I had a rare session clay shooting today, probably only the second time in three years. It did however give me the chance to shoot with my favourite gun a beautiful 12g Westley Richards side by side made in 1910. The original owner had specified additional engraving and all of it is in suberb nick. I visited the Westley Richards company in Bournville, Birmingham several years ago and had the gun checked out and "serviced". The guy we dealt with commented on the excellent condition of the gun so I was well pleased. I will see how I feel and maybe do some pictures of it - watch this space.

Monkey Hanger, Hawkeye and myself plus two of MH's work mates were shooting, and we all found the stands to be very tricky. I used to regularly shoot clays and practise may not make perfect, certainly makes a big difference. Anyway the shooting today was difficult but at least I didn't blank any stands. So no records broken but it's always good fun shooting with the boys. *good*
