Hi guys,I was out shooting some clays the other day at a local club and noticed quite a few people there had these "extended ported chokes" in their barrels. I'm sure they werent all purchased standard with their guns so could somebody please explain to me what difference they make or is it just a fashion accessorie, or a confidence thing etc? But i do have to give it to them some of them did look very smart indeed B) :D
So come on all you knowledgable people?lol Are they any good or not?
regards jamie

They don't make a great deal of difference, however you can change them without a choke "key" in the field.

I would do too Jamie, the ones that you got with the gun are for the gun, put others in and you risk fooking up the thread, and that will cost you big style! :(
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? ....... He's a mile away and you've got his shoes!

Yea i think i will now DM but i too questioned the bit about the thread, talking to a chap at the club and he said aparently briley and teague make them as an aftermarket add on and they do all the different thread sizes and makes etc as not to damage the origional thread. Cheers anyway both of you :)
