not been to happy with the pellets i have been using (H&N field target) and would like to know what other pellets anyone else might reccomend. The problem im having is too many shot birds not stopping in there tracks and managing to make it a few good yards before they fall, its mainly the ones at about 35 yds were headshots are hard to maintain so its a shot to the neck/chest that becomes the target. I mainly use RWS superdomes and was quite happy with those but always willing to try something different Any ideas? (Using a 2.2 HW 90) |

RWS SUPER H POINTS, cheaper than logun p's and will do just as good of a job... i own 2 rifles a tx200hc 1.77 and a theoben sirocco 2000 .20 i use my tx for ferals/woodys and prefer to us h&n ftt or rws super hollow points for flying rats my sirocco is just pure pest control due to its .20 cal and gasram which can be left cocked without loosing any power for however long is needed, i use this for general pest control, its a great ratter |

Ive just recived my free trail pack from Clubshot (Thanks Bob *good* ) Dynamic SN2 's and Exterminators and ill certainly be giving these a try! I will also try out some Super H points and find out what i find best. This feral shooting will last a while, already had about 70 between us and theres still about 400 more to get  Were not getting as many as we can at once, we just get enough to feed all our ferrets for a couple of days and then its back for more. Great fun though! :D |

Try BSA interceptors. They only move straight down when you hit 'em with one of them! Similar price to RWS super H point. I'm gonna try them next myself. |

thismorning I re-zero'd my gun at 25m with RWS Superdomes. they group better as the gamo pro magnum! took a lot of ferals today, and this evening I tried them on rabbits, got the feeling they penetrate more on fur. and my fell grabbed a feral cat in a drain! nice day. |

I don't really like the bisley pest control pellet, over 20 yards it is not that accurate. (Wanna buy 2 unused tins anybody?
:P ) At 25 yards i can shoot groups not larger then half an inch and leave just a ragged hole, if i shoot a group of bisley's 2 or 3 inches is a very good day. A headshot at 25 yards is an impossibility for me with this pellet. But it could be my gun, every airgun seems to have a personality of its own. Next time i go to the shop i'll try some different pellets but for now i stick to the Josef Schulz Bohemin diabolo exact jumbo 5.51, it is VERY soft lead, goes right trough the "bulletproof vest" of pigeons at 40+ yards and deforms just fine after penetration. With this pellet there is no need for me to go for a headshot, a shot to the hart/lungarea will do the job, full frontal, no problem at all. BUT!....we don't have the powerlimit overhere, could be that my experiences are of little value to you. |
| Beware of the man with only one gun, he probably knows how to use it. | |

Pickering Airguns recomended H&N FTT's on my last visit , but I have plenty of accupells left. I may get a tin to try myself next time I need some. Got some RWS super H point for ferrals but they're drilling them at short range, so I may try some Verminpell next for birds.
