I wouldnt even attempt to, its not really right for the job. it has to be a rifle for a accurate, clean shot. (my shotgun ammo that is) |

if your close enough 40-45 yards with the right load & chokes its fine , nice clean kill's . i usually use bb or buck shot . i shoot at a large apple orchard in kent .If i shoot a couple of rabbits first leave them out and hide in some bushes or hedge , wait for approx 10 min's for charlie to come . never had to take a second shot . I suppose if i was somwere else it wouldnt be so easy . |

I use #1's or BB's through my section 1 Remington 1100 with 3/4 choke, one shot kills out to 35 yards. If I need any more shots I've got another 11 up the tube!! I shot a vixen and three cubs on Saturday afternoon as they sat outside an earth eating two of the hens they had killed I was about 25 yards away in a ditch, the beauty of the shotgun is a quick follow up shot or in this case 3 quick follow up shots! |
