No mate but would say as they are lead free they will be very long and will need a quick twist to stablise.
they will like all copper bullets be prone to bounce alot.

I think the better bullet would be a 60gr Nosler Partition, but thats my personal choice.Although ive only tryed them in 6mm and 7mm with very good results,I think you need the soft lead nose cone to get the preformance from a light bullet traveling fast. *blahblah* *blahblah* *blahblah* *blahblah*

I have an 8 twist, what do you think?
The all copper idea interests me, and the weight loss from this in jelly was zero. The head mushroomed out more than the other 223 comparators. Ricochet is a problem though.

I will order a pack and compare

I do have some Sierra 55gn #1365 untried on deer??

Thanks for both replies.

I have used the 55 sierra gamekings in my 22250 with great effect in scotland they are what sako load into their factory loads as a roe cartridge.
I also tried the 60 partitions and they wouldn't stablise in my 1-12 twist.
1-8 will be fine for both.
the sierras always exited and never left more than a £2 coin exit.
i also tried 52g barnes x bullets and lost 2 deer where they zipped straight through and never expanded, 1 was found the day after the other was 1 of the 3 I have lost in 24 years of stalking...funny 1 of the others was with a 130g barnes x in my 7mm rem mag I was with karl and we looked everywhere and never found it.
I have seen all the hype and believe they have now sorted the no expansion problems out but i will stick with lead as long as i can.

Thanks for the heads up.

I just tried some loads with the Sierra 55 gamekings
Mv 3725fps 1in 8 24 inch barrel vit N120. ***
Groups were ok, so based on what you have said, I will give them a run.

***.. As John quite rightly points out, this Mv is probably incorrect.

Yes John that looks like b*llox to me also in the fresh light of day.
Perhaps I need a new chrony, will remeasure on someone else's this afternoon.

The calculated figure is 3400fps which would be more realistic.

N120 is fast, the load is compressed and it only just extracted yesterday on a very cold afternoon, but even so, its too fast for that bullet mass. The measurement was taken in a field and at an angle as the sun was dipping down. I expect I have measured some of the escaping muzzle blast.
