand I can thoughly recomend you outfit to anyone wanting a day out.

Sorry I never let you know about the munty carcass but the reception was non existant at the other venue and we didn't come home till late.

Then we made our way down to a longtime friend lee and a new found mate alex.

I hope we entertained you lads we had a real blast.

Not only did my assisant mal shoot 3 spiecies in a day we between us shot 3 probable gold CWD's (1 each) and could have taken more(but as guests were not greedy even though we were encouraged to shoot what we saw.

Another great set up thats all I can say and the hotel was spot on also.

I managed to complete my 6 with the CWD a great shot in failing light after some serious stalking, very different to what people told me cwd stalking was going to be.

This was "blind" stalking in reed beds and very exciting having deer after deer flee barking. (not the how much how big can you afford).

Very very good and I would certainaly class this as stalking.

I also shot a nice munty buck an old warrior,

saw reds and could have shot countless roe, (these lads said there weren't many??).

andys cwd.

mals red hind.

I haven't got 1 of mals munty, (the one he drowned).

But here are the CWD's.

It looks like a good time was had by all, the CWD canines look lethal don't they, no doubt you have kept the heads for processing. Did you eat any CWD whilst you were there ? I'm curious how you rate it compared to Roe.
If my memory serves me correctly you have now shot the six UK deer species John ?
