Agree with John - I am staying in Yorkshire as the bucks will be about 3/4 weeks behind on my scottish lease.
ALL 6 point bucks are "clean" here now and have been for x2 weeks some have colour others still white. You may find up north most are still in velvet.
All 4's and less are still in velvet.
But there are more deer in the southern counties then anywhere north and they are bigger also with the chance of a muntie or 10 as well.
Hey up i'm talking clients out of coming to Yorkshire. NOT GOOD. -angry2-

We had to work hard this morning.

Well in buck country but not playing, we had gales here last night and the deer were deep in the woods.

Anyway we did find this eventually.

Just about to start to download the photo's etc, will be a while but we were really screwed by the weather, gale force winds, low clouds and rain. No deer and no sleep! Thank the Lord that we weren't camping in a tent! *lol*

I honestly thought about how you lads might struggle.
Its been no secret how many bucks I've been seeing here last month.
And because of the high winds and cold even I struggled and I'm on the job.
As you know mate me and Karl have spent many hours up there and know you must get the weather/moon right or stay at home.
I had another mate spent 80 hours in a seat and on the hill up there last month and he only saw3 and missed the only shootable doe he saw.
Hope you had some fun.
regards John

It was worth the trip John, even if only for the pleasure of seeing Steve's face following a shot that I took! **boogie**
